Update: Honestly, Alex and Nema are great guys that I didn’t think I’d have to call back 3 weeks after my first review. Unfortunately, my 16 year old compressor for our upstairs unit decided to rapidly disassemble itself on a Friday evening. I immediately messaged Cool Time and Alex got back to me right away saying he would come take a look the next day. He quickly came out and noted that the compressor had, in-fact, arced and gotten extra crispy. He was out the following Monday with a fair price and a replacement on an American Standard 2 stage system. He took the time to explain all my options before hand and wasn’t pushy about any particular solution. I will (hopefully not in the next two weeks) be calling Alex and team back for any of my future AC needs.Alex with cool time HVAC did an amazing job installing a mini split in my garage. I’ve been using it for weeks now for my garage gym and it’s been amazing being able to work out in comfort. Alex and team were very communicative and quick with the install despite it pouring down rain in Leander in July. Id highly recommend him and his team for any of my future HVAC needs

Alex came out same day and replaced 1 part (heat exchanger) in our furnace, With his knowledge and educating us, he saved us from replacing the entire furnace unnecessarily as others had recommended. And consequently, thousands of dollars. He also noted that the special features we had paid for in our furnace weren’t even set up, so he’ll be back out to fix that, saving more money! Great guy, great service!

Cant say enough good things about Nima the technician and this company. Others wanted me to get a new $6000 furnace but these guys replaced the gas valve and cleaned up some contacts and got me heat again for a very very reasonable price Please give them a call with you heat and AC needs

Did a full service that fixed a leak in my system, replaced an old thermostat with a new smart version, filters, I arranged to have regular service calls and have been pleasantly surprised with the resulting dip in my PEC bill and performance of my system .Everything was explained to me by Mr. Watson with a great deal of transparency which I found very reassuring. Alex and his team provided me with what I consider to be the highest level of customer service at a very fair price (rare these days) They even did an excellent job cleaning up at the end and were very courteous of my home throughout the whole process.I couldn’t be more pleased with the whole experience.The fact that they are family owned and from Leander makes it even better!Help support your local businesses and give Cool Time a call for all your HVAC needs you won’t be disappointed.Thank you!

I’ve been using Cool Time for a few years now and it’s always been a great experience. Alex is a great guy who goes above and beyond for the job. Over the last few years he’s ripped and replaced a whole AC system and has worked on other units of mine. Alex always shows up on time, keeps me updated throughout the day, and works late if he needs to. I wouldn’t look anywhere else!!

Alex performed a thorough evaluation of my A/C problem, the unit had a very low level of coolant. Alex and his helper checked both the cooling unit and the compressor for coolant leaks. Since no leaks were found we agreed to refill the coolant and see if this system would return to effective cooling. It’s been almost three weeks and the system is running fine. I would recommend Alex’s A/C services to anyone needing repair and maintenance work. He operates a Very good and honest service company.

Nima visited our house same day for an intermittent AC problem. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a clogged drain and performed additional maintenance actions to prolong unit life. The charges were also reasonable. I will use Cool Time again in the future.

Alex did such a great job fixing up the install on my mini-split (which another contractor had left incomplete and leaking) that I had him upgrade my main HVAC as well -- adding a dehumidifier, electrostatic filter, and UV light. Alex took the time to explain all the options available, provided literature on the products he offered, and answered all of my questions without any high-pressure sales tactics. As I observed him working I immediately knew he was someone who paid attention to detail and did thing the right way, not the fast way. Highly recommended and will use again without question.
