You go around looking for places and at first everyone seems helpful. But the deeper I look, either people do not know what enough or you realize they were looking for a bonus or holding back information. JP was actually a really open and honest guy. He was anlso fit and said he taught Orange Theory classes too. If I was crazy enough to torture myself I think he’d be awesome at it. As it is, ABSOLUTELY the best professional I’ve met apartment hunting.

City North is one of my favorite communities to ever step foot in, nestled in the quiet Round Rock area with an absolutely homily feel. The staff is some of the most professional, polite and caring I have come across, Anum Ahmad goes above and beyond to make sure everything I ever need is taken care of, done in a timely fashion and with the upmost care and compassion. 5 Star experience from a 5 Star community!

I love it here. I am going on 3 years, and I couldnt be happier!! My home is beautiful!I have a 2 bedroom/2 bath. It is really comfortable. I love the large windows ! My home is very quiet. I had never lived in an apartment before, and Im glad I found City North!!!U will love living here!!!Office staff, and maintenance staff do a great job too;although havent had any major issues that needed to b addressed.I am about to sign a new lease for another 6 months! Come and join me. U wont b sorry u did!!!

I’m really looking forward to moving in! The units look just like the photos on the website, so as soon as I saw an empty one after the model I was impressed and sold. The complex is clean and everyone I’ve met on the property so far is very kind. When I was taken on a tour, I was surprised as to how peaceful and quiet it was despite being next to Sunrise Rd. Plus, the office team is stellar which is a major plus! 10/10

I went there a few months back because there was a chance I would need a place to stay. This dude named Kevin was working at the time. His energy, positivity and professionalism jumped out at me from the beginning and did not falter as he helped me. I felt like I had known him my whole life and he seemed to really care about me be comfortable and happy with the apartments and service. I’m guessing this is what it looks like when you love your job and helping people. He was open and honest without being pushy. I truly felt like he got to know me and my needs before we looked at a single apartment. I would recommend him and this place to any and everyone.

Such a beautiful place to live but what really made this five star review easy would be thanks to the property manager, Emily Thomas! She is the kind of person who really cares for her residents. She is always so friendly and will pop out of her office to just say hi. Very attentive in responding to emails and phone calls. She truly loves what she does and it shows!

Ive been living in my apartment for 2 and half years now and I have to say I enjoy living here. Of course there has been some situations going on but what makes me stay is the staff does something about it. Am the complaints that are left in the reviews are either taken care of, or addressed. Its quiet here, its maintained and the staff are courteous. I also like to mention that even amidst this pandemic the staff has really tried to connect to the tenants. For example there were free snow cones for every body and free hotdogs. The staff tries and thats what matters. Keep up the good work.

We are transitioning to retirement life here soon, we felt City North was/is a good fix. Apartments are pretty spacious, maintenance is fast to respond. I think what I love the most is the pool area. It is pretty quiet. I dont see issues with parking however we are in the back, lots of room.

You get the feel of not living directly in a major city with all the convenience of having everything within a short 10 minute drive. My husband and my 2 dogs love living here! Katrina, Hollie, Rick & Nichole are all very pleasant and friendly when we stop in the office. They are very helpful and knowledgeable with all questions we have. The pool is beautiful and the dog park is a great place that our dogs love running around. The maintenance crew does a great job with upkeep and quick with repairs.

Great community! The staff really care about making sure the area is clean and free from distractions/messes. They are timely in their services. Im happy theyre becoming more strict with people who own dogs, eventually incorporating a doggie DNA program to catch violators. What an awesome place to live.The apartments themselves are basic units so do not expect anything FANCY. These units are super easy to decorate and take care of. They have pest control that comes every Tuesday and 24/7 maintenance for emergencies, etc.I love it here!

This is my first apartment so I cant compare it to others in the area, but I will say that I am thrilled to be living here. Today marks 1 month officially and I can say so far Ive had no problems. The tall ceilings on the third floor are great. Aside from the occasional dog barking or loud exhaust in the PL, Ive had no issues with noise either. The neighbors I have met are very kind.Maintenance was great about the one request I sent. There was a broken light fixture in the breezeway outside my apartment (Hard to see at night,) It was fixed when I returned home from work the same day.Holly In the office is awesome! It seems shes often the only one working the front desk but she does a great job handling everyones calls and requests in a timely manner.Not thrilled about the high rent+mandatory valet trash, (My 1Br1B) Is 960$ per month with trash.Other than that, I have no complaints, staff is great, the apartment is clean and spacious, the community seems awesome as well.If youre considering living here, so long as you can afford it, go for it! (As for the other negative reviews Im not sure what theyre talking about other than I did find someone rummaging through old furniture which had piled up around the trash bin one night when I was taking my trash out. But even then, it seems like a large cleanup effort has been made since some of the pictures previously had been taken.)Great Job guys!

Me and My now wife are deeply saddened that we are moving away from this wonderful establishment. Its really tough to find a people first apartment complex that has your best intentions before theirs. One of the managers and overseers, Rick, has been way more that welcoming our first year we even toured the complex. When we talked about a bigger space, he put us at ease with smooth transitioning and around the same payment of rent our second year!All in all, if you want a beautiful and very CLEAN apartment home, or you just want to walk in the leasing office and be remembered on a first name basis, do consider City North.Thank you City North for welcoming us as a family first, and a renter second!

I have stayed with my family in this community for six months. The staff were very helpful and respectful. They helped me in getting the apartment and all required services like electricity and internet service. Very quiet and nice place to stay for the price paid (compared to nearby communities). The only problem with the apartment I stayed in is the sound isolation. Whenever our neighbours in the upper level are playing, we feel the roof is going to collapse. Same issue with my kids, I cant let them play while in the apartment because it is causing trouble to our neighbors in the lower level. Also, I suggest that they build up a larger gym with more equipment as it gets busy most of the time. Overall, we had enjoyed staying in this place.

City North is a place to call home. The Manager works tirelessly to balance the books here & at another property. He has also been seen cleaning the pool & beautifying the club house this summer. Who does that? A leader who is passionate about his work. Brianna, Kiley, & Rick are resident focused, giving tours, & balancing the day to day office responsibilities. City North is family orientated by offering resident parties so, we can connect as not only neighbors, but friends. The staff keeps an eye on our kids to ensure their safety & encourages parents, to know what their kids are doing as well. Seniors use the business center to drink coffee, college students, & residents use the business center to network & study! Saturdays families have parties in the club house & the gym is where residents enjoy chatting, working out, & literally building friendship. The only thing I hate about City North is, one day Ill have to move out to buy a house. I love the spirit of community!!! I love City North.

I have lived here for three years and plan to renew. My experience working with the staff and management has been great. The few items I have had to get maintenance were fixed with 24 to 48 hours (usually 24). I love the open floor plans and the large windows. It feels more like a resort to me than an apt. After my first year I decided to look around and see what else was out there. Everywhere I looked it felt like an apt.As for some of the negative reviews: Yes, not sure about the gate as yes, its usually just open. But if you have been to other electronic gated communities, getting in to them is no big deal anyway. More important is the community and in three years I have had zero issues with my vehicles.The trash service, I agree that its not a needed expense and would not be signed up if not mandatory. That said, it should just be viewed as part of the rent and amenities of the property. If you go to a nice restaurant, you expect a nice atmosphere and a higher price. Same here as its just part of the overall City North Experience.The pool is wonderful. My summer weekends are spent out there. And there is a nice mix of family and college agers, all having a good time. Not once have I left offended by everyone having a good time.The weight room is small but it does have 2 treadmills and 2 ellipticals, free weights and a few machines. I have a membership at Clay Madsen (Round Rocks Rec Center) and I usually stop there after work for my workouts, so no biggie. And if Im off, or on the weekends, I use the facility here. It works out well.Lastly, the staff is great. Yes, people come and go. That happens with all jobs. But current attitude and approach ability are above par. I get emails when packages have arrived for me to pick up at my convenience, as well as reminders about other things like holiday hours or fire inspections etc.Overall a nice place to live.

I lived at City North for 2 years and just wanted to write a review that touches on a few things that I find important to me. I had a very positive experience living here and it made my time in Round Rock very comfortable & enjoyable. I am also a very low maintenance resident.- I never had trouble with the office staff. They were always very friendly and helpful any time that I stopped by.- Maintenance was equally as friendly and helpful. Always a quick turnaround time.- Loved the location. Right by the outlet mall and close enough to the highway. The area is rapidly growing.- No complex is perfect. The ONLY thing that drove me absolutely crazy is that parking space is limited depending on the building that you live in. I lived closer to the front, by the mail area. If I came home too late (around 10pm), there were times that I had to park all the way in the back of the complex. (There was always plenty of parking there)Not really a huge deal for some people, but I lived alone and did not enjoy having to walk across the whole complex alone at night. With that said, I suggest more lighting at nighttime. Id also suggest turning some of the unused car ports into regular parking spaces and not allowing residents to leave their cars in spaces for months without moving them. At least not in the area with limited parking.- The fitness center could use some work. I continuously found that machines werent working and I utilized the gym quite a bit.- I will agree with the thin walls. I lived on the second floor and the residents above me were loud and annoying. I could hear their dogs running around all day and I could hear much more than I would have liked during their personal time lol. However, that was my choice not to live on the 3rd floor to avoid upstairs neighbors.- Maybe a year into living there, they started making sure the gates were closed after business hours. There was a management change. The right gate always seemed to have issues following that. Not a huge deal to me either way, but if that is important to you its good to know.***Overall, there are a couple of things that could improve, that will be the case anywhere you live. It is a beautiful complex. Amazing staff. I would definitely recommend living here.***

The open concept is a great attraction to the units. Large walk-in closet and large bathroom. Plenty of storage and high ceilings make the one-bedroom units look and feel larger than they are.
