    I am a used car dealer and i started taking my cars to Jacob about 3 years ago. Always great job at a fair price. He replaced differential seal on 2006 ford F350 which was dumping oil great price and quick. He also checks everything related to the problem and make sure you dont get same problem shortly after repair is done.Thank you Jacob.

    I noticed your shop is closed. Would you please let me and other customers know where you’re located? I would like to get the work done that you recommended last year. I really appreciate it. Thank youBrought my vehicle to New Age Transmission with thoughts that I had a transmission leak.A few hours later, I got a call and two text messages from Jacob, showing the source (pictures) of my leak. After speaking with Jacob, he told me that I have an engine leak, not a transmission leak.Jacob was upfront about my repair work and extremely respectful.I’m definitely using New Age Transmission again and again to handle future car repairs.

    I had the privilege of meeting Jacob, New Age Automotive, located at 4515 West Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78213. I own a 2003 Mercedes SL500 that was giving me horrible suspension problems and after shelling out $4,000+ I decided to order a conversion kit from Strutmasters (highly recommend). The kit cost was approx. $1,700 (I added the by-pass hose too). My next problem was locating a good mechanic to do the conversion for me. I have to say that Strutmasters went way beyond because they referred me to New Age Automotive and even directly contacted Jacob for me. Strutmasters gave me Jacob’s contact information and said Jacob is waiting for your call and WOW what an amazing guy. He did a fantastic job and his pricing was unbelievable. I compared pricing cost to two other mechanic shops in San Antonio and hands down he was the most reasonable and completed the job in two days compared to other mechanics wanting to keep my vehicle for a week to handle the job. Jacob was professional, called me the day after I dropped off my vehicle just to keep me updated, trustworthy, courteous…a guy that I truly am so glad I met. Thank you so much Jacob! Here’s to you!!     There is a reason I am willing to drive across town to have Jacob work on my vehicle. He is smart, honest, responsive and true to his word. I drive a vehicle with almost 200,000 miles and he does all my maintenance. I just had my brakes replaced. About six months ago, Jacob was honest in his evaluation -- You can probably go a few more months on your brakes, depending on how hard you drive. Then three months ago -- Its getting very close, make sure you dont wait much longer to replace them. Brakes start squealing and I took them for repair and he did them quickly and at a very fair price (much better than a dealer would charge). Everyone is looking for a great mechanic -- look no further and take your vehicles to New Age Automotive. You will not regret it!

    Jacob saved our trip! I called him on Sunday and he was available to squeeze us in on Monday morning. My friend and I were planning on a cross country road trip but our van literally stalled as we pulled it into the shop.Throughout the repair process, Jacob was straightforward and very communicative. He explained what was wrong and gave great prices for the repairs. The van runs great now and we are headed towards Yellowstone as we speak.I would give 6 stars if I could! Definitely give him a call if you need help on your car.

    Ive been trying to fix my 2001 KIA Sportage 4x4, manual transmission at other shops, and besides being rude and expensive, they never got it right.     I called to get honest advice on my 2007 Saturn - Isnt shifting in the highest gear on highway. Car is worth less than $500, but its been a good car. I was advised to not get it serviced because of worth - they could have told me different and charged. Thanks for the honest advice!

    New Age/Owner is Great People and fair in price. I took a 2012 Camry to him that kept on draining a new battery, I kept replacing. He found a faulty door switch on he driver’s side. He also has done brake jobs on my cars and replaced only what needed to be replaced, NOT like these chain repair places that want to replace everything with new parts (that are actually rebuilt parts).
