We had an outstanding experience with Lonestar Air Service, specifically Steven Gongora. Our AC went out earlier in the day, and despite it being the tail end of his workday, Steven came out to check on the issue. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in diagnosing and resolving the problem. We scheduled an appointment to have this company come out and do the annual maintenance check up on our unit. They were very polite and explained the maintenance and what needed to be done to keep our unit working properly. I will be using them again for any issues or maintenance needed at our home.

This is by far the best heating and cooling company I have had the pleasure of the working with. When we first bought our house we didnt have any heating or cooling systems. I called Lonestar Air Services to get a quote, and Steven came over and took a thorough look at what needed to be done. Not long after, he was able to give me a quote that was more than reasonable - in fact, he beat out John Waynes astronomical quote and was very competitive with a couple others. Between the good quote and Stevens good natured demeaner, I knew he was going to be the one we hired for the job. Within a week or so, Steven and his crew came and put in a brand new system.Today, I had a minor issue relating to condensation building up in the system so I called Lonestar Air Services up to see if someone could come check it out. I got a same day appointment, and Steven came right on time. Within minutes the issue was fixed, and Steven educated me on what to watch for, as well as the importance of yearly filter changes! While he was here, he looked over the entire system as well. Before I knew it, the house was back to the desired temperature and everything was working perfectly. I cant thank Lonestar Air Services and Steven enough for always being so easy to work with and for not just coming out to fix an issue, but to help educate me on prevention and maintenance as well. Steven is one of the most personable guys Ive had the pleasure of knowing.I highly recommend using Lonestar Air Services for all your heating and cooling needs!

6/5 stars, Steven is THE Hvac guy, he’s on time, honest, and very experienced at what he does. He’s serviced our system multiple times now, never pressured us to do anything that wasn’t necessary, and he was able to diagnose and repair our problems instead of telling us we needed a whole new system. Choose the small business owner that does the job right, John Wayne sand Elmer’s screw over enough people.

We had 3 other companies come out and told us the system was gone, we new it wasnt but couldnt get a honest evaluation, they installed a new air panel and our ac is back on, will use them again. I had a different company come out to perform routine maintenance as it was getting colder. That company tried to tell me our unit was low on fridgerant and that it would cost $800 to take care of everything. Steven Gongora came out to give us a secondary opinion free of charge, informed us that our fridgerant levels were fine but identified that our a/c wasn’t defrosting properly. He adjusted the settings to alleviate any potential problems. 100% Will use Lonestar Air for all future services!

Told me how I could prevent it in the future and even installed some additional valves on my a/c to make it simple.Did I mention that the rates are affordable? We recieved a 2 hour window for him to arrive and unlike other companies he was here fixed our issue and was gone before his 2 hour arrival time was up. Our furnace stopped heating right before the icy weather was scheduled to get here. Lonestar Air was able to get me a same day appointment and fixed the issue. There was no upselling or pushing of unnecessary parts or services. A part needed cleaning and the system was working like new. The technician arrive in the 2 hour window given at the time of booking the appointment and the work was completed quickly. It’s rare to find companies willing to fix a problem instead of just push products. I will be calling Lonestar Air for all my needs and trust the company to do what is right for the customer.

I called around to several places after having a bad experience in 2022 and I went with Lonestar Air to come in and clean my ductless systems this year to maintain them. Steve was very responsive, gave me the best estimate and was prompt on my scheduled day. The job ended up being bigger than expected (previous AC Company not doing the job properly) Let’s just say, all of my systems are sparkling clean and blowing extremely cold air. I am so very pleased with the work and would highly recommend them to anyone. Easy to work with, lowest estimate, prompt and very friendly. Can’t say enough nice things about them.

Steven is amazing! I called late when I realized my AC wasnt blowing cold and he came out the same day, way after the hours that I wouldve expected him to. He took his time and painstakingly walked me through every step of his troubleshooting and he tried everything he could to give me good news rather than simply selling me the most expensive repairs. Unfortunately, my system is older and coils did end up needing to be replaced, but he had his crew come out the very next day even with their full schedules and they took care of the extensive parts swap within minutes. The crew of three were all kind, friendly, and informative and I cant recommend them enough. Youre doing yourself a major disservice if you go with anyone else! Id recommend them to anyone without question.

Steven was amazing. My AC stopped working on me, and I had the dreaded night from hell.... it was 85+ in my bedroom and I was miserable.I have also had a history of bad luck AC problems, and had paid tooth and nail for some awful experiences with other local companies.Steven and his company came highly recommended from a good friend, so I gave him a call the next morning. It was a Friday, I was doubtful I was going to be able to get help on such short notice. Not only was Steven polite as heck and willing to come check things out, he even fit me in before noon that day. Having him come up to take a look literally within a few hours of my call.My problem ended up being not that bad, but he was able to diagnose the problem, address the core issue, then gave my entire system a once over, system check, and fluid top off.He did this in a timely and efficient manor. Thoroughly explained what had happened and why, what he had done to address the issue, as well as the preventative work he did to try to ensure it was not an issue. He also recommend some longer term work/changes I could do to go at the root of the problem (it was a drainage issue for me). In the end, I paid less I was expecting, for a few hours of work, a complete system checkup and top off, and a fix to my problem. All his work was completed by noon that Friday.To say I am blown away and appreciative is an understatement. You best be sure I saved his information and he will now exclusively be who i use for my HVAC work. Absolutely incredible from start to finish. If I could give him 6 stars out of 5 I would. Call these guys, they are the real deal!!!

The Capacitor on our carrier unit went out. Lonestar came out same day. With the heat we have had it was so amazing to have them come out on the same day. We woke up this morning to a warm house. We called Lonestar Air Services and 2 hours later Steven was at the house, much earlier than we expected him. He determined that a part went bad with our outside unit and replaced the part, all the while explaining how the coolant system works and answering our questions. Here I am 3 hours later from the initial call (!!) and the house is noticeably cooler. We will definitely be using Lonestar Air Services in the future. Thank you, Steven!!

I have a manufactured home that came with a “free” AC with purchase. I’m not knocking the AC but only 3 years in the compressor went out. I have insurance that covers all components for 7 years. This man went out of his way to file the claim, find out the compressor had warranty and dealt with that to find out they wouldn’t ship it unless I paid for it. Long story short Steven went above and beyond got the part and fixed my unit!! I will forever be thankful and grateful for this amazing company!!
