Many A/C technicians take advantage of customers limited knowledge by pushing unnecessary purchases or recommending costly solutions when more affordable options are available. However, I recently had a positive experience that stands out from the rest.I had the pleasure of speaking with Scott, the owner of Braswells Air Conditioning And Heating Services. In the past, I had dealt with another A/C company to address my cooling issue. They insisted I required a new condenser fan, which would have cost me around $500 to $600, including installation. Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, they couldnt perform the work immediately. Given that I needed the job completed before the weekend due to a business trip, I googled AC companys based on reviews and landed on Braswells Air Conditioning And Heating Services .During our conversation, I explained my previous findings, and we arranged for him to assess the situation the next day, which is today. Scott conducted his own thorough troubleshooting and determined that while the fan showed signs of wear, it was still in good condition. The real issue lay with a faulty capacitor, which needed replacement. The remarkable part? The cost was significantly lower—more than half of what a new fan would have entailed.What truly impressed me was Scotts honesty and integrity. Even though I would have accepted the fan replacement, based on the recommendation of the previous company, he prioritized transparency and long-term customer satisfaction over a quick profit. Scott, you have undoubtedly earned my trust and future business. While I hope not to encounter A/C issues in the near future, I now know who to call. Moved into our house and the ac or heater wouldn’t work. We called Braswell’s Air Conditioning after getting a recommendation. He responded quickly and came out a lot sooner than anyone else could. He was very upfront with his prices and broke down all the cost which was very appreciated. After fixing our unit he explained all the work that was done and even gave us tips to prevent messing it up again. His prices were comparable to other companies but his work and professionalism was above anyone else we have worked with. Will definitely be using him again in the future and referring him to any friends and family that may need his services.

I am very happy I called Scott Braswell. I had a single room AC that was not working. Scott came out on time, had every tool he needed and even had booties that covered his shoes so that they would not track any dirt into my carpet. I called on Saturday morning around 10 a.m. he promptly returned my call and arrived at my home by 1 pm.Instead of a repair issue, it was a maintenance issue and this is where my faith is renewed. He could have easily said my fan motor wasnt operational. However, it was a tripped circuit that was overlooked. He corrected that issue, checked the thermostat and cleaned the unit.His professionalism, integrity and fairness is why you should use him for your AC and Heating needs.Thanks to the person who recommended him on Next Door glad Scott answered my call.
