Would give 10 out of 5 stars if I could. David is an honest, compassionate, and capable HVAC technician, but beyond that hes just a good human. He answered the call late on a Saturday, the night before Easter Sunday to help restore the AC at our house. He didnt make me feel bad for the inconvenience it must have been to do so, but rather graciously came and worked in the dark of night to get the air back on over a getting hotter weekend. Could not be more grateful for the next-level customer service he offered. I wont be utilizing another HVAC company so long as he continues to work. David, you have a fan for life.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. I called in after a bad experience with another company. The person took my information and said someone would be out. Within 30 minutes, Jason, the technician was out and fixed the issue quickly. He explained the cause and next steps and was able to handle the invoice over the phone as I was not home. Early Saturday morning my air conditioner quit blowing out cold air and the fan quit spinning. I looked on Google for a close AC repair shop with good to great reviews and I found A/C Works. Those reviews on google were accurate. I called about 10:50 am and requested for a Technician to come out. The customer service agent told me, I can have a Technician out later this afternoon and the technician will call before he heads out to your location. I received a call from Jason stating he was my tech enroute and would be at my house in about 10 minutes to see what going on with my unit. He called at 2:25 p.m. and he was at my house by 2:30 p.m. I was very happy. Jason greeted the family, asked a few questions about the unit, conducted a diagnostic, told me what exactly was wrong and what I needed to replace. He noticed my house was fairly new and knew that the part of the unit that needed to be replace had a 5 year warranty and also noticed I was a Army Veteran. Jason is an honest worker very knowledgeable with excellent customer service. This world need more guys like Jason. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who need an honest A/C repair company.

Jason was on time and spent about a half hour trying to track down a leak in our AC system. Ultimately he did not find the leak and recommended that I call the company that installed the system. He said that they could not do the work under warranty but would be happy to help me if we needed them to. I appreciate that he wanted to save us money. It took the company that installed the system about 15 minutes to find the leak in the system with a leak detector. We are working with the installer to get the job finished under warranty. I appreciate that AC Works was very responsive, came out quickly and worked with us to save us money. The service call was about $100.

The company that had sold the system to the previous home owner could not schedule us in for 48 hours, which doesnt work with Texas 100+ degree temperatures. I highly recommend A/C Works.

I had them come and do a heater inspection. I was so glad l did! Just as I feared the exchanger was leaking CO. That meant a new heater. With below freezing temp coming I needed the replacement fast. They sprang into action and were at my house the next morning with a new unit. In 3 hours I had a working heating system again. I also had them install a whole house system filtration system sswhich they had recommended during my last A/C checkup. The cost was far less than I feared.These guys are the BEST. Responsive, dependable, and honest. This is the fourth time I have used them. I’ll never use anyone else.Update: May 2024I just had them replace my whole A/C system. The last time they serviced it last summer David told me it was undersized for my house. He also had to add refrigerant and the fan was making a noise. We agreed then it needed to be replaced before next summer. Fast forward to now. I contacted him and asked him to get me a price and put me on the schedule before busy season and summer heat arrived. Just a few days later they were here doing the install. I couldn’t be more pleased. I can definitely tell this unit cools better and with the higher efficiency I’m praying for lower electric bills in July-August.As always, David is the best, the nicest, and the most caring.

AC Works did it again, exceeding our expectations! We started using AC Works in 2007 after a couple years of terrible service through home warranty providers. I liked that they were locally owned and operated. Immediately they were a breath of fresh air and still are. Over the years (and different houses) they have continuously provided superb service. We’ve used them for repairs and for an all new AC and furnace once. This time it was a repair. Jason came same day even though it was late. He did some troubleshooting, gave us a rough estimate of the repair, and came back the next day with the new part in hand. Jason was so professional and caring. We have always had the best experience with AC Works and recommend them to everyone!

The AC on our second floor went out and with a house full of out of town guests we were desperate to get it fixed ASAP. Dave came out in less than 24 hours and fixed the issue within what seemed like a matter of minutes!!! And that’s not even the best part. We were bracing ourselves to have to come out quite a bit of money because that’s typically the case when there’s an AC issue, but they only charged us the service call fee. Plus, Dave came back the very next day (on a Sunday) to drop off some air filters. Talk about going above & beyond!

He also gives you plenty of tips to extend the life of your AC unit. Things that some other places probably wouldnt do. A/C Works is reliable, professional, reasonably priced and most of all honest. I found A/C Works when I first moved to McKinney 7 years ago. Ive needed their services numerous times during these past 7 years. David is extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He will usually be able to come out within 24 hrs. Sometimes its longer if its the busy time of year, but its never been more than 36 hrs. I can text him and hell tell me what to do until he or Jason, one of his techs, can get here. He has come to my house on a Friday night at 8 pm on a holiday weekend because that was when he could fit me in. You will be very pleased with David and his crew. Were moving 4 hrs away, so I will not be in his service area anymore. I feel like were leaving good friends.

I utilized AC Works to perform a seasonal tune up and check of my 3 AC and gas furnace units. I had assumed that the unit was working well as it cools the air. I might not have noticed a lack of heat in a seldom used part of the house until it got really cold and resulted in an emergency service call at best and broken pipes and water damage at the worst.
