He was communicative via text and phone as we had questions during the evaluation.His team was professional and were able to accommodate an unusual installation due to our house being a geodesic dome.     Our air conditioner was starting to make strange noises - as if the fan was out of balance. Our neighbor recommended Carlos and Air Fix LLC. We called him, he cautioned us that if it was not making the noise he couldnt really figure out the problem.Luckily it was making noise when he came and he figured it out.     I already had Carlos fix my first A/C unit a couple of years ago which he did a great job, so when my 2nd unit went out I did not hesitate to call him again.     Fast service and fair pricing. When power was restored after Beryl at 6p on Sunday, we noticed the ac wouldn’t work. I called Carlos, he asked a couple of questions and then he was on his way to come take a look at the situation. Within a hour we had a working ac again. This was our third experience with him and all three times have been the same experience. His goal seems to be to fix the problem and not try sell you a new system. This is hard to find these days. I recommend their service 100% .

They did a great job and the price was good compared to others.11 year old upstairs a.c. went out last week and called Carlos. Lennox evap core leaking. Installed by another a.c. company. 2nd evap on system. Dont buy Lennox.Carlos could have sold me whole new system but he advised system only 11 yoa, take chance on just do evap. core. Saved us 7k. Carlos demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for my situation, which is a breath of fresh air in todays AC unit industry.I have hired Carlos 4-5 times since I moved to The Woodlands area 5 years ago. He always responded to my requests promptly and arrived on time as scheduled. One thing I really appreciate about his work is that he was not only knowledgeable but also transparent about the issues with my AC unit. He took the time to explain everything in laymans terms, ensuring I understood what needed to be done and why.When we first had an AC issue after moving in, I contacted other AC companies because they had very high positive issues when I searched on Google Maps. Two companies sent their technicians stop by after 2-3 days, none of them could figure out the problem. They simply did what I tried to troubleshoot myself and then told me I would need to spend $1k to replace a panel in the attic, and that could probably solve the problem. And both of them started advising me it would be better to replace the entire system because it was old. I asked them to leave and decided to contact AIRFIX for the last try because I read some good comments on Nextdoor about the company. Carlos contacted me within 10 minutes (it was Sunday afternoon) and then came by to troubleshoot with all gears he got, and then found out it was just a chip burned out. Cost me less than $100 bucks to fix the issue.If you have had experiences with other companies that always concluded something like you need to replace the entire system, etc., give AIRFIX a try; you wont regret it.Overall, I cant recommend AIRFIX enough. Their courteous team members, expert knowledge, and commitment to customer satisfaction have earned them a lifelong customer in me. If youre facing AC troubles, do yourself a favor and give them a call.

Not all small businesses are made the same.Strongly recommended!Mr Garza, local resident and owner of AirFix, answered immediately, came 1st thing the next morning to take care of my dead AC, found the problem and the best and most cost efficient fix, and took care of it.Others told me I had to replace the whole system, about $7,000. He found a leak, fixed it and refilled freon, noticing that the unit was in pretty good shape still. Saved me thousands!He also was the most reasonable quote I got out of 5 calls.A few weeks later my AC didn’t seem to work, all night blowing warm air.Mr. Garza called back within 15 mins. and walked me through a few things to check to rule out a big problem. The fix had to do with thermostat settings, it solved the issue and avoided a big bill. It also gave me peace of mind, and reminded me that there are still good, honest people doing business out there.If you have any AC related issue, give AirFix a call.     This is the 2nd time Ive used them, first time was for my house and now its for my parents house. My parents have a very old house so their AC system was way out of date. When they first came to my parents house, they were very open, honest and informative about what needs to be done rather than trying to cross sell us the optional services.My parents thought they were going to pay a lot more but Juan as always provided us with alternatives that saved us quite a lot in the end. In my opinion it was pretty efficient and less expensive for sure.I just want to say that Juan is truly one of the best in his fields. The products he recommends are in top quality and more importantly he installed them the right way. I personally have always been less receptive on working with contractors without family referrals. However in this case I found Carlos on the internet and he proved me wrong, and believe me when I say this, my parents are very old fashion so they always nitpicking just about everything, and they love Juan. So I would highly recommend him for sure.

    Too bad it took me until selling my house to find Airfix. Outside unit went out and had another company come out and diagnose. After trying to upsell a whole unit replacement, I still got a shock of all the parts that needed to be replaced (relay, both capacitors, compressor for $950). The guy had to order the relay and wanted to come back and fix while I was in another town moving. He also told me that if he turned it on and the parts blew, he could salvage his capacitors but had to still charge me $250 for the damaged parts. Then I would have to pay $3900 for a new outside unit. Im glad I called Airfix for a 2nd opinion. Carlos came out 20 mins after I called him. He sat there and tested the capacitors right in front of me to show that both of them were still good! Then he showed me that the compressor wasnt coming on because the high pressure switch had tripped. He reset the switch and the compressor turned right on!!! Now the fan motor wasnt turning on. So he replaced it and my upstairs unit was running again! Im so glad for honest people like Mr. Garza. I never write reviews but I had to make an exception for Airfix. If you need your HVAC serviced, trust that Airfix will be honest and straightforward with you! If I was still living in the area l, this would be my goto HVAC company.
