    Our home was damaged in May of 2024. Roof, siding, decks and dock roof and decking were all damaged. Many contractors were only interested in replacing the roof on the house and not the entire job. Micha Turner and Stephanie White surveyed the damage and committed to completing the entire job. They developed a project plan that addressed all of my concerns and eliminated any issues with work that had already been completed. I was kept informed of what work was next to be completed and the status of materials needed. Great communication! I was very pleased with the quality of work. I would not hesitate to recommend Excel Construction Group.

    Tony with Excel did our roof here in Skyline Ranch Ft Worth/Benbrook last month(Jan 2025). Tony was hands on and his crew was excellent. Finished in a day and the clean up was great. My roof also had upgrades that were not on my original roof at no additional charge (i.e. better roof vents). Highly recommend Excel and Tony as well.

    So very happy with the service from Tony McCarty and Excel Construction on our new roof and gutters! He came out quickly for an inspection, met with the insurance adjuster on the roof, and helped facilitate communication with the insurance company when they were dragging their feet. He made the entire process so easy. Installation was seamless and it looks great!     So many of us in the metroplex were inundated after the hail storm in May. We had just about every roofing company knocking on our door and leaving business cards wanting to give free roof inspections. It was quite unnerving. I was very fortunate to speak with a neighbor who was working with Hunter and Jake with Excel construction. My neighbor was expressing such positive feedback from Excel construction that I told her to send Hunter and Jake my way. The next day Hunter and Jake arrived sporting the company logo. No more strange fellas knocking on my door and not knowing if they were legit or not. Hunter and Jake were very professional and very thorough inspecting my roof and home for hail damage. Needless to say, they found plenty. Hunter and Jake patiently explained how they will work with our insurance company to resolve and repair or replace all the damage caused by the hail storm. Everything went smoothly! I couldnt have asked for a better company. Honestly, I dont believe a better one exists. If one does, they dont have Hunter and Jake on the frontline. Its gentlemen like Hunter and Jake that represents Excel construction to being an ace! I hope Excel management is reading this, if so Hunter and Jake deserve a great Christmas bonus!     James McGaugh, and the rest of the crew of Excel Construction were the best! James explained everything with precise and linear precision . Every question was answered and no stones were left.     We had widespread hail damage, after the spring storm that blew thru last March. Our friends referred us to Stephen Curry at Excel Construction. He was so wonderful to work with. We had a shingle roof and he replaced it with a metal roof, which we have always wanted. He also was able to replace the metal roof on our workshop and various other items, were repaired, and the only thing we were out of pocket, was our deductible. Stephen is very professional and knows what hes doing. We trusted him completely to get done what we wanted and what was needed. Call Stephen Curry, you will not regret it!!!!

    I want to say thank you. The process of getting the roof done and completed is very confusing for a new homeowner or if you have never done it before. Between laws, insurance and the roof repair it’s very complicated. Tony came explained the process and how it works and stayed in touch helped us find a contact for our windows to be repaired, rain gutters fixed help us to understand all that goes with it.     Our 30-year old bathroom shower was resigning from service: Tiles falling, etc. The linoleum bathroom floor was also showing its age. Lorie and Doug came over to discuss the best way to go. I loved the face that, upon hearing my ideas, Doug would say: You might not want to really do that! Together, we came up with a vision for a new frameless shower and new bathroom floor. See photos for the result!! We finished at the expected price and timeframe! Lorie, Doug, and the entire crew were OUTSTANDING! My wife LOVES IT!

    We had our roof done by Tony. He was awesome. He took the time to get to know us and really built trust. This was important since we had the job done while we were out of town. He was attentive to our needs and kept us updated every step of the way. He dealt with insurance and was very thorough in his explanations, answering all questions along the way.     Micah and Stephanie were on the ball from dealing with the insurance thru the end of the job. They are clearly experienced and helped us work through the claims process. After the claims they were able to obtain get us the roofing we were seeking and if you are reading this I urge you to do some YouTube research - there is a real difference in single manufacturers. Their crew got the roof on in a day. Finally they were through with ensuring post install quality checks. I won’t say everything was perfect - with this many moving parts Murphy’s law will come into play - but I think this crew is among the better ones.

    Micha Turner and Brian Gozdowski were on top of things from the very beginning. They handled everything on my behalf with the insurance company and were here with the adjuster to make sure all the damage from the hail storm was accounted for and they followed up during the process. Our roof was installed by a talented crew and all the trash and nails were cleaned up nicely. The crew forgot to reconnect one hot water heater pipe and Micha had them back out within an hour to finish the work. Everything went smoothly from the roof to the gutters to the painting of the door and outside stair railing. Overall I was very pleased and my wife couldn’t get over how good it all looked.     Tony at Excel construction went above and beyond foe me during my roof replacement. He mediated with thr insurance company for me and fought to get as much covered as possible. He even went through a lengthy appraisal process with me. She helped get my claim moving and approved by my insurance company who had previously denied the claim. We live in Keller,Texas and we received extensive damage from the recent hail storm. We were extremely well pleased with the repair work that she and her Excel tradesmen performed.After the storm she was present when our insurance adjuster made his walk around discoveries. She helped point out several items that the adjuster overlooked.The quality of work that her tradesmen performed on our fence, roof, and gutters exceeded my expectations.     Tim Mettinger and his team were awesome. They went above and beyond and helped me every step of the way, including handling the insurance coordination. They worked safely and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Two days after they replaced my roof, we had another hail storm and Tim came out right away to inspect my roof again. Thankfully there was only minor damage that was fixed quickly with very little cost. I was confident in this company because they are rated very highly with the Better Business Bureau, bonded and insured.     Chris Egbert and Weston are awesome! They treated me right!I purchased a home at the end of June 2019 and before I closed on the house a tornado ripped through the neighborhood destroying the fence. Excel construction group was hired to rebuild the fence and was partially completed by the time I closed on the house. The ends were not completed because our neighbors fence was not built yet. Well, I had forgotten about that until a side neighbors dog came over through the unfinished gap while playing with my daughters. And that was almost a year later! Anyway, I got in touch with Chris Egbert (he was not our original project manager) and he was extremely professional and courteous! He asked some details and requested some photos, then did some research. He sent Weston, an awesome repairman to complete the fence ends and adjust the gate.     After a severe hail storm, I knew that I had some damage to my roof, after seeing a broken skylight, however I was not sure how severely the damage was. Laurie Arnold and Trey Jordan with Excel stopped by after noticing damage to my roof that I had not seen and after Trey and Laurie conducted a full inspection, found that my roof was in severe need of replacing in addition to the skylight, one of my solar panels, and even a broken window on the side of the house I had not noticed,They were extremely easy to work with and helped me through the entire process in dealing with the insurance company and took care of all of the scheduling and planning. They were on site throughout the day of the replacement roof and even made a special trip to get a different skylight after I changed my mind. The two of them were great, as was everyone else I talked with at Excel. I very highly recommend Excel and if you are able to work with Trey and Laurie, you will have a phenomenal experience.

When Janell showed up and asked about helping us get our roof fixed, I told her that my insurance had already denied me 3 times so I didnt think they would do it but she was welcome to look at it.     Had my roof/gutters/popcorn ceiling replaced by Excel in June 2019.Best part of the experience was working with Renate and Lacy as the point of contact.     Lorie made the entire process of repairing the hail storm damage from earlier this year so seamless. The company’s work and repairs were way above par compared to claims I’ve done in the past, but Lorie was what made the whole thing bearable. Like most in the Keller area my house/roof was destroyed from the hail. Lorie came out early the next morning after the storm and got everything running. She walked me through the process step by step and explained why Excel should be my choice. I flat out asked her if I could get her on the phone with my insurance company and let her handle most everything. She dealt with the insurance company, dealt with my mortgage company and did all the stuff I really didn’t want to deal with. She truly made Excel look like concierge service vs just a construction company. Constant communication about repair dates and timeframes, no guessing or waiting on when I would hear back if I had a question. Excel will be my go to for any future storm damage and the remodeling I’m looking to do down the road of my kitchen.

    Contacted Trey Smoak of this company about roofing. He visited my house in Colorado Springs,Co.Trey gave me an estimate and worked me into his schedule ASAP. He was in constant contact with me as I had some scheduling problems. He worked his magic and got me worked into his schedule at a time that work for me. His crew arrived on schedule and efficiently and quickly and worked until job was completely.The crew then did their cleanup. Once they finished their cleanup,you could not tell they had been there unless you looked at the new roof. Trey worked overtime to obtain the shingles in the color I wanted.     The Excel construction group first determined that we needed a new roof and then worked with my insurance company to provide the required funds. This was an extremely easy process! Later in March 2021, they coordinated the installation of a new steel shingle roof and gutters. Once again, the work and the cleanup was done in a very timely manner. At each step of the process Jacob and Joshua made it quite clear what would be happening. The new roof looks great and one of the reasons for that is based on their experience, they suggested a lower profile shingle.     I just want to thank Excel and specifically Nick Wallace who represented me in my dispute with Allstate. At a time that all my neighbors were getting new roofs they tried to deny my claim. Nick came to bat for me and I am glad I can repay him back in this review. Their guys did a fantastic job by the way and being a larger company they showed a lot of flexibility in doing other non roofing work as well. Highly recommend this company and if you want someone who is professional, timely, and does what he says ask for Nick.

    I was referred to Excel by a co-worker that had recently had a new roof installed. He had nothing but good comments about them and highly recommended the company and the project manager (Cory). I decided to give them a call to have them come out to take a look at my roof. Project managers Cory and Kyle came out and did an extensive inspection of my roof and took pictures for documentation. After their inspection, they reviewed their findings with me. They helped coordinate with my insurance company on my claim for hail and wind damage. They met with the insurance inspector when he came out to do his assessment and showed him all of their findings.After the insurance company originally rejected my claim, they helped to walk me through my various options for next steps. After a second inspection by my insurance company, the claim was rejected again. Cory and Kyle felt very strongly that my roof was damaged beyond repair and should be replaced. They then referred me to a public adjuster to coordinate the next steps of the claim process. A third inspection was requested by the public adjuster and the claim was again rejected by the insurance company. The final step was to do a joint appraisal between an appraiser selected by my insurance company, and another recommended by my public adjustor. As a result of the appraisal process, my insurance company FINALLY approved a new roof.Cory and his team were able to get me scheduled for the new roof install with a couple of weeks. Cory and his team were extremely professional during the entire 2.5-day project. They showed up on time and worked until dark each day. They draped all of my landscaping next to house to help prevent damage. The end product roof looks amazing! As a project manager, Cory showed up early each day and kept me up to speed on the project. One of the things I liked most about Cory is how responsive he was via text messaging. He was VERY professional and respectful of my time.The only negatives with my project: even though my landscaping in the backyard was tarped and covered, it did get a little trampled during the project. This was my only complaint.Overall, I was VERY happy with the job they did, and will definitely consider them for a kitchen remodel project that I have planned for the near future. I would highly recommend Excel Construction Group for your roofing needs.

    I met Phillip Campbell in spring of 2018 after a hailstorm hit our area. He offered a complementary roof and property inspection. I found him to be knowledgeable and professional. Phillip immediately took an active role in working with my insurance company and the adjuster. He worked through the settlement process to all parties satisfaction. Once complete he got the project scheduled and played an active role throughout the job. He was on site regularly.     In Early 2019 my house was canvased by Mr Corey Heyworth and Mr. Carlos Mendez of Excel Contraction for possible roof damaged caused by weather and hail.     Our roof was rather aged and then damaged by last years hail storm. We chose Excel Construction Group to replace it. David Estep & David Bagby handled the job.     We had an incredible experience with Excel construction group that truly was great from start to finish.When strangers knock on our door I never answer as we live in a neighborhood that seems to get a lot of annoying traffic with people selling things etc. I happened to decide to answer since it was 2 women on the porch and I am glad I did. They were checking all the homes in our neighborhood and noticed from the street that our roof has been damaged with all these bad storms. I have them permission to go up on the roof and take photos. We ended up using them to repair our roof and they coordinated with my insurance carrier and made the whole process very easy for us.I always felt like the 2 ladies I dealt with were honest and shoots straight with me. They were also great at communicating and being on time. When the roofers were out one of them even went around our home herself to make sure no nails or parts had been left behind as we have 3 small children, and I really appreciated her going that extra mile for us.I would strongly recommend this company if you find yourself in need of a new roof!

    Chad was working a project down the road from my house and stopped by because he noticed the hail damage to our metal roof. He did a free inspection and explained that the amount of damage was easily covered by our insurance policy. We filed a claim and had an inspector who verified that there was enough damage to cover a total roof replacement as well as some gutter replacements and a new shed in the backyard! Chads team provided us options for replacement roofs and got up on the roof with samples to help us get an idea of what the end result would look like. The construction team had the roof stripped, the damaged decking replaced, and the new shingles installed within a week. We have been extremely satisfied with the level of communication throughout the project and the final results. Honest contractors are hard to find these days but I would absolutely recommend Chad and the Excel Construction Group to neighbors and friends!

    My wife and I wish to thank Joshua Sullivan, Jamarri Holloway and the staff and crew of Excel Roofing for their outstanding work during a recent roofing project on our house. Our roof was not the typical asphalt shingle roof—it was a stone-coated steel roofing product requiring higher degrees of knowledge and skill. Josh and Jamarri led the effort from meeting the insurance adjuster to picking up the last bits of debris in the post-job clean up keeping us informed throughout the project. Few efforts are without problems. The weather in the form of afternoon thunderstorms was ours. The Excel crew came early in the morning and stayed till the light was gone working around the storms making sure the roof was weathertight and delivered as promised.     These guys were great. Honestly, great. I was annoyed at even having to have a roof replaced so when they knocked on the door I was already rolling my eyes, but I let them check it out because I knew it was in bad shape. We had been burned before on a fly by night roofing company so we were skeptical. They did everything they said they were going to and showed up when they said they were going to. That’s huge for a roof contractor. The roof looks completely amazing (I didn’t think it was possible to be excited about a roof) and they finished it in record time.     Fence, siding and painting siding. Excellent company. Renata Ward was our rep who was always there for us through the entire process. They worked through our insurer to complete the claims process and replace our roof, replace damaged siding, replace a large oak tree, paint the siding and replace the fencing, all damaged by a storm and suspected tornado.
