Essential Home Performance has been great for us. They are prompt with their service calls. The service techs are professional in their interaction with us as a client and in their appearance.They are able to check the equipment efficiently and fix any problems with the unit on the same call with a great attitude. 😃We had used another local A/C company before whose techs were disrespectful in there conversations, attitude, appearance, and complained about the work they were doing. We decided never to have that company in our house again. THEN, We were referred to Essential Home Performance. They are great from their office to the techs.Thanks to them no looking back.

Absolutely would recommend Essential Home Performance highly for any if your HVAC needs! They are prompt and provide an accurate and professional quote for services. They kept us updated regularly during the complete replacement of our ductwork.The old ductwork was original to our home built in 1993. However, the builder took lots of shortcuts and didn’t take care for our home to have a balanced system as far as airflow.Then in 2020, at the peak of the pandemic our Trane heat pump decided to quit. The company we ended up having to go with due to so many supply and service limitations did a horrible installation job on our new Rheem 18 SEER heat pump system. Our unit in the attic was not leveled on installation and caused so many problems over the past several years.EHP came in and did a quote for us to replace all ductwork, level the unit in the attic, add UV air purifier, add insulation and replaced our 30+ year old attic pull down ladder access with an insulated aluminum ladder/door. They weren’t the lowest quote we received, but they were the most professional and detailed quote and we felt the most comfortable with them.I highly recommend them and my only regret is that they didn’t install our new Rheem heat pump system. We have them now for our future care and maintenance and were very happy about it!! Give them a call for your HVAC needs….trust me they will blow you away with their service!

We absolutely love using these guys for our heating and A/C needs. We had the work done a few months ago and since I had the air purifier installed l wanted to really test it out before I left a review. Im very pleased. Great customer service, great workmanship, fast, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable & tops it off with great pricing.I called to have my vents cleaned in a house we bought and they were able to send a team out right away! The owner came out as well & everyone really went out of their way to do a great job and take care of us. They put out floor mats mats and wore shoe booties to protect the carpet and then they cleaned up after themselves in every room- and I mean without me asking. How cool is that? I think this was the first company I have used in years that Ive been truly and completely satisfied with. Just a smooth interaction all the way through from the time I called to set an appointment. It feels really good these days to find a company that really cares, and for that to show through their work and attention. They definitely created life long customers in us.Update... Weve been using this company since last year and we are still loving them. Had another visit today to clean our unit and I am beyond pleased. Thank you, Patrick!

I apologize, but this review is going to a little wordy, but I think it is important. Two years ago I had a new heating an air unit installed by a man named Jonathan Halford. Unfortunately, as it turned out, Mr. Halford has no business being in the HVAC business, and should be in prison! We have had nothing but trouble in the wake of Mr. Halfords poor workmanship! Fortunately for us, we found Essential Home Performance who we have been using to fix all of the issues created by Mr. Halford. Most recently, at 4:15 am, on January 13, I woke up to the sound of a CO alarm going off. I called the fire department who responded with CO gas meters. Honestly, I was expecting to learn we had a faulty alarm; however, that was not the case. During one of the worst cold spells we have seen here in North Central Texas, I was forced to shut off my propane until the problem could be diagnosed. I called Essential Home Performance who sent a technician early the next morning. After a thorough examination of my unit, the problem was the result of poor workmanship and faulty installation of my heating unit, which caused the heat exchanger in the unit to fail after only two years of service. Of course, the unit was not covered under warranty because the failure was the result of poor workmanship, not the unit itself. The unit was replaced by Essential Home Performance and is working very well.On another note, but equally as important, I want to bring to attention the honesty of Albert Rodriguez who is the owner of Essential Home Performance. Albert came to my house to diagnose the problem with my heating unit. When he was done, he explained the problem and what my options were. He told me he would get me a quote on my two options. The next day, I received a phone call and was told they are still waiting on some quotes. The second day, I didnt hear anything back, so I called at 4:40 pm to check on the status of my quote. Albert called by back somewhere around 6:00 pm. Here is the impressive part, Albert told me that he had gotten the quotes, and then apologized, because due to how busy he was, he had forgotten to call me back. In todays world, how many business owners take responsibility for something like forgetting to call a customer back. Albert could have easily said that his suppliers were slow in getting back to him. Instead, he owned the mistake and apologized. Ladies and gentlemen, you just cant ask for more than that type of honesty.If you are looking for a good quality, honest HVAC company to take care of you, I highly recommend Essential Home Performance. They are veteran owned, and good honest people to work with!

July in Texas is not a great time for your AC to go out. Thankfully Essential Home Performance solved my problem. For each of my service calls, they were able to get someone out same day within an hour of my call, including a Saturday! The technicians were very thorough, talking me through every step, as well as showing me pictures and taking me through all my repair options. I felt the experience was based in educating me as opposed to selling me. They understood my immediate needs and worked to solve those, while also making sure I was informed about any future issues. Without hesitation Brandi got me on the schedule and Peyton was at my door within an hour or two.Peyton was very knowledgeable, professional, and proficient with his inspection.He explained to me how to keep my HVAC system clean and working at its peak capabilities.All of this for $15.99 a month and they will be back out here in the spring to prepare the cooling system for the summer.Be sure to ask about the service plans the perks alone are worth it!

I was referred to them after calling my electrician… I was trying to switch out my nest thermostat and apparently blew a fuse on my A/C unit. It was afternoon and I was sure my family and I were going to have to sweat it out in this August Texas heat for at least a day or two before someone could come by to fix it. They came by within 2 hours and reviewed both my A/C units for the service fee (already being charged for my original concern). I know this is where some customers might get annoyed by having to hear all the other “needed” work/cost. But they were well informed and explained everything for me to understand fully. I did not feel like they were pushing any service—just informing me of things overall. They were patient and kind. I opted to repair 1 out of the 3 things they noticed. They finished AND then I STILL asked questions and they were patient and clear with their explanations. I thanked them, as I know I added at least an extra 1-2 hours to their schedule that day and hoped they were headed home as it was nearing 5. I appreciate one less thing I have to worry about getting set up. After New Years Day they come and take the lights down and store them until next year. My lights have always worked and if there is any problem with a light or the timer they come right out to fix them. Pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend this company for lights for any season. In 2024 I will be using them for red white and blue lights for our 4th of July fireworks show we do every year as well.

We were first introduced to Essential Home Performance through our homeowners warranty. Albert came out, and discovered an error that the previous HVAC company made at the end of a cooling season. This means that we did not discover it until months later. I reached out to Casey and Gina at Essential, and Gina was able to have the case reassigned to them. Collin came out, and had us up and running in no time. If I could give this company more than 5 stars, I would. It was only a matter of a few days between this company evaluating what was needed and installation completed!! My new HVAC is top of the line equipment, the installation techs were personable, informative, respectful, efficient and their mothers should be proud of how nicely they cleaned up everything before they left. The thermostat for the removed system did not need to be replaced but a few hours after work was completed, I noticed some of the vents were not pushing out air colder than the room temp and called the company asking for advice/help. Albert (the owner, I later found out) called me within minutes and sent a service tech (Henry) to address my concerns within an hour. He not only diagnosed and resolved the problem quickly, he installed a new smarter thermostat that is so much easier for me to use...no additional charges. Im a small town girl where this type of service in the community is the norm but have found it is not in this fast paced one and done DFW business world.
