    I highly recommend Port A Escapes for your Port Aransas bookings! They made the check in and check out process so easy! I called to ask a question and they were so nice! We loved the condo we stayed in and will definitely book with them next time.

    We arrived in Port Aransas and found out the unit we rented didn’t have a working toilet. This unit was NOT rented from Port Aransas Escapes. This was the fault of another vacation rental agency.We emergently contacted Port Aransas Escapes to see if they could help us get another room. Melissa was very sympathetic with our situation and helped us get another room. She was incredibly helpful and friendly. She saved our vacation from being ruined. I’ll definitely rent from Port A Escapes again.

    Our vacation did not start off on the right foot this year as our house was a few minutes late being ready. Not usually a big deal however we got to town early because usually Port A Escapes has their homes ready early so we were counting on that. The only reason I was so frustrated really wasnt even their fault, it was raining on the island the day of our arrival which made things a little interesting. With children and pets who couldnt get out of the car due to the weather, they were making me bonkers after spending 4 hours driving to Port A and another 3 hours driving around the island waiting on the house to be cleaned. Again, no blame on Port A Escapes for that situation. Once, we received the code to our house and made our way inside we were immediately disgusted by the smell of cigarette smoke and cigarette burns on furniture. I immediately called the agency and after discussing options with them their management team without hesitation sent us the code to another house that completely exceeded our expectations. Due to their quick response in remedying a dreadful situation, our vacation was relaxing and enjoyable. We have always used Port A Escapes for our vacations to the island and because of their excellent customer service with the one time we have ever had an issue with them, I will never even look at other agencies. I will always tell everyone I know looking to rent a house in Port A, that if they want someone who is going to truly do their best to make your vacation the best it can be then they should choose Port A escapes as well!! And the Modern By The Sea homes are absolutely, stunningly beautiful and modern! They are built from metal shipping containers and are so unique!

    We stayed at the Channel View Condos in May and we were not disappointed. Very clean condo and the management were great. The view, the pier, and pool were amazing. Thank you Port A Escapes for making our Anniversary Vacation amazing. We will definitely use you again. 😁👍

    My partner Maurena Spradley and I just returned from a week long stay in Port Aransas with our 2 grandchildren and our Yorkie. The property exceeded our expectations. It was extremely well maintained and had everything we needed from lovely linens, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds to backyard, grill and patio. PortA Escapes went over and above in making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. From answering questions as we searched for a rental, all the way through the end of our vacation, they were just a phone call away. The staff at PortA Escapes are professional, warm and caring. We will never go back to Port Aransas without going through PortA Escapes for our lodging. Absolutely the best vacation rental management company we have ever done business with. They are simply the best!! Thank you, Marnie Pate, and all of your staff for making our trip to Port Aransas a very pleasurable experience.

    Very nice location, 1 restroom only not 2not good for more then 4 people because the shower, my kids had to wait to take a shower since is one restroom only. The place is very clean with 3 sprayers outside for sand removing purposes. We will rent again

    We stayed at A Shore Thing for the week of 27 June to 3 July 2021. Our stay was everything we expected and more! The house was clean and very comfortable. We had 9 adults and 5 children, and there was plenty of room to spread out and have private space. We had zero problems while there. We were very close to the beach, but not so close that huge amounts of sand were tracked in. There was plenty of hot water for showers, and the two air conditioning units kept the house nice and cool. Full disclosure: the TV/Sound system in the main living room was very hard to figure out, even with 8 tech savvy millennials working on it. Also, the microwave in the main kitchen is uncomfortably high over the cooktop. I mention these things just as an FYI, they did not detract from our visit at all! If you want a big, clean, comfortable house with all the amenities for a very large group, I cannot recommend Port A Escapes A Shore Thing enough!

    We stayed in Port Aransas this summer for a COVID get away and after much debate, chose Port A Escapes. We were treated with the kindness by front desk clerk, Devin, and felt very safe with their safety protocol. The beaches were closed to driving while we were there, but we were smart enough to recognize this was no fault of the rental company. The accommodations were spotless and well kept. Everything was comfortable and made for a great trip. I’d definitely rent from them again. Highly recommend!!!

    We stayed at the Orange Sea Horse. The pictures truly do this house an injustice. This house was AMAZING from the moment we turned the key. The staff was very accommodating and even allowed us to check in early at no additional cost. The house is fully equipped with any and everything you need to have a great trip. The two master suite work great for privacy if you have two couples in your group which we had.There is also another room with a queen size bed in in it. It also allows for a third couple to have privacy too. The mattresses were phenomenal. There was a lot of thought put into the set up and decor of this house. The two family rooms allowed the adults to entertain upstairs and the kids watch TV downstairs. They even gave us a great deal on the golf cart rental for our long weekend stay. The only bad thing was we were unable to hook up our electronic device with the WiFi. When we called the office the mailbox was full so we were unable to leave a message. But with all the other things to entertain ourselves who needed WiFi. Me definitely will be renting this again.

    Booked a beautiful house in Port Aransas through them and the whole experience from beginning to end was top notch! The house was perfect, maintainence was super quick to respond to any questions and minor issues. We will definitely be using Port Aransas escapes for all of our future booking needs!

    Amazing stay in a great location house was roomy, clean, and beautiful.We hung out on the deck and watched the eclipse and we enjoyed fishing on the private pier. We’ll definitely be back!

    We stayed in Bungalow #1 in Port A for 4 nights . Overall, a nice condo type home. Master suite was nice and private, away from other bedrooms...but needs a queen or king bed...mattress was very hard and people just do not sleep well in full/double beds. (Housekeeping needs to pay attention to what may be left in sheets as we found a pretty nasty personal item in the linen drawer). Other bedroom also had a full size bed, and the office had a twin with trundle, perfect for kids. Shared bathroom in between the two. I do wish the bedrooms had tvs though.The kitchen is pretty well stocked. Only thing missing that we noticed was there were no bakeware. And the coffee maker was difficult to use. Also, would have been nice to have a broom and dustpan, as I felt bad leaving the floors sandy feeling, and a plunger, as a toilet stopped up and the garbage disposal went out our last night there...only used it the one time, but they did send someone out. The outside area is cute...a gas grill, gas fire pit and bar height table with 2 chairs and 2 loungers as well. Kids loved the outdoor shower, abd it really is nice when coming from the beach! The beach path is shared with next property. You can drive to the boardwalk path and park maybe 6 cars. But spray for mosquitos! They can carry you away!! The pool was still in disrepair from Harvey. Understandable, but they really need someone to clean the pool and the area. There were scorpions floating in the water, trash, screws, nails, cement, etc strewn all over the area. A shame because could be a nice pool! Overall, a nice property....just needs some upkeep for sure at the pool......

    Blue Marlin Beach House in Port Aransas was perfect for our families stay. Backyard fenced for our big dogs to play. Nice sized kitchen with all the fixins. No need to bring anything but food & Kurig cups. Plenty of room to sleep our large family comfortably. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

    Very nice place to stay. Nice kitchen in unit. Very short walk to the beach, as well as an outdoor pool within the complex. Only complaint would be thin walls and a bit of noise from neighbors during late evening hours.

    Our go to place for a quick get away is the Courtyard. Have been coming here for 30 years. There is no longer daily maid service which is ok for trips.
