I cannot recommend Firefly enough. Aaron was friendly, responsive, punctual, showed up quickly and immediately identified the issue with my AC…and recomended a better thermostat for moving forward. He is super nice and patient - I will only be contacting Firefly in the future!

We bought our first house in 2014. . . it was about 2016 or so when I found part of the heat pump laying on the slab as if it had fallen out. Our neighbor had been having trouble with their two-year-old heat pump, and Aaron was the third (and final) repair person to help them. I recognized the truck when he came by to check on the repair, and I ran out and asked him about the part I found--he looked at it and told me that there was nothing to worry about--manufactures regularly tape this thing to the inside of the unit so installers will have an extra if they need it. He told me that two years had been enough for the tape, and it had simply fallen out. I felt very lucky that I had asked the right person, and not somebody who might check it out for me for a small price.Flash forward to the record cold of 2021--I could hear my heat pump cycling on and off every five minutes even though it wasnt reaching the temperature I had on the thermostat.I pulled out that card that Aaron had given me five years earlier and called him. If you were here, you know that I wasnt the only one in Austin with heating problems! Aaron spent 20 minutes with me diagnosing it on the phone--for free. And his diagnosis was right on.We needed a new air exchanger, and he gave us choices and a fair price. He also came out the next day to verify his diagnosis. Within two days of our decision, he and his team were cleaning up and driving away after completing an installation that had gone exactly as he said it would. By the way, his Ecobee thermostat completely solved a perplexing problem of having the upstairs thermostat at the top of the stairs (which acts like a chimney for heat. . .).I am so happy I ran into him that day; so happy that his personality was such that I kept the business card until I needed it; and so happy to know he is always a phone call, text, or email away--for when I need him next time.

Aaron has been excellent to work with! He squeezed me in a few months ago to do an annual check on both of my HVAC systems. While my home was on the market, one of the systems broke and the other needed a repair. Aaron gave me an honest quote, was able to do the replacement and repair sooner than planned and walked the buyers agent through the repairs he made when they still thought there were issues. He is an honest and matter-of-fact contractor who takes his work seriously and does a great job. Thanks so much Aaron!

Aaron knows his stuff, no doubt. He has many years of experience and decided to go into business for himself 5 years ago. He generously checked out our failing HVAC system (likely a small evaporator coil leak). He made a quick estimate of what a change-out (complete system replacement [furnace, evaporator, and condenser coil]) would cost. Unfortunately as busy as he was a documented bid wasn’t emailed to me. I would definitely consider Aaron for service & troubleshooting work in the future.

Our heater hadnt been installed correctly, and he found and solved the problem while being informative and professional. If youre going to get your HVAC replaced or serviced, you should definitely use Aaron with Firefly. My HVAC system was 21 years old and needed to be replaced. I called Aaron on a Monday, and by Wednesday he came out and gave me several quotes and options. On Friday of that week, his team showed up at 8am, and by 1pm they had completely installed a new exterior and interior unit, run a new duct, replaced the insulation, and added a condensation pump. It was an excellent experience and I wish I had done this earlier.

Aaron came out extremely fast on a Sunday in the summer. He diagnosed our AC and luckily had the part replaced and back running in a timely manner. If you need anything done HVAC wise this is the company for you. Very professional and great at explaining and communicating our problem and the solution. We will never use anyone else.

Aaron just left my house and I couldnt wait to leave a review because I know if I do I would forget or I would get too busy to come leave one. I run a pest control company and have trained hundreds of employees on how to provide customers with a great customer experience. Aaron did that and more! Just a little backstory, my whole a/c system was replaced less than 2 years ago by another person/company and that experience ended up being a nightmare. It took them multiple trips/days to complete, there was lack of communication, they just showed up when they wanted, we had to create new sleeping arrangements for our kids because they showed up extremely late which caused them to work until 11pm and the a/c system was in our attic which was accessed through my sons room. Just overall, a big mess and at that time my wife was 9 months pregnant in August...so needless to say, we needed the A/C fixed.Now, here I am with a problem that a brand new system shouldnt have. I tried to contact them for the warranty repair work and they did not respond to any of my messages, calls, or texts. If there is something good to take away from that first situation its this: because of them, I found Firefly! The service Aaron with Firefly provided was outstanding...he communicated with me every step of the way which instills trust and confidence as a customer. He fixed the issue (created by the previous company) in my A/C system quickly, explained the problem, showed me what he did, and answered all of my questions...and he guarantees his work and I have no doubt he will follow through with it! Aaron is very accommodating. My husband and I got his name as a referral from my sister-in-law who is very picky about who works on anything in her home and was very happy with his work. We have called Aaron on two occasions for two separate ac units and both times he answered the phone. He was able to get us in his schedule very quickly. Aaron answered all questions and even offered additional information to help units run more efficiently. I would highly recommend Firefly to anyone!!

Came home and found out my AC was out and was 95 in the house, called Aaron at 6:45 (after business hours) and he picked up immediately, offered to walk me through possible solutions, and scheduled a time for the next day. He quoted 12-2 and texted promptly at 11:40 saying he was on the way. Was professional, thorough, efficient and 1000% honest. Diagnosed and Repaired the AC within moments of arriving, and said I needed a new thermostat and suggested I go purchase my own to save on the total cost, and then came back within the hour to help me install it and finalize setup (at no extra cost). Hands down the best service I have ever received. Cannot recommend this business enough, wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Do not go through anyone else. Aaron is amazing!!! Our AC went out (in summer!!!!) And we called on Saturday night. Aaron came out first thing in Sunday. Had a brand new system installed for us by Monday! He had come out last summer when our system went out and patched it good enough for us to get another year out of our system so we could save up! I cant recommend anyone more. Professional, reasonable and just an overall great company!

He has an easy going manner and possesses honesty and integrity that is getting harder to find these days. Aaron won’t try to sell you something you don’t need. He will right size a system to fit your castle and your budget. The service and follow up is A1.I have known Aaron for several years and thru two companies. Aaron is exceedingly knowledgeable and honest!!! When our 16yr old A/C quit working in May2020, for the 5th consecutive year, I was sure we finally needed a new A/C. After a very stressful morning and reaching out to several companies for help, I found Aaron and FireFly Comfort Systems by following the recommendation of the top rated company in Austin who could not fit me on their schedule for two weeks. With a 6mo old son and 5yr old daughter, and all of us stuck at home all day everyday due to the pandemic, we needed help quickly and Aaron fit us in same-day, texting and then showing up exactly as promised.I was ready to buy a new A/C but Aaron offered to try to fix my existing system so we could weigh all options and take a little more time to pick the right system. Aaron took the time to diagnose and fix my A/C for an extremely reasonable price, educate me on how to improve my existing A/C and also explore options for new A/C (at my request). He was so transparent and honest! Since my A/C had failed 4 times before, I received quotes and a lot of advice from just about all of the major A/C companies in Austin but none felt like the right option to install our new system. I feel so relieved to have found Aaron, who I finally trust enough to install our new A/C, when the tome comes.

Air conditioning was not cooling for Second night. 91 degrees in house. Called Firefly (Aaron) who answered the phone around 630pm and asked if I could get an appointment, figuring 2-3 days. Aaron asked about the symptoms and then told me it is too hot and he was on his way. Arrived quickly and had the system running in minutes. After so many 100 degree days, Aaron was a God-send! Humorous, extremely reasonable. I cannot say enough about the entire experience! Tha k you Aaron!

Aaron is the most responsible AC man I have ever known, with rich experiences and knowledge for all kinds of AC issues (I have old rental properties so my AC systems ranks from 15 years old to brand new ones). He always gives better price and better service as well. I got to know him from my friend who used him to install a new AC system. He followed up as much as possible after the installation to make sure everything is working correctly for my friend. He did the same thing to me too. During hot days he would try to be at the place as quick as possible because he is so considerate about his customers. I will use him all the time for my AC issues and I am 100% confident to recommend him to everyone. He is the best AC man in town!

Aaron is such a nice guy! My repair was a simple flip of a switch (literally) and he didnt charge me a service fee. He didnt have to do that since he made a trip here but he did just to be nice. Picture it--Austin TX 2021. It was August 14th and we were knee deep into an ordinary Texas summer. Im talking about the time of year when Texans pray that their AC holds up through the season. Well surprise, surprise...our AC stopped functioning around 6pm. The 3 of us in the house scrambled to find someone to rescue us. First thoughts...trip fees, huge estimates for unnecessary repairs, temporary lodging needs. I reached out to Firefly Comfort Systems based on recommendations from my neighbors. Within 2 minutes of sending a message, Aaron was responding. The anxiety I was feeling was melting away...and not from the heat. Aaron asked questions and I provided answers. Within 5 minutes, he had diagnosed the problem and we had an appointment for the next morning. Sunday morning, Aaron arrived 5 minutes early and worked quickly while answering questions. I think we have found our forever AC guy. I gotta say, Today was a good day - Ice Cube.

Excellent service. I requested a quote through Yelp and Firefly responded within 20 minutes with an estimate. On the day of the appointment he showed up on time and was very polite and courteous. While he was working on our AC he told us what he was doing and why he was doing it every step of the way. My wife and I are complete AC system repair novices so he walked us through our whole unit and showed us exactly what the problem was and fixed it on the spot. He was mindful of cleanliness and wore paper booties over his shoes whenever he entered the house and was very patient with us when we asked him questions about upkeep and general AC system advice. 100% would recommend.

Fireflys price was lower, their quote was easier to understand, and they werent pushy about add-ons like the other company. Firefly was really easy to work with and did a great job on the installation. The system works great and I know we got a good price.

Instead of responding immediately with the cost of a diagnostic, these folks did troubleshooting via email with me until I figured out how to fix the issue. I could not be happier with the hvac replacement. The team used super care removing the old unit and installing the new one. All floors were covered, installers used shoe mitts. In less than 4 hours I had a brand new super quiet Carrier comfort series system and you would have never known they were here! The bonus is I got four quotes and Firefly saved me $$$.
