We had an issue with our gas heater on Sunday. Grizzle was one of the first to respond to our message inquiring about their services and fees (which are reasonable and fair). They dispatched one of their techs. Gerry not only diagnosed the problem and provided excellent customer service and quality follow through, but did so with a positive attitude and a cheerful demeanor. He got us back up and running, making sure we would be set for one of the coldest days this winter. Our family and fur babies are very grateful for Grizzle, Gerry and for the benefit of a working heater!

Recently had a our heat pump compressor fail. Called Grizzle Heating and Air. Representative responded within 3 hours to request. We had insurance, and Grizzle worked with us and them very smoothly. Two technicians, Gerry and Zach were sent to our home to replace the compressor. Both techs were very polite and knowledgeable about replacement. Appreciate the great customer service and speedy repairs!

I called Grizzle on a Sunday with a heater that was not working. (Outside temps were around 10 degrees) They called back promptly and sent a technician to my house to make the repair so that we would have heat. Special thanks to Aubrey, Ian, Mina and Alex for fixing the problem quickly and accurately. Because of their efforts and expertise, Grizzle Heating and Air is my go to company for HVAC problems.

Jose was on time and went straight to work. He cleaned out my furnace and AC condenser checked my unit pressure levels and then compared temperatures from the intake to the exhaust. When I told him I had an issue with my thermostat that he was able to call it into the office and get me a new thermostat within the warranty timeframe saving me cost of a new unit. Jose came back and helped with the install and walked me through all of the features. I’m a happy customer and will be calling again in the future for any issues.

Very efficient, had our heater running again in about 30 minutes in the worst snow of the year. Explained what was wrong with it and even though he had to come back after the weekend to finish the job, we had heat all weekend.We were pleased with the price of the repair and how efficient and polite Zach was we would use Grizzle again. Gerry Sanchez did a great job job he is a good worker he explained everything to me and my husband, what was wrong with the heating system he took his time to make sure everything was taken care of to make sure everything was working before he left from all the employees that have been out here from y’all. 100% recommend! From maintenance to major installations, Grizzle has proven to be honest and efficient. They have integrity and ethical business practices.For years, we used Grizzle for maintenance. Our technician, Zach, always went above and beyond. Earlier this year, our entire HVAC system crashed. This happened several months prior to regulatory changes which forced the industry to start using a new type of refrigerant, effective 1-1-25.Our Grizzle salesman, Ian, was open and honest about our options. We could immediately get a system with the ‘old’ refrigerant, which will be gradually phased out, or we could wait for the ‘new’ systems arriving in 5-6 months. We decided to wait.In visiting with friends, I was shocked to hear other HVAC companies never shared information about the refrigerant change. If they did share, they used scare tactics to push clients toward the old system. They knew any old equipment they had in stock would soon become worthless so they were desperate to dump their old systems and make a quick sale. Grizzle showed far more integrity than those other companies.When the time came to install our new system, the workmen swarmed, with Zach in the lead, and got it done in a jiffy! Ian and Zach, you guys rock!

We can call these guys for multiple problems and they always do the job exactly what the unit needs after all their testing and explain exactly what needs done as well as Honest, Sincere and POLITE they are the greatest bunch of guys that come out. Every time even if its someone different they have every one of these traits I havent had one single guy from there not to do everything above. In other words no we will never use another heat and air place of business unless they retire and go away but I dont look for them to do that anytime soon fingers crossed. Called for ideas on improving air flow in our 1976 house. Got a lot of variety of options but no real immediate solutions. I paid for a visit but didn’t actually get any service on my system completed. Not really sure why I was charged. The tech spent an hour going over all the upgraded options he wanted me to explore, but then left and I didn’t have any work done. I also got an email with a generic sense of what “could” be done to improve our system (basically replacing everything) but no price estimates to work with. Felt a bit like a sales call rather than working together to make what we currently have run a bit better. We’re going to start with insulating the attic and hope the old system can work more efficiently. We might consider an upgrade but I’ll look for a second opinion first. The tech was a nice guy.

Needing to replace an aging HVAC system, I solicited 3 bids...one of them being from Grizzle. Grizzle rep, Ian Ansett, came out and inspected my current system, measured to make sure he quoted the proper size unit and gave me a quote which was extremely competitive with the other competitors. Ian answered all my questions and explained to me his recommendation of which unit to install. Of the three companies, Ian was the most thorough in explaining what he felt my needs and solutions were.About 3 days later, Zach, Kris, Alex and Jaydon came out to tear out the old system and install the new. They covered the flooring, including the stairs with protective materials and worked through the day so that we could have heat that evening. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after they were finished, which is rare in todays construction environment.I had a question the following day about the thermostat settings and Zach and Ian came out the following morning to make sure everything was running properly and recheck the thermostat settings.My experience with Grizzle was that they were very professional at every level and pleasant to have around. I am extremely happy with every aspect of the transaction, as well as the personnel and would highly recommend them if you have any AC or Heating needs.

Jonathon Lofton was very professional and helpful. He did not try to upsell me on any system. I needed a new heat pump but I asked if I should replace the whole system to get the correct seer setting. He explained everything and did not push for the whole system but explained the benefits. He was very quick to text and answer phone calls even after hours and on the weekends (within seconds/minutes). I was torn between just a heat pump or going all in. He gave me several quotes and all within minutes of asking. It took me longer than needed to decide (15-16 days) but he was very patient as I asked more than my fair share of questions. He did research to determine if the system I chose was eligible for the new 2023 tax credit (I recommend asking about it). Jonathan also gave me several dates for install and it all went without a hitch. For reference I got 4 quotes from the Amarillo area and Grizzle was the best price I found between them. If you’re looking for excellent personable people and quick customer service I don’t think you could get better anywhere else. Also super happy so far with my choice. Thanks again, Jonathan.Edit: I had to edit this review. I forgot to mention. Zach Irvin and his guys installing the whole thing. They were on time and very respectful. They got the thing done in approximately 7 hours. That includes removing the old system and installing, calibrating, testing the new one. Also cleanup.

Great experience. We originally called to get a quote on moving our current HVAC unit so that we could remodel our attic space into a bedroom. Jonathan answered my 10 million questions and addressed all of our concerns. Through a terrible series of bad luck on our part (and pore install job of our previous unit) we needed to replace the entire unit. Jonathan worked with us to make sure it was affordable and again spent a countless amount of time and phone calls to answer all of my questions and providing several quotes so that we could choose the option we were most comfortable with. There was never any pressure to buy or fix more than what was needed and he gave us his honest opinion of what he would if he were in our shoes. I appreciate the friendliness, honestly and compassion he showed during a rather frustrating situation. When my ac/heater was first installed new in June of 2021, Gerry was still very new to the field and doing installs. He has learned soooo much in these 2 years! He has really become confident in the HVAC field :) (even more so than when he came for PM in February.)I always tend to have alot of questions and today he was very thorough in explaining all of the readings he was getting and what readings the system should be operating at. He noticed that the capacitor is running on the high end of its abilities. He has written in the notes that since this is under warranty, hes recommending that the capacitor be replaced to avoid any inconvenience.My home inspector (due to foundation company issues, not selling the house) pointed out that my condensor pad is almost level with the ground instead of 3. Gerry contacted Brian and got me a price for Grizzle team to lift the condenser and set a new pad on top of the existing pad. (Thank you Brian.) And they will replace the capacitor at the same time (unless it fails before then.) Gerry went out of his way to explain everything to me, patiently answer all of my questions, and make phone calls to help me continue having a positive experience with Grizzle. Gerry has fantastic customer service!!! And he really seems to appreciate his fellow coworkers who have helped him learn so much in this field! Now this is a great company to work with that provides professional, knowledgeable, and courteous employees. A little over a year ago our main heating and air unit stopped working. Grizzle sent out Brian Winkelman to look at our system. Our house was built in 1985, and it was no surprise when we were told that it might be hard to get the correct parts to keep our system running as the manufacturer is no longer in business, but Brian was able to get it working again. Once we were in a position that we could look at replacing the units, we called Grizzle again and they sent Jonathan Lofton to conduct a complete evaluation and work up an estimate to fully replace our heating and air systems. Jonathan was very patient with us, explained the different elements, SEER ratings, and pros and cons of replacing certain parts over leaving some in place. After answering a couple hundred of our questions, Jonathon followed up with us and went over every detail of the quote, and even provided some suggestions on the direction to go, and/or to avoid, with financing options. At this point we are scheduled for installation and look forward to conducting business with Grizzle for years to come with their preventative maintenance plan. After he found out the compressor had seized up, he even went to their shop and got me a standing air conditioner unit to get through the weekend, all this at 2 am. I have dealt with Grizzle Heating and Air since 2001 when I bought a new heating and air conditioning unit. It was installed with great care and virtually problem-free. Recently I had to install a new hot water heater next to the unit and had to have the freon line rerouted so to be out of the way of installing the hot water heater. Mister Guadalupe Campos manager of the canyon office came to my house and assess the situation and gave me a quote which I deemed reasonable. His workers arrived the next afternoon and did the work which took about 4 hours and did an excellent job of rerouting the line. James and Jonathan at Grizzle were absolutely fantastic. We were in a bind with an older condenser that failed, but the furnace unit was still good. It was an R-22 system, which is not used now. They found a new R-417 condenser unit that allowed us to save thousands of dollars and reuse the furnace unit. I would recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work!Two weeks after I wrote the above review, my air handler fan motor and control board, installed by another company about 8 months ago, burned out and failed. Having no faith in the other company, I called Grizzle and Joey(who had installed the condenser mentioned above)came out and diagnosed and replaced the faulty parts. Again, 5 star service. Completely satisfied.
