My go-to when I need help with my 20 year old units. My downstairs furnace wasn’t working two days before Christmas and Dave came out the next morning and found a wire that wasn’t connected to the circuit board and got the heat running for us. I know it will need to be replaced eventually but this company is honest and I trust them with all repairs. When I do need to replace my units I’ll give them a call. Glad to work with them.

We had excellent experience with Betz. We combined 2 systems that were 25 years old into one bigger and much more efficient system. We added heat pumps for efficient heating and cooling. That saved us 30-40% over having to replace 2 systems. We had bids from Costco (Crawford services) that were double the price. This is that small business you search for on google that has it all…excellent service, quality, and pricing. Skip the up-sellers from TV and go with Betz for all your heating and cooling needs.Update on 1/25/24 after the big freeze:Just wanted to let you know that dual zone high efficiency heat pump setup they put in was awesome during that big freeze. Never had to switch to propane and worked like a champ! No big difference in electric bill either. Seems like a viable option for folks to consolidate and upgrade HVAC units. Still extremely happy with our purchase!

Kevin came over today and took care of us. There was a gap between the blower and the ductwork. He just used the proper tape to seal the gap, checked all the wiring, checked the filters, and checked the blower fan to see if it needed lubricant (which it didnt). We got a clean bill of health. Good feeling to know that Betz Heating & Air is not here to try to sell us a new system each time they visit. Kevin called in advance of arriving and arrived when he said he would.

Betz Heating and AC are the BEST. We moved and had our house on the market for 3 months. During this time we had several issues with our AC. Every time we called Dave Betz handle the issue most often same day. We ended up having to replace our 5 ton AC with a new complete system. I wouldn’t consider myself high maintenance, except for when it comes to air conditioning. My family, like most Texans, like to run it really cold and really hard in the summer…so everything always has to work at optimum performance. This is because even with the slightest change in temperature, where it goes from a reasonable temperature of 68 to to an unacceptable level of 76, we risk an all out war amongst the inhabitants of my home:) Betz knows this about me and has always made me feel like a VIP, even though I know it’s probably ridiculous. I am on one of their maintenance plans where they come and do routine check ups, even when there’s nothing wrong. In the event that anything ever happens, they make sure to get to me as quickly as they possibly can. They are super friendly and accommodating, and I would not trust my business with anyone else. I consider my relationship with Betz air conditioning company one of the most important assets in my personal life. They are literally saving lives…. Hahaha.

The integrity and transparency as well as promptness for customer concerns based on urgency is amazing. Well it finally happened and the 15 year old HVAC went out. We reached out to Dave on advice about new unit options, and about maker the jump from traditional cooling to heat pumps. My wife and I had a million questions and Dave patiently fields these for weeks. End result is the installation new Trane 18i variable speed unit with new ducts and baffling for a second zone. The smell has disappeared overnight, but he still gave our central air and ductwork an inspection. From the initial conversation with Amie (co-owner), who is super friendly and helpful, to dealing with Dave (co-owner) and Kevin throughout the assessment, estimate and work completion, they have been courteous, helpful, professional and responsive. We talked to numerous HVAC companies to review our issues and got different responses from many, including some who just flaked entirely. Betz reviewed our situation, discussed the options and impact they would have. They answered our questions patiently, included repeated callbacks because we were a bit insecure after our experiences with other companies. They did the work during the summer in our hot attic when some other companies said we had to wait until the Fall (at which point the A/C issue would not have been as serious). They gave us options when one of the ducts was not fully reachable to replace. They came back to adjust the dampers after replacing one of our A/C units. They responded to more calls with questions as things came up that we wondered about. And now finally as the weather cooled over the last couple of nights and the heat didnt kick on as expected, they responded to my text and came to our house on a Sunday morning to fix it. We had a brand new home system in which a part went out that was still in warranty (that should have lasted 15 years). But because it was one month past the 2 year service warranty with the builder, they did not grant the repair for free. A different company is who originally installed the HVAC system.Dave worked on locating the part needed for our AC unit, had it shipped to them and then we got promptly placed on the schedule for the install. We have also had regular maintenance performed by them, and the original service call to diagnose our issue. Every interaction has been great, and they really care about their customers. Amy always answers the phone and is very caring and understanding, and really wants to help to solve the problem at hand. Would 100% recommend.

Kevin arrived in the time window given and called to say he was on the way. This kind of courtesy is highly appreciated and allowed us to prepare for his arrival. We explained the situation to him and he surmised that the problem was likely within the inside units. After eliminating the possibility of low freon, defective compressors etc on the outside units, he concentrated on the two units in the attic. Our attic is tight but he was able to check both units and discovered two burned out parts. He photographed them to show us and then asked if wed like a quote. It took about 20 minutes to get the quote and we felt the price was fair so we proceeded with the repair. It took Kevin about 30 minutes to retrieve the new parts and perhaps another 20 minutes to install and test the system. We noticed that the air was once again blowing cool and the thermostat was coming down to the set temperature. Kevin had targeted the problem precisely and after a week or so it is still working great. Not only will we use Betz Heating and Air in the future but we have already started to refer friends and family to this company. Thanks again Kevin and Amy!!! 5 Stars out of 5 !!!
