    Hector came out today for a scheduled checkup on the new system that Kahl installed last year. Part of the reason that I rate this business so highly is the quality of the men and women that they employ. From the group of installers to the service techs and management, every Kahl associate that I have dealt with has done nothing but improve my opinion. Hector was no exception. My immediate impression tagged him as friendly and professional and my conversation with him gave me confidence in his knowledge and skill. Also, my dog liked him and that goes a long way with me.     We have had excellent service that started with the installation of our AC/heating unit. A super easy company to reach and make appointments for service.     Kahl has the most knowledgeable and pleasant people working for them that I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. The work is always done in a timely manner and done correctly. I have worked with them for my home and at work. Seriously I would recommend them for all of your heating and air conditioning needs. I needed insulation added in the attic when they put in new ductwork. They are taking care of everything. Julian and Martin have been here all day and it’s so hot in the attic. They are still smiling and friendly.

    Contacted Kahl regarding A/C fan motor problem. Kahl arrived at the scheduled time to evaluate the issue. Dustin , the Kahl Technician, determined the problem, recommended a solution to which I agreed. He promptly fixed the AC at a fair price. Dustin has done AC work for me previously and he is extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. It’s obvious that he wants to make sure the customer is always satisfied with his work.

    This review is for the staff (Dillon) at KAHL A/C.On 12/9/2024 I met Dillon after having a bike accident. A deer ran into the road and hit Dillons Kahl service truck and then ran into my bike knocking me to the pavement. Dillon stopped to check on me...at first thinking he might have hit me not realizing the deer hit his truck first and then ran into me. Dillon responded quickly and offered to help by calling someone to come get me or by giving me a ride home. He also provided me with some first aid to help stop the bleeding from my leg and arm....and then waited around for several minutes to ensure I was okay. I really think he was more shook up about the event than I was.My wife drove me to a local clinic where I was checked out…no broken bones!!...but very sore ribs.Kahl A/C has serviced my HVAC units in the past and I often see their trucks throughout the Montgomery County TX area….and never have a seen them driving irresponsibly.I leave this review primarily as testament to the staff working for Kahl A/C. So often people are in a hurry…with little time to stop and help others. Dillon did NOT hesitate….and even went so far as to quickly accept responsibility if due.     Don’t look any further call Kahl today! Called them after two other companies couldn’t fix our a/c. Those other so called companies are just parts replacers and have no experience. Bobby came out and immediately started fixing the basics and the technical stuff in 1 day. Bobby is the best and also a Veteran, thank you for your service to our country Bobby. He is officially “undefeated” by fixing our a/c and Kahl (Bobby) will always have my business. I would give them a 10 Star Rating if I could, thank you Kahl again for your service/support.     Bobby Thiry came out to my house yesterday to give me a bid on replacement of my HVAC system, including the furnace. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in his explanation of what they would be doing and how they would be doing it. He spent over an hour with me, taking pictures in the attic and showing me what needed to be done. We discussed different systems and I decided I wanted the TRANE System to be installed. He was so professional and explained it so that I could clearly understand what they would be doing. I feel like for what I was getting the cost was justified. I was very pleased with the company and Bobby, who is the general manager of KAHL’s.

    Kahl is an incredibly customer focused company, with skilled and dedicated staff. I purchased a previously owned home in August of 2023 that the furnace wasn’t functional on initial use. I reached out to Kahl AC, who sent a tech by the name of Dylan that recognized the furnace was on / running, but no natural gas was present. I’d been paying the gas company for (4) months and it turned out they had missed opening the valve. Kahl only charged for the trip fee, so I chose to opt into their annual maintenance agreement. Today was the first maintenance visit of the agreement.My home’s air conditioner is the same age as the house itself, 18 years, and there were a few parts that required replacing plus Freon added. There was some confusion about what was wrong and what parts needed to be replaced with the tech that came out today. The management team at Kahl (Misty, Megan, and Bobby) stepped in to assist, and are so considerate and respectful of their clients that the General Manager Bobby came out to check it himself and replaced the flawed electrical components without charge! He also came back to add one pound of Freon without any fee as well. It’s hard to express my gratitude, especially now when the vast majority of those in business- small and large- don’t make the effort, time, and energy to support their client relationships. But I will be replacing the unit with them later this year. From issues with my furnace and AC, I trust Kahl AC and recommend them to everyone in the area :)

    We had previously had Sevier out in June for an ac warranty repair. They were supposed to do a tuneup at the same time, which the tuneup didnt happen. He told us 2 lbs of freon at $120 per pound. We just had someone from the neighborhood come and do it. I called Sevier out to complete the tuneup that they didnt do even though the guy told my husband he did. Kept looking after seeing the bad google reviews and BBB reviews on Sevier. I found Kahl and saw all the great reviews. I called them for a tuneup, and Nathan came out today. I am thoroughly pleased with this company and this tech. I wish they were part of AHS, but theyre not. I will keep calling them regardless of the home warranty. Highly recommended.

    I cannot recommend Kahl AC enough. I had an ac issue over the weekend and called first thing Monday morning for service. They had a tech at my house by 1:00 p.m. Monday. They are super responsive, professional, detail oriented, caring, reasonable, and just darn good. The employees are well trained and very thorough (thank you Dustin Adams).     Dillon responded to my annual maintenance call and promptly went to work. After checking all three systems, I questioned him about a noise coming from my mini-split unit. He deduced that the blower motor bearings were failing and that he would get me an estimate on replacement. That day I received the estimate and ordered the repair. Once the part was received, a service date was made and Dillon returned for the installation. I have nothing but high praise for Kahl and for Dillon.     The first time I used Kahl was the summer of 2023. Had an AC unit go out on the weekend. I scoured any and all companies to help. Kahl was the only one that could come out. We had Jesse do the work and he was so polite and friendly. Seemed to actually care that we were dying in the heat. LOL. So I asked about maintenance on the units. Bingo again. So when I decided I was ready the other day, I spoke with Megan to schedule. She was very detailed in the plans offered and emailed me everything. I got an appointment the next week. For this visit, Dylan came. He was again amazing. Explained so much and even put bleach down our pea trap pipe. I also really like that you get a picture of your technician so you know who is really showing up. Thanks yall.

    I highly recommend Kahl AC. They provided a quote the day after their visit to our home, they started the installation two days after I signed it and completed the installation of two units within 3 days. They recommended and I chose a three stage system which is the latest technology available. The bigger unit worked to perfection immediately. The zoned system needed quite a bit more tweaking due to the new technology. The service manager had to return a number of times and even brought the manufacturers engineer with him. He vowed that he would not rest until every little thing worked perfectly and until I was 100% satisfied. He was true to his word, he explained everything that he was doing and why, and in the end, everything is working to perfection and I did not incur any additional costs. If you are looking for a company that will stand behind their work, Kahl will not disappoint.

    Ive been using Kahl for about 3 years now.I feel like they are honest and extremely fast .The first time i called 3 years ago I got same day service and they told me nothing was wrong with my unit.Everything was good and they didnt try to sell me something i didnt need. 2 weeks ago they serviced my unit again and fixed a leaking refrigerant line on my 13 year old unit.Everything is running good and they didnt overcharge me.Great service !     Kahl AC invests in the right people! Dylans expertise found and remedied our mycotoxin issue. This is life changing for us as it was showing up in all our medical tests. Instead of spending thousands on remediation and extensive detox program for all of us - Dylan installed a UV system and we are now treating the source.     Once again Kahl was there to help with great service, prices and an awesome team! It is great to know there is a company out there that still looks out for the customers best interest. Tony and Jesse were our service guys this visit and have had Tony in the past as well.     We were looking for a good A/C company to take on our yearly maintenance and we found one! Dillon was prompt on the appointment time and did a thorough job checking the system and clearing the drain lines. It was a bonus to have someone very knowledgeable for the mini-split I have in my workshop. He also recommended a compressor saver to prolong the life of the unit. I really liked the service and signed up for the Kahl Comfort Club to get regular maintenance. I highly recommend Kahl A/C.

    Let me start by saying I never write reviews but Kahl was amazing! The day before moving out of our house, we came home from dinner at 7PM and the AC was out! I called Kahl and a technician arrived within 30 mins. Joshua was wonderful, diagnosing and fixing our AC within 15-20 mins. He was super knowledgeable and great to chat with. This company and their staff are extremely professional and very reasonably priced. I would most definitely recommend using them.

    I called Kahl AC to come out to my place and check my split unit AC. It stopped blowing cold air and as I suspected it was low of coolant. I guy who came out was friendly and professional. However several weeks later It stopped blowing cold again due to a leak in a threaded joint. When I called Kahl back out Bobby came out. Not only did he come once but several times as he worked to pinpoint the leak which took several tries. No extra charge was billed for the return visits! I highly recommend Kahl Ac and bobby and I will not hesitate to call them again for any ac problems or help in the future.

Dillon was a delight in his manners and very efficient in his diagnosis of the problem. Dillon did a temporary repair and then returned for final fix once part arrived.     I have used Kahl A/C twice now to help me with complex AC issues. Both times of course it was in the middle of summer when theyre the busiest. Every time I call their office the girls answering the phone are beyond courteous and extremely understanding and not to mention thorough. If they tell you they will find out and call you back believe me, they will get the answer to your question and call you back, and I dont mean 2-3 days later depending on the time of day its usually within an hour or so. Both times this summer Ive had to call them out they were able to offer same day service which again is virtually unheard of. Their staff of technicians in the field are equal to the task of diagnosing problems WITHOUT recommending that you replace your entire unit first thing. They take their time and are extremely patient and more than able to figure out even complex issues. Their prices are beyond reasonable (considering the cost of fuel right now). If youre looking for the good guys in the AC business youve found the guys in the white hats at Kahl!!!! Just cant say enough good things about the entire organization! Support small business and keep it in Montgomery County!!! Call Kahl!!!!

This time Dillon did an annual maintenance to my furnaces, and did it very thoroughly emphasizing safety. They applied a discount (that I had no idea about), and as a result it was all pretty inexpensive. Highly recommend Kahl !An update. Tyler and Edvin did an evaporator coil replacement on one of the units. They really did a fantastic job! Very high quality and professional. They recommended an upgrade to Ruud part at a very decent price. All done exactly as promised and timely. Next day James came over to inspect the installation and it was fine except small condensate leak to the “emergency” tray (they installed a brand new one and a float switch at no extra charge). Tiffany in the office managed to get the 10year warranty for the coil from the manufacturer.So I am very happy with the process and result!Adding my 5 cents to previous comments as of 06/28/24. I called them last night and they responded the next morning.     Have a maintenance program with Kahl, so they manage the upkeep of the system. Sadly, Texas summers still take their toll on an AC system. We bought our home about 6 months ago and a Kahl technician came out and adjusted the air output and explained the system to me. Turned out they installed the system so he was very familiar with it. Dillon has come out and we actually have him listed as our preferred tech; but Joshua is also very good at his job. Both guys listen, ask intelligent questions to determine the actual issue, then fix the problem. We had to get two major repairs on the unit and after the install, Dillon or Joshua came out to ensure the work was done well.

    As a business owner I pride myself in customer service and I strive to find other businesses that provide the same service. My ac was old and breaking often and was in need of a new one. Dalton came and did a repair and we spoke about a new ac. Dalton was a true professional and I knew this was a great company. 4 days later it broke again and that was the last straw. Dalton came back out very quickly and got me going. I ordered my new ac and the installers came and took them about 18 hours and two days to install it. Cody, Alex, Robert and Chris were the ones who installed the system along with some help from Dalton. I have one of the smallest attics and they were up there for two days and not one time did they get aggravated from the heat and everything the whole time was yes sir and no sir.     Very impressed with company that stands behinds its product and workmanship. After thorough spring check up I decided to replace my 16 year old unit. Everything was done as promised, on time and great communication. My older home and new technology created a need for some modification. I was very pleased with Tyler Vonflatern and Erik Kincaids work, communication and timely manner to get things completed.     My AC quit blowing air inside. I called Kahl, left a message and they called back within a few minutes. It was a Saturday afternoon, and the sent someone that same afternoon. Enter James Jr. He was professional and courteous as soon as he arrived. He found the problem replaced capacitor and cleared the drain line. He also replaced some other worn out parts.     Two years ago an elderly neighbor was telling me her A/C went out. An A/C company told her she needed a whole new system and it would cost thousands.Someone told her to call Kahl. She said Kahl came out, put in a new capacitor and just charged her for the service call! I said give me their number.Fast forward to today and my upstairs a/c was out. I thankfully still had the number and called. The lady that picked the phone up, courteous and professional. They have done repairs past couple years for myself and Ive told my neighbors about them and they also have started using Kahl.James and Misty Kahl (Owners) with their employees have provided great service with quick repair at great prices.For this event I would like to give special recognition for Kahls Dalton; who dealt with the weather and travel conditions to quickly make repairs.Repair 2/16/2021 during the devasting winter storm and freeze for Texas. With temps below freezing for days and electricity brownouts for many hours. Many with burst water pipes, dangerous living conditions. All this while they also were dealing with their own homes issues; still came to the aide of their neighbors.Heat strips in my heating unit were damaged not providing heat, no firewood available anywhere for fireplace or even heaters, even if electric did turn on.I contacted James & Misty who provided someone to repair.
