Hands down the best experience I’ve had with a repair company.I hardly ever write reviews, but I had to just to share my wonderful experience.Their service is top notch, and prices are reasonable.I was quoted over $400 for a repair by another company. I called Ideal to do a second look. Not only were they able to come out that same day (in the evening no less) to look at the issue, they were able to fix the issue (repair wasn’t actually needed, just cleaning), and I was able to save $300!Dalton was the technician and did a great job. Thank you!

I was referred by another customer who had the technician, Oscar and they were happy with their service so I decided to call and give them a try also. Robert came out and diagnosed my issue and was very prompt and professional. I then met with Marian in Sales and I decided to go with a new Trane. He was very also very prompt, professional and knowledgeable and not pushy at all selling me a new unit. Im glad that I contacted this company and do appreciate the excellent customer service from their office staff who handle their calls, their technician and the sales department. I highly recommend this company. Ill leave another review after my AC is installed. So far everything has been great!Update: The install team (Erik and team) was also very professional and did a great job! Overall the company exceeded my expectations from start to finish.

Our furnace was having issues, and they sent Oscar over within just a few hours. We needed a new board and Oscar explained everything in detail to us. He replaced the board and we were up and running within 90 minutes of his arrival. He also spent time checking the other unit and let us know some things we needed to keep an eye on for the future. Oscar from their team just did our winter service and he took the time to review what he was going to do when he arrived. He completed the service and then reviewed what he found. We recently had our air supply plenum replaced by Ideal Air. I was really impressed with the work and professionalism by Jason and Aidan. Ultimately they ended up having to do twice as much work because our attic was so tiny. They were extremely respectful the entire time, were precise with the new supply plenum build, and were very tidy and clean with their work. Thank you Ideal Air!

Ideal Air has been our preferred A/C service.They have serviced our A/C’s professionally, cheerfully and no surprises.I added a standby generator to fill in when storms knock out the power, and learned I needed “soft start’s” to make this more efficient with a generator.Ideal coordinated the analysis to be sure I didn’t already have soft starts ( I did not) and assigned Oscar to procure and install them.Oscar coordinated scheduling, came out and installed the items professionally and cheerfully, handled signing me up on the service agreement which got a discount on the sift starts and showed me how to figure the watts usage for the generator.Oscar and Ideal Air are the best.

They explain everything that they check out, why & if anything needs to be done, the cost. I recently had to replace my complete AC & furnace. It was done very efficiently & within one day. Revisited Review- Had to come back & give kudos to the owner and team. I was initially displeased w/a recent service call, that wasn’t handled properly (in my opinion) They came back out a 3rd time to troubleshoot & find a resolution.Real customer service like this nowadays seems like a lost art and very very hard to find. Ideal has truly restored my confidence in them. Simply for their commitment to ensuring open communication, transparency and honesty. This team is the real deal. Thank you Ms. Debbie, Deon, & Adrian.They answer quickly and schedule quickly. The techs seem honest. But I can’t help but notice recent repeated issues after we signed up for maintenance program. Replacing this part, then that part needing to be replaced all to stop working again after a few months & they’re right back to hit us up again $$. Need a 2nd opinion, something is off.

Had a Tech come to my house to do a service checkup, and the guy was the Ultimate professional. He explained to me everything he was gonna do and once he finished with his service, he went over what he had discovered and his recommendations and I never felt pressured to buy or make changes in anyway to my A/C system. I’ve been using Ideal Air for three years, and they do a wonderful job: timely, reasonable prices and excellent work. Allen just left my home after performing the Spring maintenance to make sure our system is working properly before it gets hot. As always, he was professional, thoughtful (wore booties in my home without having to be asked) and did a thorough job. I had them install a whole house dehumidifier a couple of years ago because the relative humidity was running far too high, and we have mold sensitivities. Their system configuration has done an excellent job of keeping the humidity low ever since. They’re as good as hvac companies get, and I’ve used many over the years (at least 5 others).

I am impressed with Adrians work. He is the most knowledgeable tech I met and does a great job communicating with the customer and ensuring the HVAC work is all performed as per factory specs. After he did his work, my HVAC system is functioning better than it ever has.Marion also did a great job initially diagnosing the problem and being available to answer questions and to draft a solution that addresses my HVAC issues.This was the first time I use Ideal Air Services and the whole team including those I did not meet except by tel. were on top of things and provided excellent support.

Ideal Air has maintained my two HVAC systems for many years with what I consider TOP-NOTCH service. The systems have experienced several problems including in-warranty and out-of-warranty issues. The service was always fast, reliable and without any followup issues (i.e., they did the job right the first time). Most recently, one 17 year old system needed replacement - the staff responded the same day with a visit to make recommendations and schedule the replacement. The replacement workers worked as a team removing the old and installing the new HVAC in less than six hours. The primary technician also served as the inspector and did an excellent job setting up the new zoned HVAC - answering any/all questions and not accepting any payment until I was totally satisfied. You need to be able to trust any company that services your equipment (especially A/C in southeast Texas) and over many years, Ideal Air Services has excelled in that respect. Mr. Sharp has very competent and well trained technicians and installers.

Robert was here for annual maintenance. Ideal has a great plan. He suggested resolutions for one room that wasn’t cooling as much as the others,and a better filtration product. Ideal did a full Trane system install for me in 2022, from the start with Marion and still now, they have been first class, prompt, and transparent. Came home from vacation with a down AC. Got service appointment next day, Diyan came out and quickly addressed the issue, found a run capacitor blew likely from the power surges from Hurricane Beryl, replaced it and was up and running in no time. Thank you all for not losing sight on what customer service is supposed to look like!

Ideal Air Services has been maintaining our HVAC system for several years and this company is above the rest with great service. We contacted them for a second opinion after another company said that we needed to buy a new unit. Ideal checked everything and cleaned the coil and recharged.Last year, we called them on a Friday evening as our AC did not cool. Within 15 minutes, a technician came out and tended to the problem. Under maintenance contract, they dont even charge you a trip fee, we just needed to pay for the parts. Can[t beat service like that.To top it off, everybody there is absolutely professional and genuinely kind hearted. Robert came out this time to service our unit and he is very knowledgeable and was thorough checking everything and cleaned the unit. We were so impressed with Robert that we requested him to be our technician. However, every technician that came out here was also quality.AWESOME company, awesome bunch of people. Thanks!

This was my first time to use Ideal and it wont be my last. I just needed a check up and tune up on my A/C now that the Houston Summer is on. They were very affordable and even offered a slight discount if I wanted to go ahead and pay for my winter check up.Dalton came to my house right on time and spent a good amount of time going over everything. i feel a lot more confident in his job than I did compared with the previous service I used. He was friendly and professional. I hope hes the one that comes out when I get ready to do my winter check up. If youre looking for an A/C and heat service, i know it sounds like a pun, but Ideal would be Ideal for your needs! (sorry...had to do it! LOL)

My A/C system began blowing hot air around 5pm on Saturday. I placed a call to Ideal Air and technician Allen came out. He explained what he was doing as he diagnosed the problem. He quickly identified the failing part, had the part on his truck and had the unit cooling again all in less than 1 1/2 hours from the original call. We have had a service contract with Ideal Air for years and have always received great service. I highly recommend.

Last week, I called Ideal Air to replace my 4-inch vents with 6-inch vents to match the outlet size of the bathroom fans and hopefully, make the fans run more quietly. A courteous young gentleman promptly arrived to inspect the vents and said his company does not think that up-sizing the vents will make a difference in noise. His response was a welcomed change from those service visits where the representative was too eager to sell services or products. He suggested other ways to make his visit worth the $75 trip fee, such as inspecting my HVAC system.I asked him to add a hard start kit to my HVAC compressor and luckily, he had one in his service kit. Despite the darkening sky and rain, the representative representative succeeded in installing the hard start kit.

They always call or text when theyre on their way which is very helpful.👍🏼 I suggest you get their annual service plan to check your heating and cooling system once a year. You also get discounted services with the plan.

I started using Ideal Air after a bad experience with another vendor. The previous vendor installed a complete A/C system but it did not cool well. Ideal found the problem and warrantied my system. They replaced my other A/C and heater with a very energy efficient system that works great.Ideal also comes twice a year to inspect both units. Besides maintenance they tested the air in my house for particulate matter.They always provide prompt service. Is it the cheapest? No it is not. There is value in not having to call someone out multiple times to fix things.

After having Ideal Air install our new AC system about 5 years ago, we noticed an issue with it not staying cool during the day. They came out the next morning and found an issue with our system. The team was able to get the replacement part (still under warranty - yeah!) and had someone out the same day to have it repaired. Less than 24 hours from finding the issue until the issue was repaired and our AC was back up and running. They initially got our business due to having good prices on the full system, but they will keep out business because of the top notch service.

He also made some recommendations for the system and made additional installations to the system for protection. He did excellent work. When our AC went out this time (due to a leak in the coil), we called our home warranty company, but they wanted a week just to come and diagnose the issue. Weve used Ideal in the past, so we called them up. JJ was here within 2 hours, and within an hour had a full diagnosis. He put a temporary solution in place while the new parts were coming, and Julian and Jason came by to replace the broken coil. They were meticulous in the installation, and you couldnt even tell they did anything. After a few hours of work and testing, our AC was back online. A year ago I had Ideal replace my AC and furnace and the process was easy, quick and affordable. I recently installed a generator backup for the whole house and wanted to add a soft start device to the AC to reduce the initial load on the generator. I called up Ideal and asked them if they installed these and they ordered it and installed it recently.Ive been watching the power required on my app and the soft start has reduced the inrush to 1/3 what it used to be, I no longer even see the light dim slightly or hear the AC start. Last summer we had a lightning strike hit our pool which wreaked havoc throughout our entire home. The air conditioning units and furnace were severely damaged. Ideal Air came out immediately (the owner!) and put in lot of time diagnosing all of the issues and giving us a few different options of repair/replace. Jim was able to get one air unit working so we would be good on the main floor until the go-ahead from the insurance company. He worked with our insurance company, and came out right away to get us back up and running as soon as we had clearance from the ins co. It was a big job and they were awesome! They come out for maintenance twice a year and are honest, friendly, respectful and timely. I also love that they call me to schedule maintenance so I don’t have to think about it! I wrote a review a month ago about Ideal Airs high quality installment of our new Air Conditioner. Now, I am totally 100% recommending Ideal Air for the response based on their Warranty Guarantee. Due to no fault by Ideal Air, the outside Trane unit had problems. I left them a message on Thursday night and James Sharp (the owner) and his son arrived Friday morning diagnosed that the unit was loosing coolant and rather than fix it they would replace the unit. They added coolant to cover the weekend and returned Monday morning replacing the unit at no cost. I am consistently pleased with the services from Ideal Air. About a year ago I was suffering in my new home with a humidity problem. I was directed to the installer by the builder several times. The old run around and denial of responsibility. They had the nerve to tell me 80% humidity was in my head. I was going to purchase a dehumidifier. Ideal Air came out and told me I had a licensing issue, not a humidity problem. I was not charged and was able to go back on the builder instead of paying thousands on equipment I did not need. I have used Ideal Air for my maintenance and they come when they say they will come and are reasonable. I am very happy with their service.

Our A/C acted up a couple of times in the past few months, with it blowing cool air out of outside unit instead of warm and was not cooling the house. The last time was when we had a power surge last week and we had the same problem. We called a local A/C company and he came out and cleaned the unit both times, cooled the compressor and got it going again. But he said that our compressor had gone bad and he was trying to extend its life until we can get a new one installed. It is a little over 6 years old.So while he has been figuring up the cost for a new unit installation, Ive been agonizing over it (all the money that was just lying around looking for ways to be spent was gone already. They-every dollar-left even without saying good bye. :( ) and trying to find out if it is under warranty, which is not. (Only 5 years.) We called Ideal for a second opinion and Marion Hixon, Operations Officer came out to check things.After connecting some instruments with wires and had me turn down the AC, way down, Marion declared the compressor to be fit and operating just fine, to our relief. Thank God it was not going bad and that it is in good shape. Ive set the temperature way up in the house ever since last week, so it would not stress out the compressor as I was told by the previous company. Now thanks to Ideal AC and Marion and Steve, our house is cooling great again.Marion did recommend that we need to get the coil cleaned and Steve came out just a few hours later and completed work now. We decided to sign up for yearly maintenance contract with Ideal. For a reasonable price, they will waive the service fee if we need to have a technician come out for a problem and also give us a discount on parts, should we need any. Although everything is up to God, knowing that we are doing our best and our part by having Ideal back us up gives us a peace of mind.Steve also has done a great job cleaning the coil and charged up the unit. He made sure to answer all of our questions and made sure we understood. Steve is so knowledgeable, personable and professional. We are glad that we found Ideal AC.

This company is super trustworthy. I know the owner and he is a really good person and hires good employees. One of our room has been too cold or too hot and turns out it was missing a damper. They installed it no charge. Later the same day, something happened and the unit wasn’t getting power. They came back the same day and fixed it. You can’t go wrong with this company. Our AC unit was pretty expensive and a 20 ton unit, but it had lasted and saved a ton of money on our electricity bills.

I noticed water was leaking from the AC overflow pipe on the outside of my house. It was late Saturday night. When into the attic and noticed water was coming out of the AC pan because it was full. I called a company who came out and said they fixed the problem which was a clog in the drain lines. Sunday morning came and the problem was was not fixed. The same company came out and even though they said they fixed my problem they did not. Monday morning I called Ideal Air. They came out and diagnosed the problem and what they would need to do to fix it. Tuesday they came out fixed the problem and took out all of the old PVC pipe and installed new. It has worked like charm since then. James the owner has been out twice before and I have found him to be trustworthy and honest. I highly recommend Ideal Air to anyone in need.

We worked through our options and agreed on a solid Trane unit at a reasonable price.Two days later a team of professional and courteous technicians arrived. Our units (indoor & outdoor) were changed out and operating smoothly within a few hours. The crew went out of their way to make this process painless. They placed tarps on the floor and cleaned up afterwards. Furthermore they took the time to correct ducting issues left over the previous install.When we change our next unit, Ideal will be the first people we call.

Whenever anyone from Ideal Air comes to my house for maintenance or repairs on my air conditioner, furnace, or even my thermostat, they are so friendly and helpful! I have been doing business for years with them, since our outdoor unit stopped working because of the power surge we had due to loosing our electricity during a hurricane. When I first called another place, I was told that I needed a whole new unit and it would cost me thousands of dollars! My neighbor told me about Ideal Air and I could trust them. The owner personally came out to give me an estimate and said that since the unit was still under warranty with the manufacturer, the part that didnt work could be replaced and he could install a surge protector so that this problem wouldnt happen again. It cost me only a few hundred dollars instead of thousands!! My husband and I plan to stay with Ideal Air as long as we live in this area!

We have used Ideal in the past and the other day our unit was not running at all and temps were a sweltering 85 degrees. Hubby went out checked the air con power box and could not figure out what was going on. Mind you, our unit is like 4 years old. Confused and sweaty he jumped on the phone and Kristine assigned a tech, Allen to come out and check our unit. Mr. Allen was on time, very professional and courteous. He went right to work and found the problem and fixed it right away by a flick of the switch 😂. Since we had him out here we asked if he could service our unit at the same time - with no hesitation he acknowledged and conducted our maintenance. At the end of his check he offered us a maintenance package Ideal was offering - very affordable and with the quick and professional response we always receive from Ideal, it didnt take einstein to decide. By the time Danny got there - within an hour - the system corrected itself and was working as designed. I was referred to Ideal Air Services by Trane. I bought a new townhome and almost a year later my AC quit working. I went through the home warranty company, previous seller bought through closing. Their reasoning was because I didnt know how to work the thermostat which was ridiculous - I lived in the home almost a year. We have used Ideal Air for about 17 years and have always been fully satisfied with their upfront clear explanations of our machinery and their workings. They have always been prompt and always done an excellent job! We used them to check our new home a few years ago and install a full new zoned system inside and out a year ago. We love our new Trane and loved the one at our old home of 15 years as well. That old Trane was 21 yrs old and Ideal Air helped us keep it up for the 15 years we owned it. Ideal Air professionally installed a total cooling package including insulation, solar powered vents, and additional soffit vents to cool the attic.
