What great service I experienced from Dodd Heating and Cooling! It began with the Rep who set my appointment, to the speed of them sending a technician: same day, and I didn’t even have an emergency call requested!What really made it spectacular though, was my amazing tech, Brett. What an amazing and knowledgeable man! I was told that my HVAC system was unrepairable, but this man is a genius, and was able to diagnose a simple repair only was needed. Brett saved me many thousands of dollars compared to the company I had out the day before. What a Godsend he was! I just bought my house and didn’t have a lot of extra money.Please use this service, and you will be fortunate if you get Brett! He was also personable, courteous, and kind.

I have to say, it’s very scary when you have to call to get your ac fixed. We have used Dodd Air in the past. Always been a good experience. Had to call them today, they came out the same day. Bret was very professional. He diagnosed and fixes my ac very quickly. He even answered all my questions and also gave me a few tips. Very pleased with the service. I will use again, hopefully it won’t be anytime soon…..

Out experience was outstanding! Justin arrived right on time and had texted us that he was on his way. Upon arrival, Justin was polite and very personable. We were more than satisfied with his work. Very nice people. Fast service and kind words. Spending money is always rough, but Dodd made it pleasant. All the techs that came out were helpful and professional especially Nick and Terry. Jessica was helpful also. Thank you for your help. We had to communicate with the warranty company. Jessica and Terry took the time to talk to them- they didn’t have to- but they did. Highly recommend this company.

I Highly recommend this company!! When I got home last night, my house was extremely hot and I new that I had to call Dodd A/C Asap!! I trust them completely and they are very professional and always provide great service. When I called them, they had a tech call me right back and set up a time to come out. Nick arrived early the next morning on time and explained the issue I was having. He checked everything and fixed it very quickly. Nick is very polite, professional and Knowledgeable. Dodd A/C is a great company and They’re the only company I’ll use. Thank you Nick for helping me out on such short notice, your Awesome sir!!

Yesterday, Nick came out promptly and serviced our unit. This is our second time to have him be our serviceman. He was professional, efficient, and friendly. Both times we were incredibly pleased with his work.This may have been his second time, but it definitely wasn’t our second time to use Dodd Air Conditioning. We have chosen Dodd since I was a child and Mr Jerry Dodd was still with us. Fantastic service then, fantastic service now.

Them being our service provider has kept us worry-free since the inception of our engagement. I have received true and honest guidance from them, even if it impacts their revenue. They have an eye for continuous improvement of their business processes and always are looking for ways to serve their customers. Especially when they schedule a technician visit, we receive a text message and email with a picture of their team member. We love everything about them and highly recommend their services. Every time we have called them, we have received prompt and friendly responses.

I switched to Dodd AC for service and yesterday I had my main AC unit replaced inside and out. From the owner Randy who provided the quote, the service tech, and the install team, they were all very professional and knowledgeable. I feel confident that they will stand behind their company and their product. There’s no comparison to the competition that came out. While they might be a bit more expensive, the price for peace of mind is more than worth it. I highly recommend Randy and his team.Rick

We had another air company come “fix” our unit mid May. On Memorial Day, my AC unit messed up. I have 3 little ones and my house was getting hot in the Texas heat! I called the company who originally fixed it, he wouldn’t come back out to look at it. I begged him. Still nothing. I called Dodd’s air conditioning and they came out the same day I called! They sent their technician, Cody. He was very informative and quickly diagnosed the issue. He fixed my AC and went over and beyond to clean it so it would have a better performance and cool quicker. I am so impressed with this company and Cody! Their email system is also superb. They sent out an appointment email, an email when it was almost time, and even included a pic of Cody so I would know who to look for. If you need AC work, do NOT hesitate to call Dodd’s air conditioning. I’m sure all of their technicians are great, but I would ask for Cody :)

I had a thermostat die on me last Saturday. I bought a new one but it needed to be rewired. I called around and Dodd called me back quick. The tech came right out and was able to fix the wiring and help program the new thermostat. Nice work and the tech was very pleasant.

I would like to take a moment to commend Randy and his crew on a job well done. We were in the market for a whole system. Randy came in, did a thorough inspection of our home from attic to outside unit to inside units. He prepared a bid that explained ALL that he would do and the equipment to be placed along with a price (that I found could not be matched after receiving 2 other bids). He also recommended a product called an I-Wave that cleans the air as it is drawn into the return. After a month of having this product in our home, we have noticed a marked improvement for my wife who suffers from COPD (Emphysema and Asthma). The crew came in, did the job, sealed up the duct work and everything is working wonderfully. Then, after a couple of weeks Randy came by to do an inspection (GREAT customer service!). I normally do not write reviews of companies but in this case I make an exception to my rule. I would, without hesitation, recommend Dodds AC. It has been a great experience.

A/C has been out for years. Called Randy and within a week had a new unit installed. The techs dealt with the summer heat superbly, installed the unit professionally, and even went beyond the scope of the job to help me fix parts of my attic.Cant recommend Dodd enough!!

Dodd AC replaced our heating/ AC unit five months ago. Installation went great, the new system has been reliable and working great. The last couple of days weve had power reliability issues in our neighborhood with Entergy. The power would shut off and come right back on like flipping the light switch. This happened several times too many to count. The new AC outside unit has a diagnostic module that monitors voltage and other things that will shut down the compressor to protect it from damage. It shutdown due to issues with Entergy. I called for help, Randy came out in no time got the system reset and back to cooling. Randy didnt charge me even though the fault was with Entergy. He said being the unit was less than a year old he didnt feel it was right to charge us. I was ready to pay for the call out but he wouldnt have nothing to do with charging me. Now if that doesnt speak to his integrity and being helpful at his expense I dont know what would. Top notch Randy, thanks for the help.

Fast repair! The sun was going down and the outside condenser went out - the house was heating up fast. Dodd was out in 20 minutes and fixed it before it got completely dark outside. Very fair price too.

Recently, during the installation of a new Nest thermostat it became apparent one of our units was having some difficulties. Randy and his helper came out and cared for directly. Our A/C quit running. Called Dodd and within an hour they were here trouble shooting. Found a fried circuit board and a bad thermostat. A quick trip to their shop for the parts, and they got the Air running, which is required to live in Southeast Texas. Contracted for their service contract, so no more worries.
