Hands down the best A/C repair company that I have dealt with.I had an Air Conditioning Issue prior to Hurricane Beryl. I called Legacy Mechanical Solutions about my problem over the weekend. They answered my call and scheduled a service for the day after the Hurricane. They showed up on time - no small feat in itself - instead of rescheduling to accommodate higher revenue-generating calls. They diagnosed the problem and did not try to upsell me on more parts or other fixes.If you have Jacob or Colby come to your house, youre in fantastic hands.

I reached out to Legacy Mechanical Solutions because my ac was not properly working. Christian answered my call after 5 pm, I wasn’t paying attention to the time or I would of waited until the following day, he was extremely helpful during our call. He came out the next day and informed us of our issue and provided different options of repairs. He completed the entire warranty claim process for us since our unit is still under warranty and even for the new equipment, he did it all. Our house got to cooling and it was nice. I have reached out for advice after our service and Christian has been responsive and super helpful. My friend recommended reaching out to Legacy. I called early morning and was able to get the Solutions Specialist Mike Wassom same day. I had Mike perform a diagnosis on my furnace. Mike explained everything very thoroughly, supplied me with more information than local HVAC companies had supplied with me before. Legacy made me feel like I wasnt a transaction, they truly cared about the well being of their customers. We were selling our house when the buyers sent an HVAC company to inspect our A/C units. That company told us it would cost 16K to get the units running correctly!! We were shocked. Our realtor recommended Legacy, so we called them. Jon and Mike came out and quickly realized the problem was only with the capacitors, a $125 part (each). We were so relieved! The buyers were still a bit skeptical, so Christian and Jake came back just to double check everything. After a thorough check, we were reassured that the system was in good working condition. We couldn’t be happier with the quick response, the professionalism, and the understanding of our circumstances. We will ALWAYS use Legacy in the future! Christian was an honest, and extremely reliable technician. If I could give 500 stars, I would. We had a company come out and tell us we needed an entirely new AC Unit and that to fix it would cost thousands and we probably just needed a new unit altogether. The new unit would be $23,000. Yes. $23k. Legacy was recommended by a friend and when I told Christian what we had been told it took him no time at all to evaluate our system and realize the solution was simple. We were back up in running within an hour. I am just so extremely grateful him and this company. Thank God there are still honest people in the world!!

More importantly though, the team of Christian, Jon and Mike were very professional, on time and thorough completing the installation. Even though they encountered some mechanical hiccups beyond the scope of the original bid, they worked through them and the final price did not budge from the quote. Legacy is well thought of in our neighborhood and now I see why. They have my future HVAC work endorsement for sure.

I would highly recommend using Legacy to both friends and family! This summer, our air went out just two weeks after bringing home our newborn son. We had multiple other companies come out, do inspections and give their assessment, and even hired one. The work was done improperly, and the bids were astronomical, so we were forced to continue efforts to solve our problem. I was referred to Legacy by our neighbors and after contacting them, they showed up the next day. Christian came out and properly diagnosed our issues and even showed us where the other competitors were wrong in overpricing their bids. This was the first honest, thorough, and expert assessment we received. In addition, their work was impeccable and their pricing was amongst the lowest. They have earned my lifelong business!

We have had a two AC problems the last few weeks, first the coils and then the compressor. We were so impressed with Christian and his team. He came out on a Sunday night at 9pm to determine what the issue was. He charged the system and explained the problem was the coils and that he would order the part and install when it came in. Mike and Jake came on Thursday that week to install new coils. They spent most of the day in our attic working on the coils. We were so impressed by how clean, professional and friendly they were. Another week later and we had problems again with our unit on a Sunday. We called and Christian immediately sent someone out. This time it was the compressor. They did a hard start on the system to get us by another few days until they could get us a compressor. Through all of this Christian, Mike and Jake were all very helpful and patient. Explaining all of our options and there thoughts on the different companies that supply the parts. We are so grateful for their patience, professionalism and quick response. We have found the company we will use for all future repairs for our AC units.

Texas June heat is no joke this year (2023) I came home to my house being hot as all heck, 84 degrees. I went to FB to see if I could get recommendations, and was blessed with the number for someone that they had recently used.I immediately called and spoke with Christian around 7pm, who was very helpful over the phone, and gave his honest opinion. I also, had texted Christian with some questions after my husband had come home and looked at the AC himself, and without hesitation he responded quickly. Christian came out the very next day, and was able to provide prompt service, and get our older unit up and running. I can say that my husband and I agreed that we needed to save their number, and are very appreciative for helping to cool our house down again. Thank you Christian!!

Christian is the man!!! Jacob and Mike were awesome too! These pros came in and removed the old system and installed a new one in our home in just a few hours and did a fantastic job. We were originally going to replace a bunch of copper piping for the coolant because I thought it was leaking, but Christian decided to pressure test it just to make sure and possibly save us some money. He did! Some other unscrupulous contractor would have just replaced it and took our money, but not these guys! Theyre down to earth good human beings and I cant say enough good things about them. We will be using them in the future... DEFINITELY!!!

Everything was in working order. He did find an issue with the flue pipe that the roofers didn’t reattach, which could have been extremely dangerous. I was impressed with Christian and Mike Wasson, brothers running this business. This is a family owned business. I wanted a maintenance service package for HVAC system and Christian took the time to explain all the different components that worry included. Mike came out and was super thorough and patient. Not only did they help fix both of our AC Units that had leaks, but incidentally found a small GAS leak that I unaware of!!!!! I thought I had smelled gas very faintly a few weeks priory but it went away and so I thought I was just making it up in my head. Nope!!! Gas leak. I was so thankful they found it and fixed it…….and that I wasn’t crazy. LOL Go with your gut, right? I can’t say enough about these guys!!!! Thank you all so much!! I was referred to this company while in Las Vegas on vacation. My A/C broke while I was away. My son and Grand-Puppy were quite miserable.My friends referral to Legacy included the caveat that Legacy will do their best to repair your A/C whereas other companies automatically want to replace your entire system without really delving into a full diagnostic and finding an adequate solution.This is exactly what happened upon my return to Houston. I was told by a major reputable company that they dont work on systems as old as mine. They would only provide a quote for a full system replacement.I called Legacy on Monday mid-morning and they were able to provide me with a same day appointment and this is with the Technician traveling from Magnolia Texas to my residence right outside of Pearland Texas. I had to coordinate an appointment for the next morning (which is today, August 23rd) and I have never been more impressed.The technician, Jacob, arrived on time and was so very courteous, well-spoken, extremely knowledgeable and most interested in fixing my A/C. When he walked into my house, he saw that I had 7 fans blowing in my living room and the thermostat read 89 degrees.He politely said, Wow, its hot. Let me see what I can do. For the next 2 hours, he worked on my system and lo and behold, within 1 hour, my system was back on blowing cold air.Jacob took the time to listen to my concerns and explain what was going on with my unit.I 100% recommend this company for HVAC concerns and I just want to say that I love Jacob and his sunny personality.In closing, I want to commend him on his concern for safety and cleanliness. He took off his shoes each and every time before entering my house. At one point , I started to feel bad because he had to keep coming in and going outside to check the unit. I just want to say Jon was on top of making sure he provided us with the best solution for our AC unit problem. He made sure to contact me to follow up throughout the day, and met up with me one more time in person after work. It turned out the fix was possible in the same day, and with our approval he got right on it that evening. A couple of hours later we were up and running. The next day the unit surpassed our expectation since everyone was very cold and we had to turn the t-stat down for the first time ever! Thanks for your attention to detail and customer service Jon.
