Truly lives up to their name! Our furnace went out just days before a big freeze, and with two under two I was worried for the safety of my family. I called up AC superheroes on a Saturday and they were here Sunday morning to figure out the problem. By Monday, we had a brand new furnace to replace our 30-year-old furnace. The speed and efficiency that they install the new system was amazing. The price was better than what other people would have quoted Us in the past. If I have any other problems with my AC, Im calling Lucas!

Dec 2024They came to add vents to a patio that we enclosed. They had to go into a difficult small attic and using a saw cut into a decorative wood stained ceilingThey replacing the vents in between canned lights and a future very nice fixtureWe asked them to please center the vents because itll look really weird otherwise especially since were going to stain the roof blue.I showed the picture below. They did a phenomenal job given the space they had to work in.They cleaned vents with peroxide mixture ! Great JobJuly 2024We had a roof leak during the few days that it rained. We went up in the attic and the AC was working, but it looked like the drain pan was full. They came out very quickly to make sure that it wasnt an AC related issue. Turns out that one of the drain lines became clogged up. They serviced it fixed it polite and speedy as always. Highly recommend.April 2024Lucas and his team have been servicing our AC now for several years. Recently one of the units started leaking Freon and we tried to seal it knowing there was a chance it wouldnt work. The units are 13 years old. Unfortunately, yesterday, one of them started making a terrible noise. I called and they immediately came out and said the compressor was gone. Lucas worked diligently with me and we came to the conclusion unfortunately that it was time to replace the unit. The other unit had low levels and so it was slowly losing Freon as well so we are at the point now that both units needed to be replaced . We are going to replace the furnace as well although you dont have to, but in our particular case, we wanted to increase the size of the AC so we were forced into the replacement. They did an amazing job. One of the most expensive repairs is replacing an AC but thankfully Carrier has 0% financing which makes it somewhat less painful.Replacing two AC units as well as going into the attic to put in two furnaces is a major project. They did a very careful job cleaning up as they went along.I have given him five stars and would give him more if we could. Their service plan is the best in my mind in the city because As as Ive shown below, they come out quarterly replace filters, they wash the hot water heaters, and they clean out the dryer. The total of those services alone if you buy separately equals the cost of the yearly services. In addition as a service plan, customer I did get a discount on the purchase of new units.Highly recommend and I would strongly suggest signing up for the monthly service plan youll take care of your AC units, Hot Water Heater and your dryer.

These guys saved me. We have some speciality AC system that has been problematic for years. It finally died just as it was getting hot outside.Conor showed up fast and diagnosed the issue. He then set us up with some temporary AC units for our bedrooms as we awaited a specialty part for our weird unit and determined the best path forward.Lucas came back to us with some options - lowest cost with only one part that was required vs a bigger investment but likely fewer problems in the future in addition to a long warranty. One of those options had 0% financing for 6 years. Win.The pricing and options were fair. The crew were experienced, respectful of our home and knowledgeable. The unit was 10 years old and under stress given winter and summer temps and continous operation, so I wanted to explore a non-heat pump option.The team did a great job of explaining the different options available, including pricing, equipment choices, and product specifications. This was really helpful in making what I believe is a solid decision to separate my air conditioning and heating systems with a separate AC unit and furnace unit.The team did a great job with the removal and installation. I called AC Superheroes to troubleshoot my A/C not kicking on. Lucas came out and took his time to educate me about my options, fixed the problem at a fair price, and stood behind his work. After this first small job with Lucas, I found him to be trustworthy.A few months later, my A/C completely failed because it was already on its last leg after 20 yrs. After holding off on this project for years, I knew I had to bite the bullet and get the whole system replaced eventually. I called AC Superheroes for an estimate and compared it to another highly-rated HVAC contractors estimate that I worked with previously. I found both offers competitive on price and offering. I chose to go with Lucas because he was closer to me in Lakeway and our last service call with him went so well.Lucas and his new colleague Connor came out the same week and even completed the entire system replacement while my wife and I left town. Update 1/12/24:Rey and the new assistant did a great job and included flushing my two water heaters, cleaning the dryer vent along with the HVAC maintenance.Update 8/6/23: Evap coil leak stopper held for almost two months, but Conner came out a couple of days ago after the house started getting warmer than usual. He did a more in depth analysis and found multiple leaks in the evap coil in the attic (bad rust on 11 year old system and our next door neighbor just had his AC system replaced with the same issue). AC Superheroes gave me three options with estimates (replace the coil or replace the coil and outside AC unit or a whole new system that included the furnace). After speaking with a few other contractors and getting other quotes, only one contractor could beat the price and that was a trusted family AC contractor in the San Antonio area. He recommended replacing the whole system and he could do it for about $500 cheaper than AC Superheroes, but he said he could not match the AC Superheros 10 year labor warranty (on top of the 10 year parts warranty with the whole system) and he recommended going with them (he and other contractors usually do a 1 year labor warranty). Though our furnace was in decent shape but still 11 years old, we opted for the entire system to keep same brand and add some efficiencies on top of the 10 year parts and labor. AC Superheroes (Lucas and Conner) were prompt and professional. They started around 8am on Saturday and we had cold air by 4pm that same day. Wonderful night sleep and writing this review today in a nice cool house with 105F outside. Thank you AC Superheroes!Also recommend their maintenance plan we got from them in June. Reasonable price but also gave us 10% off parts and labor on installing the new system.End UpdateJune 14: Came home from summer vacation to find the AC was blowing warm air. Contacted a pro that evening (not AC Superheroes) who said they could get to us the next morning. Through a few delays and supply shortages on the pros end they had to delay until the next morning (with a heat advisory in effect). Called up Lucas and Connor and they were able to come out under 2 hours of my call that same evening. Connor was very professional and knowledgeable. We went for their maintenance deal on top of the repair so they will be maintaining our system plus other benefits for the next year or more. Cool night and slept like a baby (a sleepy baby). Thank you Connor!

Connor was here on time. We found out that we were very low on refrigerant. He charged the unit and we are back up and running. Very professional and would recommend.

Condo has a two compressor system. Both units stopped working in the middle of the night no warning. Found Lucas by using Angies he was able to come over within one hour. Lucas diagnosed the problem and was able to fix system without additional parts. System was up and running within 2-1/2 hours. I will call again next time we need A/C repair.
