    I have worked with a lot of AC companies in the last year. Kingwood Air to me has been the most trust worthy and pleasant to work with. Had Taylor come by today to quote me a full replacement.     I called Kingwood Air Solutions on a Wednesday for a quote, they sent out Chris that afternoon to my home. He looked over my old HVAC system and gave me few choices (Unit sizes & Price) to choose from. He recommended American Standard 4 Ton 17 Seer 2 Stage. I took his advice and he and his crew disassembled my old system and installed the new one in under 4 hours that Friday. He set up the new thermostat and showed me how to operate it. It’s is amazing. He also taught me preventive maintenance that I can do to keep my new system running good and last a long time. If you’re in need of a new HVAC system or repairs done, I highly recommend Kingwood Air Solutions. They are prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. It was like dealing with family.

He provided us with 3 options for our repair, with no pressure to choose the most expensive one. They have ordered the parts and will return in the morning to complete the repair. Very responsive and professional. We have used them for years and will continue to do so.

    The service was scheduled quickly which surprised me because we just had a hurricane come through and I know a lot of people had issues with their AC units due to being without power for so long.     I just finished up with having KW Air Solutions install blown in insulation.     I called Kingwood Air Solutions when our AC stopped working, and it was almost 90 degrees in our house. The company we had previously used couldn’t come out for about a week. Kingwood Air Solutions fit us in the day that I called and fixed the problem at a reasonable rate. We had too many issues with our previous company, and I never felt that I could trust them.     I called thinking they probably would schedule for the next day since it was like 45 minutes till closing but was surprised to be told they would send a tech over. He arrived after quitting time and fixed my incredibly loud circulating fan motor. This is the second time we have used this company and it wont be the last.     I dont normally take time to write reviews, but I just had an incredible A/C service experience with Kingwood Air Solutions and thought they deserve to know about it. The Problem: No Cool. The Solution: Kingwood Air Solutions sent Taylor, a very professional, thorough, and honest individual who immediately started going through a diagnosis check list. Taylor tracked the issue down, fixed it, cleaned our condenser, checked freon levels and amps being pulled before giving it a fixed status. Although the fix was a minor issue, Taylor could have lied and told us something was wrong when it wasnt just to sell something. He didnt. He was honest and even gave us tips on how to perform some A/C maintenance items ourselves. Needless to say, we would highly recommend Kingwood Air Solutions to anyone needing their A/C serviced.     Lost ac unit due to storm. In one day, had technician at house, diagnose problem, and then had crew install new condenser. Owner even came out with crew to talk with us and supervise new installation. Been using Kingwood Air for 13 yrs. Technicians are always professional, knowledgeable, friendly. They both came to assist my Wife and I when our compressor on our AC went out and our Home Warranty company along with a very shady contractor tried to nail us for a bunch of additional out of pocket fees that the contractor described as modifications. Taylor came out and wrote up a 2nd opinion document on our behalf stating that the things the home warranty and contractor were trying to label as modifications were not in fact so and nothing needed to be modified! He left everything better than he found it. Wont hesitate to call Kingwood Air solutions again.2019: A fantastic experience. I made a call Sunday night and Dustin was at my home Monday morning. He was very knowledgeable and understood our multi-zone system. He pinpointed the issue within 20 minutes and presented options, including a zero-cost one. He also left us with some suggestions to improve our cooling that we could implement on our own. I wont hesitate to call them again.

    Brian and his team were AMAZING! After almost 2 months without A/C , fighting with other A/C repair services to be told its this or that and it still did not work, then to be told the Parts would not be in for 2-3 months in the hottest time of the year, we finally called Kingwood Air Solutions. They came out immediatly , gave us a quote and within a week at our scheduling, did the install. They were professional, on time, thorough, and so very friendly. When they left the only thing you could tell was that we had cold A/C :). They were neat and cleaned up immaculately. The care and understanding they took to make sure we were comfortable took less than 5 hours from start to finish. I would recommened NO other company but Kingwood Air solutions!     Update 06/24:AC was not working at all so I called KW Air Solutions and Chris came out and found the pan to be full. It took him 15 minutes to find the problem and fix it. He was so nice and knowledgeable.The price was spot on too! I have been using them for the past 4 years and I will only use KW Air Solutions for my AC and heating needs. Family owned and operated. I highly recommend them.AC was not cooling as it should. Taylor with Kingwood Air Solutions came out and was very informative about my AC . I had alot of questions and he answered them all. He was very courteous and patient. What I really appreciate is the courtesy call before he came out. I made sure to get one of his cards so I can ask for him specifically if needed. I would definitely use them again.

We had a bad situation at our home we just purchased and they were very helpful in getting things resolved. Very satisfied with my experience thus far.One thing I thought was very cool about this company was that the owner called me after he was aware of an issue that occurred after work was done and was very understanding and helpful in getting this issue resolved. He assured me of the work that was done and is making plans to send someone back out to our house to look into our issue.     The day before Labor Day our AC stopped working, we were worried since we had a new baby in the house. I wasnt expecting a call back for at least a few days. On Labor Day, at 7:56am, I got a call back from Kingwood Air Solutions. Not only that, Mikey came out, did a full inspection on our unit, including troubleshooting the whole gambit before explaining our compressor had failed...on Labor Day. Long story short, we needed a new outside unit and some new hardware installed. However, they literally had a 3 day turnaround on the entire overhaul...something I was expecting would take several weeks. They even raised our outside unit without me mentioning it due to some of the flooding we got due to Harvey.Above and Beyond is how I describe our experience. A family owned business who understands families so well they bring over temp AC units and window units so my daughters and wife could stay cool and comfortable, having a carpenter follow up the next day after install to rework some aesthetics, and stuff like adding a new thermostat as a free upgrade...its stuff like that why Ill always call them anytime I have AC issues. They know Kingwood, they know families, and they most certainly know excellent service. Thanks guys, my AC has never worked better since you put your hands on it.

    Adam was on time, which means a lot these days. We didn’t have an issue, being in a new home, we wanted to have the systems checked out thoroughly. He spent a couple of hours checking the ducts for leaks and going through both systems completely.     Just had KAS out to the house for a 22 point check on my two air conditioning units. Justin called and stated he was running ahead of schedule, and asked if could stop by. Its refreshing to see a company that is one hour early on a four hour time-frame versus a technician showing up right before the expected time-frame ends. Justin was very friendly and informative during the inspection and he had no issues answering my questions. The inspection identifed one of my units was low on freon, but everything else checked out okay. The 22 point inspection was very reasonable and I would definitely use them in the future.

    I purchased a new 5 ton single-stage American Standard system with a variable speed fan in Feb 2016. This replaced a 15 yo Trane. After nearly 6 months of use the unit has been flawless and more efficient. My electricity usage is at least 10% less than comparable time last year. Plus we now keep the home cooler. Bryans crew did an excellent job with the install. Very clean and neat. The new unit also flows much more air and is very quiet.

    We noticed our 2nd floor AC was not cooling as it should be. We set the thermostat to 75 and the ac could only bring it down to 78 so we called Choice Home Warranty and they sent their technician who didnt fix the problem. We called Choice Home Warranty again and said we were prepared to pay another technician to have a second opinion. The second contractor wasnt able to fix our ac, in fact, our fan started blowing the opposite way after these two technicians started messing with our ac system. They reported that our compressor/condenser needed to be replaced. Our lousy home warranty company Choice, refused to honor our warranty saying it was due to lack of maintenance which was just an excuse for them not to pay. Now take note, our ac was working, albeit just not as it should be before these supposed technicians touched them. This time, we couldnt use it anymore because the fan was blowing the wrong way. Weve had good experience with Kingwood Air Solutions because weve dealt with them in the past. I called yesterday and they sent Taylor today and he said the other guys connected the wiring for the capacitor wrong thats why our fan was blowing the other way and he replaced both the capacitor and start kit and voila we now have cool air again on our 2nd floor without having to but a new compressor/condenser. It did cost us $280 but that is way better than buying a new compressor/condenser. Thank you Kingwood Air Solutions, You guys rock!
