I have used Cool Tech Air-Conditioning & Heating for many years, for 2 different houses. After moving to another home outside of Arlington, I continued to use them because they have always done a great job for me. One of the main things I like about them is their stability. From their owner, Jon, to all of their technicians, they’ve all been there for several years. When workers don’t move around, and stay with the same company for several years, I think that’s a great sign that you’ve found a good company. All of their employees seem to be top-notch people and are great at what they do. When you find a service company you can trust, you have indeed found something special. I highly recommend Cool Tech for your heating and air conditioning needs!

Cool Tech Mechanical has been tremendous with there support and knowledge. When I first called Cool tech 2 years ago it was after haveing 3 different local HVAC companies come out to diagnosis an issue I was having. 1 issue but 3 diffrent diagnosis all saying a new $20,000 unit was needed. But due to electronic componet shortage new units were back ordered. I called Cool Tech to come out and quote me on a new unit. The owner said they would come out and check the system and see what issue I was having. I was expecting to be buying a new unit. the Tech went right to the thermostat and diagnosed that as being the issue.$ 100 to fix an issue that 3 others said was a going to be a whole new A/C unit.I didnt have to buy a unit then but that day will come,and when it does Cool Tech will be my only choice

Called at 5:45 on a Tuesday afternoon when my AC stopped working. Ben was at my door in about an hour and had it diagnosed in a few minutes. We needed a part and he said he would get an estimate to me in the morning… 8:06am I had the estimate and approved the work and Ben was back in an hour or so. He had the parts needed, quickly got them installed, cleaned parts of my AC that had not been cleaned in a while… and checked to make sure it was working properly. I was impressed so I signed up for their maintenance program and scheduled the Winter check up. Cold air today and trouble free warm air in a month or so when we cool off. I absolutely recommend Cool Tech Mechanical and look forward to maintenance visits and trouble free AC and heat!

Cool Tech Mechanical provided excellent customer service. Good communication in timing of service, the technician, Ben S., answered all of my questions and he was honest. A neighbor who has used Cool Tech for years recommended that I call them after another company told me that I needed to buy a $31,000 unit because the industry was moving to a new coolant! I highly recommend Cool Tech and will be calling them again to service my unit.

Then promptly went outside and worked on my unit without further ado. When I next saw him, he came in, told me what he had done, did some checking of the inside unit and I could tell it was cooling. It was fantastic and I am so thankful, he did not have to keep coming back to see if it was working correctly. He was assured it was and so was I. Gave us an honest evaluation and good price. We got a new Heater and AC, replacing a 30 year old system. Apparently there was an issue with installation and we had to call an emergency service through another company. Cool Tech paid the bill for the emergency service and came back to make sure the issue was resolved at no additional fee. I find them very trust worthy and reliable. We would highly recommend them and will be calling them if we need anything else.

A few days ago, the AC began short cycling, and I knew it was time to get a technician in to check the system. Cool Tech Mechanical dispatched a technician straight away. After speaking to the customer associate, my tech was here in only a few hours. The technician, Ben, was so personable and professional (even our dog enjoyed his company). Cool Tech installed my new ac system 5 years ago. Yesterday the ac stopped blowing cold so I called and left a voice message since they are closed on Sundays. Cool Tech Mechanical did an outstanding job getting my A/C fixed. I was out of town for a few days and came home to a 90-degree house, so I called an emergency service since it was after hours. I ended up needing to replace the whole system, but the only options they gave me were extremely expensive and included a lot of upgraded add-ons that I didnt want or need. I called Cool Tech for a second opinion, and Jon was able to schedule me in for that day and gave me an offer that was way more reasonable than the other guys for comparable equipment and an even better warranty. He actually asked questions about my usage, listened, explained things in a way that I understood, and tailored his recommendation to fit my needs, rather than just trying to sell me the most expensive option. I saved (literally) thousands of dollars by not being forced to pay for extras I didnt want and outrageous markups from a big-name company. The installers came right on time the next day, were respectful, and left the house clean. Everything is working great and Im so happy I called! I will never call anyone else for A/C again. Id recommend Cool Tech to anyone!

We called them about our Trane furnace not working. Thermostat was showing error codes. They were able to come out the same day. Furnace started working prior to tech showing up. First tech left without checking on why system was throwing codes. Furnace went out again later that evening. I called their after hours and received a call back. Cody was apologetic and stated a tech would come out first thing Saturday. Ben came out Saturday and I could tell he was experienced. He was able to troubleshoot the problem and get us up and running again. I would use them again for our HVAC needs, even with first initial hiccups.

I just wanted to take a moment to compliment your crew. They arrived at my house about 1:00 on Friday, and immediately went to work. I have been employed in the service industry for over 40 years at every level from field technician to Vice President of Operations for a Global level company. If anybody knows what great customer service is and isnt, I do. Your installation crew was professional, courteous, and respectful of myself and my home. I am amazed that they replaced the entire system including new copper lines and new cabling in four and a half hours. David showed up just as they were finishing up and checked the charge and system operation, and even assisted me in getting the new Ecobee thermostat on my network. At 5:30 everyone was gone, everything cleaned up and the system humming along. I know everyone is quick to point out shortcomings, and usually not so quick to point out a terrific job, so I wanted to let you know that these guys are to be commended for doing a superlative job. These guys are the best! My 31 year old condenser unit went out and I needed it replaced asap. I emailed Cool Tech Mechanical AFTER HOURS and they emailed me back quickly! Not only did they come out the next day to inspect my issue, they were able to replace it the day after the inspection!It only took the guys 2.5 hours to replace my condenser unit and HVAC unit in the attic! Also, I compared their price to 3 other companies and they not only had the best price but selection as well. Jon was very helpful and knowledgeable about his stuff! I highly recommend these guys!

Detailed analysis of the issue with my zoned AC/heat pump, single unit for a two story house.. Damper system in the attic vents was not working properly. All new ducting (better insulation) and new dual dampers. Air distribution is much better, although still not ideal. I was told that there were limits to what could be accomplished due to the limitation imposed by the original design and existing in wall ducting.About a month after the initial installation, the crew came back out to reroute the attic ducting to the downstairs ducts. The change produced a distinct improvement to airflow to the first floor of the house. There was no charge for this corrective maintenance.The crew that did the work was very professional and courteous.UPDATE: Dec 3 2016:I am happy with the lower electrical bills that I have since the work was done to improve the airflow from the zoned AC system. Cool Tech are experts in this area - most companies wont even come out when you say that you have a zoned system.

Cool Tech installed 2 new high efficency units in our house approximately 2 months ago and we couldnt be happier. Prior to the install, Jon answered all my questions (hundreds of them) with extraordinary patience, thoroughness and professionalism. His responses were always timely and knowledgeable. By the time we were ready for the install, I had no doubt it would be smooth as silk. (And it was). The install team was quick and when they were finished, it was cleaner than when they started! My wife did not even believe they had been here! After 6 weeks or so, the HVAC system is performing just the way that Jon said it would. With the variable speed technology, we couldnt be more comfortable & it is so quiet you dont even know anything is operating. The work crew even covered up my expensive carpet on the floor and stairs to make sure dirt or loose insulation didnt remain when they left as I have a toddler who loves to pick up interesting things off the floor.
