Wow! Such a great experience all around from ACE company. The 2 different techs that have been out to our home were kind, patient, honest, answered all of my questions, and were ready to educate and offer tips on how to improve our air conditioning/heater system. They take pictures of the things that need to be repaired to show to their customers, too. This is EXACTLY what I want when receiving service from any company. A.C.E. was not our original, intended option for the task of upgrading our AC/heater system on an older house (built 2003) which we bought 3 years ago. But, and maybe I should just put it out there more definitively, “but God” led us to find 3 quotes, this company being accidentally (?) called when intending to call another one that was recommended to us by my wife’s employer that have lived in the area for decades! The office staff at A.C.E. seems capable of actual customer service, and Josh has a strong grip on everything going on with his company, which we have been impressed with from him, in-person, giving us the original quote, and graciously answering my many (too many?) questions. The 2 installers were very work-focused, but also capable of explaining what they were doing or needed access to, etc. Lastly, I was impressed with the fact that the company sent out an inspector, which after a long day it’s probably a good idea to have a fresh set of eyes analyzing the completed work to uncover any possible mistakes or deficiencies. Thank you, Ray & Edgar & Zachary! In the end, and only a day later, I have been comfortable setting the house temp to 70 instead of 72 with a belief this system is going to prove to run more efficiently as well as be more cost-effective (our daughters home from college will be trying to encourage “mom & dad” to run it even colder down at 67-ish but I don’t know about that yet. Financing options also seemed more agreeable to us than what the other 2 companies were offering. If you’re in the Greater Houston area, especially in the Cypress area from Katy to Tomball to Huntsville beyond where we live in Montgomery and you need service, give these guys a call. Highly recommended!

I called this morning and they came out the same day for what I thought was a leak coming from my ducts and causing mildew /mold. The issue turned out not to be related to the air conditioning but they helped me identify the source and offer solutions to fix it. Jesus was very helpful and friendly. James was fantastic, they all are American Comfort Experts. Ive been using them for years. i just recently had a contact go out in my condenser and they replaced it without gauging you. If you want a straight up HVAC company that is honest and doesnt try to get you to buy a whole new system like John Moore use these guys. Highly Recommended.

I cant thank this company enough. I had so many other companies give us the run around, over-priced, never called back. Kristie helped me out in so many ways! Jesus came out that day; told us the issue, got the part ordered and came back early the next day to get it fixed! He was wonderful! Super sweet and helpful. My A/C went out and was not working. I came home and it was later in the evening. I ended up doing google and Yelp review and saw they had awesome reviews. I ended up calling them and was told I’d have a tech to my home within a couple of hours. Within 2 hours a tech came out to my home he was very knowledgeable and very professional and gave superb customer service. He was able to diagnose the issue and then gave me the quote for the repair. The quote was honest and fair and I did not feel I was being taken advantage since we are having this heat wave. He then went over a maintenance plan to where I can have my system checked twice a year. I was really impressed with the professionalism and customer service. I also decided to sign up for this service for additional cost. I’m very glad I called ACE and look forward to using them in the future for my AC/Heating needs if needed.

Of all the days, Fathers Day and a Sunday to boot and our AC went out! Gave American Comfort Experts a call and they said they could come out, but being one of the hottest days so far this year, that it would be between 8 to 10 PM before they could get there. Zack got here at 7PM and quickly diagnosed the issue and had us up and running in no time. Not only was Zack in a great mood, he was professional and courteous for a such a hot Sunday night and the best thing, besides getting the AC going, was the bill was very reasonable, for after hours and being a Fathers Day weekend!!! These guys are the best. When our AC went out in the middle of the night on a Friday, was concerned that it would take a while to get serviced. Not only did they answer at 7 am, but they were on site by 10:00 that same morning. We found that we needed a new compressor and that it was time for a replacement system. Again, ACE exceeded my expectations. Not only did they get a new system installed so quickly, they also worked with us on financing. The installation crew was great. They were very conscientious about keeping things clean and considerate about being quiet during my conference calls for work. Josh not only explained all of the options, the financing, and the process, but he wasn’t happy until he was able to inspect the installation and made sure we were running correctly. I felt so comfortable with these guys in the house. They arrive on time (or even early), are courteous and kind, and really do feel like great friends (who really know what they are doing)! Thank you for making a bad situation into such a positive experience.

Jesus has completed the repair and inspection of our system several times and he has gone above and beyond to ensure All the work he completed was explained in detail and all future issues and work to be performed was presented. My forever AC and Heating company!During the 2024 Early January freeze, they had a technician on site After a very short notice request, and they fix the heater problem, And performed maintenance on site to ensure the heater was good for the rest of the winter! I cant say enough wonderful things about Doug and his team. At 9pm the night before the freeze our upstairs heating system stopped working. With family visiting for Christmas and temperatures expected to be below freezing for several days, I was in a trouble. Doug called me back despite the late hour and made room on his schedule to get us taken care of. The pricing was fantastic for a regular service call let alone an after hours call. The tech arrived first thing in the morning and was able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly (had parts needed in his truck). We will definitely be using American Comfort Experts from now on.

ACE came out when I had an open option period on the house I put in an offer on to check on things that came back on inspection. They were very professional and knowledgeable, and I ended up having them come back to do the repairs from the inspection after I closed. When I had a clogged drain pipe that was backing up in the drain pain in my attic, they were very prompt in getting someone out here within a matter of hours. Very polite, helpful, and accommodating. I’m very pleased with the services they’ve provided and the price point given and look forward to continuing to use the for future maintenance issues.

Our first tech was not a good experience and came for a routine checkup where we had no complaints and all was working fine to, same day, our main unit being totally down with repairs of $900 and mounting quoted. We were told our main unit would remain down for 3-4 days at best. All in all, pretty bad experience.On the plus side, we called the service manager who went into fix-it mode immediately. He sent a more experienced tech the very next day who repaired our main unit immediately and without additional charge. He then proceeded to optimize the other units... and removed a snake on our back patio while he was here to keep our family safe. Above and beyond.Main point is that bad customer experiences can happen from time to time. But it’s all in how a company remedies the situation that builds a lasting and trusted partnership. We appreciate how quickly and adequately our initial experience was handled... and corrected.

I was getting ready to leave town (in the heat of a hot Houston summer) to attend a class reunion but the night before my air conditioner stopped cooling -- nothing was working but the fan! A neighbor highly recommended American Comfort Experts because they had worked with her in an emergency situation and even followed up with her afterwards. A technician was sent out right away and after his evaluation, sat down with me and explained everything precisely, answering ALL my questions/concerns! They quickly had a new unit delivered and running within hours!! These guys KNOW what they are doing - truly EXPERTS and dependable and yes, they DO follow-up! Since then, I have purchased a Comfort Club Annual Maintenance and it has more than paid for itself. These guys come out twice a year to check my heating unit prior to cold weather and all of the air conditioning system prior to our HOT summers. And I mean they go over the systems thoroughly! Yesterday, Am. Comfort found a stopped up drain which had to be flushed out which included some plumbing work to complete the job!! All covered under this maintenance plan, I didnt have to call a plumber like some companies will make you do. There are other good stories to tell but this post is getting long. I have a 5 year old 4 ton Lennox in my cypress home that the evaporator coil went bad. I had contacted the builder contractor who came out and diagnosed the bad coil. Added a couple pounds of refrigerant and then I discover that the Lennox coil (under warranty) was on back order until 2022. It’s the end of august and 97 degrees. That doesn’t work. So I decided to forgo the warranty. What good is a warranty if you can’t get the part in a timely manner.I contacted American Comfort Experts and was wowed from start to finish. Christy was helpful knowledgeable and Promptly dispatched a tech for the next morning. Josh came out and provided me with 3 options, they offered there brand coil which was carrier made (Patriot) and insured me that they could make the transition to a Lennox system no problem. They also offered me upgrade options at my request.I had his quote within minutes of departing. I made a decision within a couple of hours of just replacing the coil and at 8am the following morning they were at my home to install the unit. Beautiful Work, josh (Svc manager) came back out as they were completing the job for a final inspection.Impressive, the owner Doug had the forsite to have ordered for stock the 4 ton coils in March making all this possible! What a team I highly recommend that if your needing some AC work don’t hesitate to contact this company. Awesome job guys!

Update 2018: Edgar was our technician and one of the best we have had. Professional and thorough. I have been using ACE for a few years now and I think they are one of the best in town.Our AC went out around 6:00pm. I tried calling the person I usually use and he bailed on me. I searched the internet and called 3 other companies, all of which sounded shady or that I was bothering them. I googled ACE and gave them a call. Extremely professional and helpful. I told them all of the trouble-shooting steps I took and Derek said he could have a tech out between 7:00-9:00pm. At about 7:05 he called and said Jean would be there in 10 minutes. Jean showed up in 10 minutes and had my unit running in about 45 minutes. He did a thorough check of my system, told what needed to be done, gave me a very clear scope of work and cost and then some general guidance. I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of. I am usually hyper-defensive, especially for a premium service call at 7:00pm. Jean was professional, knowledgable, and genuinely wanted to fix the problem. I felt like I was getting service, not a sales call. That went a long way with me. Through talking, I came to find out this is a local company and not a national chain. That is also very important to me. Its always a toss-up when you call contractors and I got super lucky with ACE. Highly recommend. They will be doing all of my service and maintenance needs and I highly recommend this company to anyone. Ask for Jean. That gentleman is spot-on.

These guys are the BEST! They have been looking after our Carrier package unit (AC and Propane Heat) at our rural farm at the edge of their service area for about 8 years. We have had a lot of issues with this unit, everything from faulty mother boards to rusted heat exchangers and burners etc. to the point where I feel guilty about calling them when our system breaks. BUT they always come out quickly and do whatever it takes to get us up and running. Doug has given me his speech about how our unit is unsuitable for the kind of installation we have (more than once) but will always bend over backwards to get our problem(s) fixed. One day we will make him happy and purchase a new heat pump unit from him but then we would probably not see him or his crew again and that would make us sad!!

Monday the unit was not working again, I didnt bother calling the other tech back, he had come to clean it turned it off because it wasnt working and dishonestly told me it had only been 50 minutes when it had in fact been 5 hours. After explaining everything to Nick, I told him I could wait to see how it did overnight, Tuesday evening it stil wasnt working, so I called back and he was here in about an hour. It took him under an hour to fix it, then he looked at the entire system and showed me an air filter I never knew was up there (8 years!). He also told me how to maintain the system. 8/11/18 updates - ACE team worked with our schedule to get the entire ÁC systems installed over the weekend with no additional after hour charges! Our ÁC went out Friday afternoon, Derrick scheduled appt so technician Peter can meet at our house the same time when I come home. Peter stayed close to 9pm try to cool down the overheated compressor. Before he left, he shut down the power to the compressor to ensure our safety and ACE arranged another technician Nick to come on Saturday to continue the work. Nick came as early as 8am and tried to make our unit running, but due to the age of the unit, it won’t start so we have to replace the unit. Around 10am, David from ACE came and provided a reasonable quote after a thorough inspection of our system. He also ensured the new system meet the new 2020 quality standard. When I discussed concerns of not being able to taking days off during the work week, he called Doug and they were able to get the warehouse open and get the entire units out. David also installed portable ÁC at our house to keep our house cool before the installation of new unit. Early Sunday morning Alex and Ramon from ACE came and installed ÁC , compressor and furnace. David provided valuable technical advices over the phone. Alex and Ramon worked hard to keep media filter with ÁC together in a very narrow storage area. They were very professional and cleaned up the work area before leaving.Were very lucky to find ACE. Few years ago, We got home late at night (around 9:30PM) and found our A/C was not cooling. The inside temperature in the control went up to 89, and then went up to 90 after we turn off the A/C unit. The average temperature in our area at that time was only 82. It was so hot inside the house and theres burning smell. We were so scared and called many 24/7 companies listed in our community magazine, but no one was willing to come out that late to fix our A/C. Out of frustration, we googled web and found ACE. Doug answered phone immediately. After we explained the situation, he immediately scheduled his senior technician, Ryan to come to our house. Ryan called us and arrived in less than half an hour after the call. In less than 10 minutes, he was able to locate the cause of the problem - start kit went dead. He replaced it right away and we got cool air again! We were very impressed of Doug and Ryans superfast service and superior skills.I signed up for the maintenance plan and Tuan from ACE did a thorough job on annual furnace maintenance and A/C turn up. Hes very patient to respond to my questions, helped me to replace the air filters of the house. When he check the A/C He even traced down the A/C drain to the downstair bathroom and found the clogged pipe that could potentially block the A/C drain and cause water leak. I heard about the A/C drain leak issues from my friends, but have never seen any other company came to my house doing A/C tune up did this. Its very impressive that Tuan did this for us and he said ACE does that for all clients to make sure no clogged drains, and prevented water damages to the house. He also checked and cleaned condenser coil.American Comfort expert continued to provide excellent services. Today(4/13/18), Josh came to our office to do the annual check. He took step further to inspect the bathroom pipe under the sink on the 1st floor underneath the ÁC on the 2nd floor. He took them out and cleaned blocked stuff thoroughly, and went back to 2nd floor ÁC to perform treatment on the condenser coil to prevent block and water leak in the future. He also inspected and cleaned the ÁC unit outside thoroughly. Josh got our home at about 8:30 in the morning, he did not leave until after 10:30 and made sure everything is inspected and treated.Every time season changes, we received phone calls from Derrick or Lisa to remind us the annual ÁC or furnace check. They are very patient and flexible when they schedule and confirm the appt. Sometimes we even forgot when we get busy.We really appreciate ACE’s excellent service!

I am very please with American Comfort Experts in Cypress, Texas. Doug Smith the owner is very helpful. We bought a new home and we had some issues in cooling and heating certain area of our house. We didnt notice this initially since that area of the house was not used as much. After talking over this issue with Mr. Smith, he inspected the area and suggested to supporting zoning. He charged us reasonable price and make required changes. Now we have very even air flow around our house and very optimized energy efficient ac system. I highly recommend using ACE for any air conditioning or heating requirement for your home or business.

I called the company at 11am on Saturday because our air was not working. Derek answered the phone and was very professional. They gave me an estimated time frame of 4pm to 6pm. At 2:20pm Derek called and said his tech would be there in 20 minutes. Within minutes the tech, Tracy, had the problem diagnosed and repaired but he did not stop there. He continued with a FULL diagnosis of the system and found it to be in working order. I am pleased that there are great companies out there who not only look out for the consumers best interest but do it for a FAIR price. I will NEVER call another company to work on my units. Josh, our tech, just left a little while ago. He did a great job explaining everything to me and was not trying to push me to pay for stuff I didnt need. I called ACE at around 1:00 because my a/c wasnt working right and Josh was out here by 3, which was really awesome. Other places I had called said they couldnt make it out for at least a day or two, and that just wont fly in this heat.Josh figured out the problem quickly and had cold air blowing again in about an hour. He suggested a few other things that he thought might be causing a problem, but was in no way pushy trying to upsell me. The price was very reasonable and, like I said, very quick and friendly service. I will be using them again for any future heating and cooling needs, and I highly recommend them to anyone else looking for a/c repair.

American Comfort Experts (ACE) recently installed a zoning system in our home. The builder had not installed the air condition system properly and one side of the house would stay very hot during the summer time while the other side would be freezing. Once they installed the zoning system with the highest level of professionalism and integrity; the temperature in our house is now constant and consistent. In addition to their high level of service they were very reasonably priced and did not compromise on any materials that were needed to be used to complete the job.We also have contracted them to perform bi-yearly air unit checkup which I can see has already improved the life of our heating and cooling systems. I would recommend ACE to all of my friends and family for any of their heating and cooling needs.

Doug came out on a last minute service call yesterday. I was told by a different company that the fan on my outdoor unit was out, and that it would take a few days to order the part. The other company then tried to send a salesperson to my home to convince me to buy a new HVAC system for well over 10 grand. I called Doug on a recommendation from a friend and explained the situation. He came to my home within 45 minutes, diagnosed the problem (it was the fan), changed out the fan (which he says is a VERY common part — shouldn’t need to be ordered), and had the AC back on before sundown. He was honest, efficient, and courteous. DO NOT let predatory companies swindle you while you and your family sweat. We will be working with Mr. Smith and ACE in the future, when we DO need to replace our HVAC.

The perfect storm while still recovering from the flood waters of Hurricane Harvey all around Houston my wifes 92 year old mother AC quits. It was late and American Comfort Experts was called . A short time later Doug the owner showed up. Said he had been in an elderly gentlemans home earlier with the AC out and the house was hot when he arrived. He got him up and running and heard this call. His techs were busy so he headed this way. He had the parts and motor needed on his truck and got her up and running in no time. Its very hard to find this kind of customer service now days. Thank God there are still a view around like Doug and the folks at American Comfort Experts.

This company and the owner Doug saved my family from being ripped off by mr Rogers air conditioning company long story short mr Rogers showed up and checked my a/c after telling him we were flooded by hurricane Harvey and it was 90 degrees in my home and we were dying and I just needed it repaired he proceeds to tell me I need a new system and it would cost me 4000 I did not have something was fishy about this man mr Rogers so the next morning I called Doug with American comfort experts and explained to him I could not afford to pay five different service fees of 60-80 dollars to get five different quotes on different problems I needed the truth. Doug felt so bad for me he showed up himself and checks my a/c and said nothing was wrong with it and that actually mr Rogers fixed it four nights ago by replacing a low voltage wire a cheap fix he showed me how he new because that wire was new versus the others and there was wire clippings he left on the a/c unit that were recent well Mr Rogers told me he couldn’t fix it so he cut off my power to the a/c which i thought was odd we went four days without a/c and one night in a hotel and I got sick because mr Rogers lied to me. Doug did not have to fix anything because everything was working he saved our lives and really cared about my family he was so concerned with me having to pay a lot of money for a new a/c when I didn’t need too and I needed my money to rebuild my home from hurricane Harvey I owe this man everything. Finally a decent company that will not rip you off 🙏
