    My furnace stopped heating due to a pressure switch error, so I called Air Express/McWilliams for same-day service. I really appreciated their quick response, especially with the snowstorm approaching in Houston. However, the technician wasn’t able to fix the issue.He mentioned that the system is old (which I know, its a 15-year-old furnace) and suggested a few potential problems: a loose wire, a faulty pressure switch, a possible issue with the electrical board, and provided me with a quote of over $2,000 for repairs. He then recommended replacing the entire furnace, given its age, and assured me his manager would contact me with an installation price for a new system. However, after giving me the quote, he left without addressing the actual problem and charged an $80 dispatch fee.Afterward, I spent some time troubleshooting online and discovered that the real issue was a clogged condensate water trap. I cleaned it out, and the furnace started working again.I would caution anyone considering Air Express to be careful if they push for an expensive replacement or repairs without thoroughly diagnosing the problem. While I might consider them for a future furnace installation, I won’t be using them again unless they can demonstrate a more accurate diagnosis and solution next time.Again I appreciate their speedy response and service.update: after a communication with their manager, they refunded me the dispatch fee.

    We called five local plumbers during our time of need. McWilliams & Son Inc. was the only business willing to send someone out that same day to take care of our plumbing need. It was later in the day, but they went above & beyond to “show up.” Colton was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. He fixed the problem, & we were very grateful. We will use this company for a long time to come, & we highly recommend them to anyone who has heating, cooling, or plumbing needs. They will deliver!

    Im glad that I called Air Express/ McWilliams Plumbing to flush and inspect my dual water heaters located in my attic. Eric Reyes was the plumber who attended the job. Eric was very knowledgeable about his job. We discovered some corrosion in the fittings and also he pointed out the two heaters were connecting in series rather than in parallel which was the correct way. He procured the materials quickly from nearby store and connected the heaters correctly in matter of an hour. Everything was resolved very efficiently. I highly recommend Air Express/McWilliams Plumbing for future customers and especially the skills of Eric.

    I really appreciate the team who installed our new A/C system. They were very professional, courteous and diligent in making sure the system went in smoothly, professionally and to my satisfaction. Their work was exemplary of Pride in Workmanship. They demoed the old system, removed all waste, cleaned the area prior to new installation, anchored the units securely, sealed all joints, tested drains for clearance and ensured the system was properly sealed (good soldered joints, no leaks, etc.) before starting the new unit. Once the job was completed, they rechecked the work areas and made sure they were clean, orderly and acceptable for my inspection. This was a good team to work with.

    I know good service when I see it because I actually own Mercy plumbing here in Katy . When another Ac Company came out To my home and try to sell me something I did not need like a whole new unit!!! I quickly showed him the door! I called McWilliams and their technician Michael C. Was very honest and professional. Definitely would ask for this technician if I ever need anything again he was honest and fix my problem for a little bit over $300 would definitely recommend this company due to their honesty.

    My Ac unit stopped working on the coldest day of the year so far, and Pablo went above and beyond to get the issue resolved.     Eric R. with McWilliams & Son in Richmond TX recently replaced copper piping to/from the hotwater heater with Pex Type A pipe to repair a leak in the piping. The original copper piping in my 30+ year old home was installed under the foundation with penetrations through the slab. We discussed repiping the house with Pex, and spent time inspecting the piping where accessible and looking at how best to connect all the water end-users.A few days after Eric R. returned with a 2-man repipe crew from Lufkin TX, Raul D. and his nephew Eric. These three men completed the entire job in 2 days as promised. They were able to hook up one bathroom at the end of the first day so we could shower and have a toilet, which was most welcomed.My wife and I have never been more impressed and satisfied with any men that have performed work in our home. They were professional, courteous, respectful, highly skilled, and worked so diligently, putting in two 10-12 hour days. They were nice gentlemen. They engaged me prior and throughout the work to get my input on the piping drops, routing and other details. They performed a pressure test on the completed piping. No leaks, no problems, no delays. A very professional job from start to finish. I was 100% satisfied and highly recommend them. Now we have no concerns about recurring water leaks, especially why were are away from our home.

    Maybe not the cheapest in the market but they do the job right and always ready to respond and follow up. Most importantly is the honesty and fast response from all staff. Technicians are very well trained and get the job done. My service happened over the weekend with high temperatures above 100, they responded and completed everything, even on Sunday.     We came back from vacation and our AC was no longer able to cool our hose. We called other companies but chose to go with Air Express. I was surprised at how quickly they responded. Josiah Wood our consultant with Air Express was the most experienced in his field that Ive ever worked with and Im a claims manager. He took the time to explain everything to me in a way I can understand, then took the time to go over everything again with my husband. Even my dog liked him. They provided us with an ac re-charge to make the house bearable until they installed a new ac and furnace. We shopped around and they were very affordable for the quality unit purchased. The installation crew was larger than expected which helped the installation go smoothly and quickly. They were very careful to lay drop cloths to help contain the debris in the house. And the follow up after the installation with Josiah was great. I recommend using this company. Great experience!

    I have used other AC companies in the past for my unit but nothing even comes close to how incredible this company operates.     Air Express has the right, hard working and very competent people working for them. Justin was super knowledgeable (superb) and very engaged with his customers, responds to questions and concerns precisely, and backs his claims with facts, pictures and videos of work hes done in the house. On the initial quote appointment, he did not leave until we were satisfied with all the answers he gave to our questions.He thoroughly cleaned our 2 air condition/heater units and installed UV lights to remove mold and to prevent build up in the future.     Great company!! I’ve used them for several years now and have always been pleased with the service. They kept my old AC unit running until finally it crapped out and then we replaced it. We had to repair it so often I think I’ve met all the technicians at Air Express. Justin, Sam, Agustin, and Jorge all were experts at diagnosing the issues and then gave me all my options each time and educated me on what the best route was given the condition my system was in. When the time came to replace they took the time to give me all my options and recommended the single stage high efficiency system that is saving me money on my light bill and keeping my home very comfortable!     I have been a customer for over 15 years and I continue to call them for every AC and heating issue for every residence I’ve had. Recently it was time for a full system replacement (existing equipment was over 30 years old and I didn’t really want to invest any money into it with parts.) Justin showed me all the options and explained them well. He was not pushy and was completely professional. I took advantage of their great financing option and warranty. Then the next morning Jaime and Chase arrived to install the new system. They worked cleanly, quietly, and nonstop for 9 hours until it was finished.     We had Air Express install our Reme Halo air purification system 5 years ago and we absolutely love it!! The house smells so fresh and we all feel so much better breathing the clean air in our home! More recently we used them to install a new high efficiency two stage AC and heater in our home when our compressor went out. The installers did such a great job!     Josiah came out to price a new system for us. What impressed us the most is the time he took to understand the specific type of system design that would best serve us over the years. Many other contractors have simply priced the cheapest equipment or duplicated the design we have currently (which has some design flaws). After deciding to wait on replacement for now, due to budget concerns, we had Josiah back out to do a complete inspection, servicing, and maintenance of the system. He took the time to thoroughly explain all of the things he was testing, their impact on the life of the system, and which items should be addressed sooner and which items could wait.It speaks volumes about the integrity of a person and a business when they are honest about the things that dont need to be done, rather than trying to convince you that they do. In most cases the customer doesnt have the knowledge to know what really needs to be done and what will just add to the profit for the contractor. I appreciate when a company is honest enough to say, No, this really could wait or No, theres nothing wrong with the amount of coolant in your system. Things like that build trust. Being able to trust a contractor to tell me the truth, even when they can benefit from bending it, is the single most important thing to me when deciding to hire them. In the integrity department, Josiah and Air Express pass with flying colors!Overall, this was a great experience. As busy as I am, I dont often take the time to leave reviews. However, I felt that this company has gone above and beyond my expectations and they certainly have earned the time it takes to write this review, not to mention my business in the future.     Air Express truly is the best HVAC company around. We have been using Air Express since 2018. Josiah was the first technician sent to us (back when he was a technician) and we were sold on this company. His knowledge in the field and the time he put into every job whether it be cleaning units or replacing parts was something we have never witnessed before. He went above and beyond, and I am convinced companies we used prior to Air Express didn’t clean our units when they were being paid to after seeing Josiah work. This truly is his passion and I feel like he takes care of clients the same way he would his own family. We are so impressed with every technician that works for Air Express and commend the company for hiring and training the best in the business. My parents use them as well off our recommendation and have also said they have never seen a company that has the kindest, most professional and knowledgeable employees. It is hard to write reviews about a company when you feel like you hit the jackpot by finding them and want to keep it a secret, but Air Express deserves recognition for the outstanding business they have created.

    Air Express has taken excellent care of my entire family for years. They are professional, trustworthy, polite, and fast. They’re not the cheapest in town, and frankly I prefer that.     I cannot tell you how pleased we are with Air Express. Their technicians are knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. We had our 3 year old air conditioner stop working suddenly. Air Express came the next day, diagnosed the problem, dealt with the A/C Manufacturer, and ensured that we could get the items replaced because they were still under warranty. They did all the leg work, then we only had to pay (a very reasonable price) for them to install the new parts in the unit. We also use Air Express to do maintenance on our systems every 6 months. They are extremely thorough and never try to upsell sell us with new or different projects. I always appreciate their honesty in their work. I highly recommend this company!

    I own a childcare center and a fitness facility and have used Air Express for 8 years. We have a maintenance contract with them and use them as needed for repairs, problems, etc. This company is awesome! They usually send the same technician which I prefer because he knows our system, operating times, special needs such as napping children, etc. All the technicians are AWESOME!     I had a wonderful experience from start to finish with Air Express. All employees were respectful, knowledgeable, and worked with urgency.     I used Air Express to replace two old AC units. I met and talked with 6 separate companies before selecting Air Express. I had settled on using another company and then I spoke with Josiah. I could tell in a few minutes that he was a guy who loved what he did. He came over and spent 2.5 hours looking at all our duct work, units, and vents. He listened to me when I told him about certain rooms that did not get enough air. He built a plan to fix each issue. All the other companies told me that there was not anything to be done because that was just how the house was designed. I decided to use Josiah and Air Express. While we waited 2 weeks to get the new units installed, he came out and recharged the old system to keep us comfortable. He personally came out during the install and showed us how to use the new system. He has took the initiative to follow up every so often to make sure we are still happy. He has come up and made a few minor changes to really dial the system in. I am so happy with him and Air Express. I really cannot say enough good things about them.     I want to let everyone know about the service that I received from Air Express AC & Heat. I had my main a/c unit quit working and was given Josiahs phone number to contact. I sent him a text after 6:00PM on a Friday asking him to come take a look at it. 3 minutes later he texted back and said he would be happy to help. He came over the next day by 3:30. He inspected the a/c unit and had the part to repair it on his truck. He didnt charge me for a bunch of different parts that I didnt need, only the one to fix the problem.     I recently had terrible water damage from a A/C drain pan pipe which leaked down my wall and ceiling and caused a nightmare of damage to my master bathroom and master closet. That issue was repaired but I worried it could happen again. I called Air Express because I saw one of their service vans at an intersection near my home. I took a photo of it and called them to schedule service. They came out and promptly. Agustin, the tech carefully inspected everything in my attic that was related to my A/C pipes, drain pans , ducts, etc. He found many issues including air leaks in the ducts and found issues that no one else has ever discovered and repaired them all! He documented everything he did and emailed the invoice to me with service notes and photos. Before he left he took the time go over the invoice and explained everything he did by using the photos before the repair and after. I now have peace of mind knowing no mysterious issues will cause leaks and water damage thanks to the techs experience and efficient work. I highly recommend this company!

    We have been Air Express customers for the last 7 years. Our first experience was repairing our a/c evaporator coil at our former house, and later continued with purchasing the HVAC annual service plan for that house and now for our current house. With the service plan, Air Express will come out twice per year to perform annual maintenance - in winter months (or can schedule before) to perform furnace maintenance, and in spring/summer months for a/c maintenance.When we built our new home, there were issues with HVAC system install before closing. The builder sent their techs to fix the problem, but with it being a newly installed system, I no longer trusted the builder’s technicians had repaired/installed everything properly. I trusted our Air Express technician, Justin, so I hired AE to inspect the builder’s work, and our entire system.We are looking to install a split system in our bedroom, and possibly adding dampers to the existing system, and will be using Air Express should we choose to proceed. I trust them to do a great job.We have always had a great experience with Air Express. Their office rep, Erika, and our tech Justin are friendly, efficient, and professional. Technicians are always prompt, and do a great job. I highly recommend Air Express for your heating and cooling needs :).

    Extremely pleased with the service I get from Air Express. I have worked with Air Express for a number of years now. I used them in the past for the service package where they come out twice a year to do maintenance on the unit. I just moved back into a house in the Richmond/Katy area of town and requested Josiah to come out and check out my AC units. Turns out the new one was in pretty bad shape due to improper care from prior owners. He worked with the manufacturer and was able to get the warranty transferred over to me and worked with me on getting a good deal on a new furnace since that was not replaced when the compressor was. Josiah is top notch at what he does and I highly recommend having him in your home. Air Express as a company is wonderful to work with as well. They will get you cool or warm when you need them to and their prices are very competitive with other AC shops.

    I honestly do not have enough words to express how impressed i am with Air Express. Josiah came to the house and gave us a thorough explanation on the brands they carry as well as explained whats best for the goals we required.     My condenser fan wires came loose in a storm and the fan cut them up.I figured the wires could be patched or at worst the fan needed to be replaced.I called air express and a local AC guy that lived in my neighborhood at 8am.Air Express said they could have someone out by 10 am. They showed up at 9 am because a maintenance appointment cancelled and they knew my ac was out until it was fixed.A diagnosis was quoted from air express at $59 up front on the phone when making the appointment. The other local guy I called quoted me $90 and would waive travel fees cause I lived in the neighborhood! Go figure.Jorge from air express showed up and he was immediately helpful and knew exactly how to fix it. The wires were spliced with a wire nut and zip tied outside of the grate to prevent the wires from dangling down into the fan again. It was a repair I could have done but was not sure if I could. He schooled me on how it worked and shared some war stories.He checked the refrigerant and made sure everything was working and cooling.The repair was done in a few minutes and the invoice was about $117 which is more than fair for absolutely quick and great service.I would highly recommend them and thank Jorge for saving me from the crazy Texas drought heat!

    Josiah Wood from Air Express visited me yesterday to troubleshoot issues affecting my A/C unit. He arrived on time, was extremely professional and well mannered. After witnessing people messing around with the electronics of the furnace and control panel, I was very impressed with Josiah and the way he methodically addressed the problem, step by step and carefully. Within minutes he identified and resolved several issues dating back to the original installation of my A/C unit and some other due to failed troubleshooting attempts by different vendors. He then proceeded to confirm everything was working as per the manufacturers recommendations and left my A/C unit running smoothly, like it never did before. I am extremely impressed by Josiah and would definitely recommend his services. It is reassuring to know that there are honest and ethical people like Josiah out there.

    Air Express personnel were very professional and quick. They were scheduled to replace both A/C and Heating units in my home over a two day period, one each day. One of my units blew out and quit operating a week and a few days before scheduled dates and Air Express move other jobs around to replace the blown unit early, making my home bearable in this summer heat until the other unit could also be replaced cooling the entire house. The two crews that did the unit replacement did not mind all the questions I was asking and volunteered information as to what was being done and why. Air Express made the (not wanted but needed) experience as easy as it could have been. I will and have recommended Air Express as an exceptional A/C - Heating Company.

    Air Express replaced both of my A/C and heating units in 2015 so my annual heating inspections are expected to be short and simple. The service technician, Carlos, has serviced my units before and really goes above and beyond when it comes to checking the details. During my recent heater inspection he did all the usual checks but also went the extra mile to tighten a loose support strap for one of my heater vents. It is this attention to detail that resonates throughout the company that encourages me to continue using them. They are always punctual and call if there will be delays. I have no reservation recommending them.

    I have a 5 year old house, and the HVAC system was never setup properly. I worked through the builder the first couple of years we were having issues, and had 3 other HVAC companies in my house trying to sell me on spending a fortune on their new system.Finally this year I had decided to replace my system, but wanted to work with a HVAC company that I could trust not to scam me. Air Express was referred to me by a friend.Josiah came to my house, and I could not wish for a more trustworthy person to work with.     AC was turning off and on every couple of minutes. Justin, Service Technician, came out and first asked me what I was experiencing to help troubleshoot the issue. After performing several tests it was found that the condenser coil had a small leak and the unit was low on refrigerate. It was determined it could not be repaired and a new coil was ordered under warranty. Justin added refrigerate on the intial day to help us continue to have AC. When the new coil arrived the installation crew were here to install the day after its arrival. Justin and the installation crew were all professional in every aspect of this job. After the installation was finished Justin came out on the following day to check that everything was woking perfectly, the installation crew had also confirmed all was good.. I highly recommend Air Express for any HVAC installation or service. We also purchase their Elite Service Plan which puts you at the front of the line if you should have any issues plus a 10% discount on parts and service if required.     Had been using A-b-s-o-l-u-t-e comfort for 18 years. Got a quote from them thinking “ I’ve been their customer for18 years, surely they will treat me good” nope. Tried to upsell me with a larger tonage system.Long story short, I also got quotes from air express and they smoked the other company as far as professionalism, price, and follow up. Jim Douglas was outstanding! Transparent with pricing, did what he said he would do, and even showed up a couple of times to check on his guys. The installers were all employees of the company not sub contractors. They were all professional, curtious, and extremely careful in the very tight attic we have. We just had two days of 95 degree temps in katy and a house full of people on both days and this new system kept up with no issues. I would highly recommend this company and I’ll be using them for all my future maintenance on my two systems.Thanks guys! Great job!

    I did HVAC years ago so I know enough about it to get by, but have no tools or access equipment to repair or replace my system. My air went out Sunday night and I knew I had at least 1 leak in the system. I called Express Air Monday morning and they told me that Josiah would be at my home between 3 and 5 pm. Josiah showed up on time and no issues with me overlooking to assess the situation. We found several leaks on the outdoor side and I knew it was gonna need to be replaced. I could tell Josiah really wanted to get it up and running for me and my family with as little expense to us as possible. He worked with me for about 3 hours Monday night and we decided on replacing the system. He took his time explaining all the available options and making it right for our home to resolve several issues that we had since they only put 1 system in my 2 story home that was not zoned originally. They got me on the books for Wednesday and put 4 lbs of refridgerant in my system to get me through Monday night. Tuesday morning Josiah dropped off a portable A/C for my bedroom to get us through Tuesday night. Wednesday morning they showed up exactly when they said they would and got to work. AB, Johnathan, Luis and Marcelo did a fantastic install. They were courteous and stayed until 9 pm that night with Josiah to make sure the system was completed correctly and functioning for us so that we had air. I wanted to do it myself to save money and I will tell you that the price they gave was amazing. I dont know that I could have done it myself for the price they gave me. There communication and hospitality from Christine in the office to Josiah to AB, Johnathan, Luis and Marcelo was nothing short of perfect. It is nice to see a larger company out there who truly cares about their customers well being. If you want a great job, fair pricing and to know exactly how and when your system will be fixed and/or replaced, then this is the place to go with. I cannot say enough great things about Express Air. My experience was amazing and we are truly satisfied!!!!!!!

    I first used AirExpress probably 15 years ago after being told by another company that my AC could not be repaired and would have to be replaced. They replaced a $6 part and everything was good. I have used them for maintenance and repairs since and they have always been friendly and professional.     Josiah Is absolutely amazing! I’ve been having trouble with my AC Unit ever since my townhome was built.
