Very efficient. Office scheduling is quick and if any conflicts arise rescheduling is just as easy. Before arrival you get a pic and name of service person. I really that added security measure!!!! Worth it for that. Good quality work and staff double bonus!

As a homeowner, you should be looking for a company like Centex. I highly recommend their bi-annual checkups. Especially in TX, A/Cs get beat to H-E-double hockey sticks.We started with Centex when we moved out here several years ago. Ive had zero problems with them. We have two golden retrievers and both parties (Centex and us) agree that it causes havoc on our A/C. Perks of a being a dog owner. However, when it comes to addressing hair build up or typical check ups, Centex has been pleasant to work with.If youre a dog owner, I highly recommend the Reme Halo they offer. Its a bit spendy but the air quality is a huge difference. Its one of those, spend the money now, to save you in the long run situations. Saving you from sneezing your eyeballs out. A UV device like this also allows you to run smaller MERV rated filters, which means cheaper filters and you avoid the filter being crushed!If youve made it this far, pat yourself on the back. But more importantly, seriously reach out to Centex. I dont have a horse in their race but can respect and appreciate a business of their aptitude. Give them a call

This company is the absolute best. Isaac came quickly when our HVAC sprung a leak, and he talked us through our options with honesty and our best interest at heart. We chose to fully replace our 16-year-old system whose coil looked like Chernobyl.The owner of the company came pronto and offered us recommendations for new equipment with plenty of financing options. We never once got that slimy salesman feel. He installed two portable AC units in our windows to keep us cool for the week wait until installation.On installation day, we were told the guys would arrive around 8AM and be done around 1PM. Iban and Julian arrived precisely at 8 and were done exactly at 1. They were very friendly, polite, and both spoke English very well. They answered all of our questions and were cheerful as they worked--they clearly knew what they were doing and hooked everything up to our existing Nest thermostats and installed extra QUAD ionizing equipment like it was as easy as making Pop-Tarts.Overall, were extremely impressed with every part of Centexs business and so glad we chose them. Cant recommend them highly enough!---UPDATE: Within days after the install, the owner of the company, Gene, came out to inspect the system and ensure everything was done properly. It was!So appreciate the extra time he spent. The peace of mind is priceless. Thanks again, guys!

Cen Tex responded to our AC situation promptly. They were very communicative with text messages about arrival times of the technician. They accommodated my schedule. Gustavo was professional and polite, respectful of the home and surroundings. It took him a while to diagnose the problem; he was on the phone with tech support, etc. He tried a couple of different solutions before narrowing down the primary issue. This is the second time in two years that weve had the same problem with this system. I cant really blame that on CenTex, though they have serviced it both times. At least the part was under warranty which off set some of the huge expense, which is the benefit of using the same provider. But Gustavo was very patient and professional and explained his findings to us.

Our technician found the problem within 30-45 minutes. Ordered necessary parts, repaired what could be done without replacement parts and simply explained the problems. Upon return with parts, he installed, presented invoice and was off. Tommy was extremely polite, explained everything with photos to show the damage. My only complaint is the office sends an invoice that doesn’t break down parts and labor. The company is quick to respond to a service call, quick to get a technician out and gives several options on repairs and warranty. A bit high but you get quality service from Centex Mechanical.

Daryl from CenTex came out and helped me identify what was wrong quickly and within 30 minutes had an entire plan laid out on how to get us up and running as quick as possible. The dispatcher sent Dayrl out that afternoon and he checked it out while taking his time to make sure what he needed to repair it was actual what he needed. He gave many options, and I picked the one I felt best for us. The next day the dispatcher called and wanted to know when the best time was to come out and install the parts. That afternoon we had heat and at a reasonable price to in clued a Maintenace plan for the AC unit and the heating system.Now on 25 May 2022 we followed up with the Maintenace plan we purchased during our repair of the heater in the winter. Michael B came out by appointment and checked out our AC systems and made a couple of adjustments to give our system a clean bill of health. Friendly and professional service is what we got, and we will be getting a checkup in the fall for the heating system as well. Thank you, Michael B, and thank you Centex Mechanical Air & Heat.

Ive used this company over ten years now and I highly recommend them for service calls to fix whatever was wrong/broken and at a fair price. They are proficient, polite, honest and trust worthy. Today I had my 24 year old system replaced with a new installation of heat-pump system. My install team were Iban, Julian and Terrick. This team worked so well together, like a well oiled machine. Service was good; quality of product not so great since 13 month old unit had faulty wiring that had to be replaced: warranty on parts $100 paid, service wasnt and I think should have been. If the wiring was not a quality product the company should get it replaced by the manufacturer not charge the customer that paid a pretty price for the unit. I liked all the sales and service people; i wish products were were better.

The technician was prompt and courteous and easily repaired the damage I caused. Did you know that when youre installing a new thermostat you have to turn off not only the main HVAC breaker, but also the one feeding the air handler in the attic (or closet)? I do now! Apparently it provides a small amount of power to the thermostat, and if you leave it on you can cause a short. He certainly had an opportunity to be condescending but was tactful and professional instead. Highly recommend!

My wife and I shopped around a good bit looking for estimates to replace the two 17 year old HVAC systems in our home. Although three of the quotes we got were very close in price, we kept coming back to Centex Mechanical as they seemed very well established, professional, and easy to discuss the project with. When we did make the decision to move ahead with them, they scheduled the job to be completed in one day (temps hovering around 100), brought a large crew out, dealt with an unexpected heavy rain shower, and did precisely what they said theyd do. Every person we dealt with throughout the process was helpful and friendly. Iban C stayed with the rest of the crew until the job was completed in the late evening, and very patiently took the time to show us how to use the new system before departing. We remain very happy with the overall experience, and will not hesitate to work with them again.
