    They replaced a very old unit this past summer and did a fantastic job! Then we had to turn the heater on last night and it kept kicking off.     Where do I begin? Our system went out and I called Tyrone and he got our unit ordered, delivered and installed with new duct work in less than a week. His crew was courteous, professional and best of all cleaned up afterwards without a trace!!! House is now cool and we couldn’t be happier!!!!

    It’s hard to find enough good things to say about my experience with Hood Service Company. I’ve lived here almost 10 years and have had an ongoing saga with refrigeration and HVAC. Tyrone and his people diagnosed the HVAC and removed the worst refrigerator I’ve ever experienced in no time. Now, my family and I are experiencing better physical health every day without the excessive moisture from faulty applicable and bad service contractors. Health is all I have to live for so, thank you so very much!We made a decision to buy an appliance made in the USA by Americans in Maine called Whirlpool. They had it in my house in days while I was still waiting for the “service contractor” provided by the home warranty company hadn’t even bothered to contact me. I feel a little bad that I had to turn over that pathetic Samsung garbage weighted by water and mold but I sure do appreciate the work they do.If I ever have a problem, I feel sure I can take a five minute drive and talk to Tyrone or Tara and walk out satisfied. They are the embodiment of SERVICE to the people. Thanks so much!!!!

    So happy that Hood came out to clean our ducts!! I’ve had a cough since buying this home; the ducts were dirty as well as all the vents. Plus, they discovered mold in the living room vents…thank you so much cause I knew something was not right. They also fixed the reason why the vents in back of our home were not functioning:)The crew that came was so kind/professional as well very efficient in everything they did! Also the staff Caroline and Tara are very pleasant to speak with.Thank you for doing excellent work on our ac unit!

    From the initial call Hood Service Company was very attentive I called Tuesday morning 9 a.m. By 11 a.m. Tyrone was here checking out what I needed to have done. Replacing both indoor & outdoor system & dishwasher. Agreement was made later Tuesday afternoon. Come 8 a.m. Friday morning Mr. Tyrone Hood was calling me ready for installment.👌 Great job guys!!     Very friendly and knowledgeable business owner. My ac unit needed to be replaced and i called one other company they wanted to charge me ALOT. So I called Hood Service Company for an second opinion. They beat the other companys offer. Im very pleased with the service we got.     Fantastic customer service. As soon as we parked our car an employee that was outside working greeted us. When we walked in someone greeted us and asked if we needed help and what they could do to help. My kids felt comfortable enough to talk to the ladies inside and gave them pencils and papers to draw on while we shopped. They seem very family oriented and have great prices for the area and products. Fantastic company to do business with. We will shop here again.

    We have used Hood services multiple times with our latest service being to replace our entire HVAC system, including duct work, installing later air return vents and moving the outside unit to a new location. All staff are very professional, courteous and on time. Highly recommend them!

    My blower motor on my AC went out. As many people know, Corsicana doesn’t always have people capable of making same day visits. Hood had a couple of guys out the same day. They were professional and explained the issue at hand. They ordered the part and the next day my AC was fixed. I’m thankful. I referred my mother the next day, and they came out and did some rewiring on her AC for her. She is pleased as well! I give credit where credits is due! Great company!

    I called Hood Service Co last week to let them know my AC wasn’t working. Tyrone and his guys showed up less than 30 minutes after I called and addressed the issue. I was given a quote of what the replacement cost would be and it was exactly what I paid! They installed the new unit today and it’s running perfectly! Thanks for doing an awesome job guys!!!

    Mr. Hood came out, identified my problem, and replaced my entire unit all within the same day. Being 110 outside, this could not have been more helpful and appreciated. He stayed far after hours to make sure the job was completed and ran countless checks to ensure that everything was working before packing up.

    I called Tyrone early in the morning after my a/c unit went out the night before. He showed up within 15 minutes, and he was able to get a new AC unit installed before the end of the day. He was timely and professional. Great service!

    Hood Service Company was recommended to me by my electrical contractor. Tyrone and his crew did an excellent job installing a heat pump and duct in my newly built home. Their price was competitive and they used quality components on the install. Communication was open and free flowing with Tyrone and his crew. Also I love that this is family run business and Tyrone actively tries to teach the trade to his young kids. The only negative I had with HSC is scheduling and I take partial blame for that. (I built a house / cabin myself and HSC had to schedule around my slow building speed. My install probably took 7 months)Good luck to ya HSC!PS. It was like 2 year ago when they Installed my unit. I’m just now getting around to reviewing them.

    Hood Service Company Heating and Air deserves our highest recommendation for the efficient, professional, and timely job they did in installing two new units at our home. Though we had a bid and were on the verge of contracting with a major regional company, a trusted friend suggested we call Hood for a second bid. Mr. Hood came out the same day we called, gave us a bid that was substantially less than the larger company, and promised to work carefully with us to decrease the impact on walls that we understood would be required to reach our upstairs unit (a unit that had basically been “built into” the house). The next day Mr. Hood and his men were on the job, and when they finished the following day, we were amazed to find that they had not cut into a single wall. Somehow, they had managed to crawl into spaces where we thought no human could go.But the chief reason for our high rating for Hood is the extra effort they made in helping us out the following week when our plumbing caused a glitch in their drain lines (our issue, not theirs). At 6:00 on Friday evening we called, and Mr. Hood’s men were at our home so quickly, I thought they must be neighbors. Once again, they were able to re-route drain lines without cutting into walls. We feel fortunate to have found Hood Service Company, and we highly recommend them for heating and air conditioning jobs.

    My mom and brother woke up to a house full of smoke. I’m so Thankful for Hood Service Company. They came right over fixed it from catching fire. Came the very next day and installed a new one and all right before Christmas. They did a fantastic job!! We got a 10 year extended warranty. No more worries!!! Very pleased!!! 😃
