The transmission fluid on my toyota was replaced in timely fashion & I left with good feeling that the transmission was in good working order . Took to this AAMCO for 2nd opinion and found out axel seal is leaking and low on fluid. They replaced my axel seal , filled it up and the problem stopped. My leak is fixed and didn’t have to replace my transmission. Their expert and transparent diagnostic saved me money. My Toyota is back on road. I will definitely bring my car to this location for my future car services.

On Tuesday my transmission was acting up. On Wednesday I had my 2015 Infiniti Q40 towed here for service. My car has 134k miles so I was very nervous as to what it could be. My first thought was to take to Infiniti, but they told me I was looking at one to two weeks without my car. Even though they offered a loaner, they said it was $269 just to diagnose and I knew labor would be outrageous if they had for two weeks.After a couple of people on FB recommended Aamco, I decided to give them a call. David was so kind and professional. He said they would diagnose for free and to me that was impressive. He said I needed a new Valve Body. Was told it would probably be ready by Friday. However, they did the work and had my car ready by Thursday evening. I was very impressed and pleased! They did an amazing job at a great price! David kept me informed every step of the way. Its difficult to find outstanding customer service these days, but David is the exception! I will definitely use them again!I I highly recommend David and his team at Aamco! I seriously cannot thank the guys at Aamco, especially David, enough for all their help! Not only did they help check out my transmission and get it replaced, but when my steering and suspension started having issues they helped me diagnose the issue, at a great rate compared to other quotes i got too! I’ve not done business yet with these guys. With that being said, I wanted to share my experience. A technician at a lube and tune shop recommended this shop as the go to for transmission issues. I gave them a call and was really shocked when they told me about their diagnosis process. They’ll have you bring in your car and they keep it most of the day to do a complementary transmission diagnosis to get to the root of the problems. When I asked if there were any charges even if I didn’t have my car repaired, they happily replied that there’s no charge for them doing this. For me, I found this to be a big deal! There’s nothing complementary without a catch, these guys broke that mold. They’ll get my business without a doubt. Check them out!

I had the transmission rebuilt in my 2015 Equinox at this location. David the General Manager had to remove the torque converter 3 times to figure out that the shop that rebuilt the transmission (a year and a half ago), before Aamco, had put the wrong converter in my SUV! He did an amazing job and I would recommend this Aamco location to anyone who needs their transmission worked on!!! 👍👍

I was traveling when my clutch went out. I called Aamco and David told me to bring my car in. He told me it would be the next day before he could work on it and that it probably wouldnt be finished until the day after that. Not only did they fix my clutch, but they had it finished a day earlier than he thought it would be. Thats what I call under promising and over delivering. It was great to get my car fixed and even better to have a kind, friendly person helping me out. Really great customer service is hard to find these days. I found it at the Irving Blvd. Aamco.

No wonder why there’s some many cars outside, this place stays busy because they do such an amazing service. Everything was smooth and quick, our work van had a dash light for the brakes so I dropped it at this AAMCO location to get the brakes changed, they called me back and told me the brakes were good, maybe there was something else, they checked the sensors and one of them was bad. Loved the honesty in the process, they could have easily changed the brakes and charged me $1,800 for it when it was only a sensor. Will definitely come back for anything regarding our work van and also to check my SUV for the transmission work!

On 4-29-24 I turned my Mercedes over to AAMCO TRANSMISSION at 3620 Inwood Rd.Dallas Tx. I was expecting a financial NIGHTMARE. To me it seemed my 1st gear was slow to engage. They checked it out, drove it around but found nothing wrong. I asked if they could keep it overnight to do a early morning cold start, they did and found nothing wrong again. I could not believe they were HONEST enough to tell me they found nothing wrong, most shops would have LIED and taken advantage of the situation. I was so impressed I had my transmission serviced anyway. These guys have my business, Im sold.

Exceptional service. Rahim and his team diagnosed a noise from my car which at least 5 other shops (including the original dealership ) could not identify, for years! My car broke down on Thanksgiving…one day before it was scheduled to be traded in. I wasn’t able to reach anyone over the entire weekend except for AAMCO. Just talking to David made me feel a little less anxious about the whole situation. Monday morning he quickly scheduled a tow for me. The towing services were great and I was glad to see that it was a flat bed tow truck. I don’t know what’s going on with the car yet but I will say that services have been top notch so far. Not just professional but also very friendly.

The guys at AAMCO are the best! Dave is awesome, and he will do his best to work with you when it comes to fixing your car. Had my truck fixed by them, they were completely honest on what they thought needed to be done, and how much everything was going to cost. They called my warranty carrier for me, so I had to do minimal work.Dave and his crew want to get to know you as a person, not just a customer. When I called to get updates on my truck, we talked hockey for about 20 min, it was great!The new location is A LOT better than the previous one. Staff was still great, but getting out of the parking lot was a nightmare!If I ever need to get my truck looked at/fixed again, I will be coming back to Dave and AAMCO. Hopefully, I wont need to do that anytime in the near future though.

I took my dodge to the dealership twice for the same transmission issue. They were unable to fix the problem. I researched and found AAMCO in Dallas. They had great reviews, so I called them. It was after business hours so I did not expect a call back until Monday, but they called me that afternoon. I explained the issue and dropped my car on a Monday. They identified the issue and what it would take to fix. There were no extra costs. It was exactly as he said it would be. My car was ready for pick-up on a Saturday, but I couldnt get there before they closed. Instead of making me wait until Monday, they stayed until I got there. So far my car is running great! Definitely recommend them!

Last month my sons car broke down. He took his car to Chevy and it took over two weeks for them to diagnose it was the transmission. Another week to tell us they couldnt get the part and it may take weeks to get one. We decided to call Aamco There we spoke with David on a Thursday and he quickly went to work and found us a slightly used one that would be delivered on Monday. We towed the car there and David and his team had the transmission installed and ready to be picked up on Tuesday and for a much better price. Working with David was a great experience all the way through. He is professional, friendly, and always available to take your call. It was truly great working with him. When we picked up the car the mechanic noticed the wheel bearings were going bad so we brought the car back to Aamco and again were treated to the same great customer service and were in and out of there in a day.

We thought we had a leak in our 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sahara so we brought it in to get it diagnosed to see where the problem was. They were extremely thorough without trying to upsell anything. In fact, they were less expensive than other shops that quoted us for the same work! We ended up having them replace the clutch and a seal. They were quick, efficient, and professional. First off let me start by saying David is the real MVP 🏆 he was very informative on what the issue was. the check engine light came on and I went to auto zone to get the code and purchased a vehicle speed sensor because that was the code that was coming back because the car didn’t want to go past second gear so I took it to Nissan to put the part on they kept the car over night and the very next morning nissan called me and told me they were able to get the part on and when they went to drive it it was doing the same thing so he told me that I needed to purchase a new transmission and he was very adamant that was the problem he even gave me prices in a new transmission which would’ve cost me 5,500$ not including labor. Something didn’t sit right with me so I got it towed to AAMCO for a second opinion. David was more than helpful he did a diagnostic and calm me to let me know that it was not the transmission but instead it was the value body assembly that part cost me 1,200$ and the labor was 763.00$ not only did he save me more than 3,000$ he knew exactly what the issue was he fixed it and even worked with me on getting my vehicle back after hours. Oh before I forget after day two of having my vehicle back David reached out to check on me and how the car was operating. That was something she didn’t have to do but he did it and that says a lot about his character as a person. It’s not enough stars to give the company because AAMCO deserves a million ⭐️. Honest. I would describe their business as honest. We arrived with our vehicle ahead of the transmission mileage schedule. The technician kindly let us know we were too early but I insisted on. (We did our transmission change at 40k versus the normal 80k for our model vehicle) They did the transmission flush. The vehicle ran so much smoother after the flush. The gears changes were seamless! I appreciated the honesty and their work on our vehicle.

This is not my first time using this branch and because of the previous satisfied service, I once again came to them to address an issue with my A/C. They are very prefessional and Mr. Carpio is extremely knowledgeable and honest. He patiently broke down the procedure, process, etc., in laymans term so I could understand. Also, being a female, I felt safe that I was not being overcharged for a service and being coaxed into other services that I didnt need. I went in to AAMCO to get my compressor replaced for my AC unit, the manager Tony advised me to let them do a free diagnostic to ensure that is exactly what needed to be replaced so I wouldnt need to spend more money if I didnt have to. They were able to schedule me for the following day and be finished with my car as promised before 5pm. Tony also called me to let me know my serpentine belt and tensioner belt were cracked and needed to be replaced which I really appreciated that he called and asked permission before just replacing them and billing me afterwards. Tony was very helpful and informative throughout the process which only took a business day and my AC is working fantastic now! So grateful for the honest, good mechanics here.

As I was driving into Dallas from Denton the day after Thanksgiving, my truck started to make a loud noise as I was driving. As I got off the exit this was the only repairs shop I saw in the area opened. I went in and saw this guy sitting behind the desk with this long beard. I asked him to check the noise out for and he got out those dark sunglasses on and came outside and looked at my vehicle. He was really nice and very knowledgable, thats why you never judge a book by its cover. He gave a diagnosis but he told me he couldnt be 100% sure because he would need to get it in the shop. He did explain to me that their were 4 vehicles in front of me and he wouldnt be able to get to it on that Friday but he guaranteed me he would have a diagnosis for sure Saturday but they close at 12 so he couldnt guarantee my vehicle until Monday. My vehicle was fixed Monday as guaranteed. What made it even more special is the fact that David called me on Tuesday to follow up with me to make sure my truck was still running great. If this shop wasnt so far from my house this would definitely be my go to shop for all my vehicle needs. David was so cool and straight up. When he put those shades on and walk outside hes about business. Very professional. I would definitely recommend this shop if youre in the area and need repairs to your vehicle. I wish this shop was located in Corinth!!!!

Awesome experience! My vehicle broke down on the toll way at North West Highway. I called roadside assistance, and the tow truck driver commented that I was lucky because I was close to Aamco. Apparently, he is only willing to take his personal vehicle there. It was freezing out, and they made me a fresh pot of coffee. I was impressed by their professionalism! My vehicle was checked promptly, and they offered assistance with obtaining a rental car. They said it would be ready in 7-10 days, and it was done in 8. AAMCO deserves more than 5 stars based on their honesty! Brought my car here when I had experienced a problem with my brakes that freaked me out. I brought it to them even though my brakes were feeling more “normal” by the time I brought it in. Any mechanic could’ve ripped me off and said I needed an expensive part replaced. I don’t know much about cars and it’s pretty clear once they meet me. But AAMCO spent time looking at my car and when they couldn’t find anything wrong they were honest with me and didn’t charge me a penny! AAMCO has earned my trust and future business! Took my 08 Buick Enclave to a chain brake place last week for what I figured were normal brake problems. After completing their diagnostic, they presented me with an estimate of over $700.00 to fix my brakes. After recovering from the shock of the estimate I calmly told them to give me my car back and that I would think about the repairs. It was close enough to my house and they offered a free diagnostic. At this point being a little skeptical from the last place, I called and made an appointment for the next day. Dustin was very personable and re assured me there were no gimmicks and that I would have an estimate later that day. They called me late that afternoon with a more accurate estimate that was less than half the price of the previous place. I authorized the work and picked it up after work that same day. I appreciate these guys for being thorough and not trying to break the bank on my car... I will definitley be back!!

Hands down one of the most trustworthy and fair prices auto shops I have worked with in the 15 years I have lives in Dallas. Tony and his team really came to the rescue for my 2011 GMC Terrain. The transmission was completely hosed, I had to have it fixed in 24 hours as I was driving 13 hours to Colorado. I took the car in mid morning and picked it up at 5pm. It is like I am driving a new car. And it was much cheaper than having thr dealership fix it. I will be taking my car to AAMCO for all of my car service needs moving forward. Okay.... to each its own but my experience was great!Okay I had previously called this location to ask a few questions... I was assisted by David and little did I know that he would be a life saver. I am a DriveTime Customer. My 06 Pontiac Grand Prix started running hot and it seemed like I was buying dex-cool every 2-3 days but wasnt seeing any leaks anywhere. I was wondering where the coolant was going and it baffled me. my car started over heating in cold temps and one day the fluids even froze up due to the cold weather and lack of coolant. So I called the shop a second time and David once again sat there and listened to me rant and rave and instructed me on what to do to get my car running so i could bring it in. Now I have a warranty on my car and thank God that I did. The over heating was actually a engine gone bye-bye. Now .... I decided to make it to work a three days before I planned to actually take my car in ..... I thought well I will be able to make it till then... nope... Going down 30 Hwy East after work following my co-worker and all of a sudden I was pressing the gas and going no where quick. So I pulled to the shoulder of the Hwy pulled out my phone and started calling people. Dallas courtesy patrol pulls up and tried to see if they could assist me. When I tell you they are the most useless people they are... they couldnt assist me unless I had a blown out tire or need water to replenish my radiator. I needed to get my car off the freeway now the truck they were in was equipped with a tow hitch but the passenger quickly told me oh we dont tow. then he proceeded to hand me a lists of tow companys that i could call..... I was thinking really....really.... and I stopped right were people are merging onto 635 Hwy. All bad.... I called David and he was nice enough to talk to me to calm me down. He knew I was a Drive-Time customer and my warranty covered the cost of my tow. he called a tow truck and got my car to the shop where they took no time to fix my car. They put a whole new engine in and now I am back rolling again! When I broke down just down the road, my roadside assistance defaulted to a small shop that I hadnt heard of (and who spelled car like Kar...with a K!) I immediately called my father in law and when he realized it was the transmission he told me to look up AAMCO as he used to work for one in a different state. I found that I was just about a mile away from AAMCO Dallas and immediately changed my tow location. Tony didnt rush the job, but rather kept the van for an extra night to ensure everything was in order. Even with the extra night I was only without my vehicle for 2 days! Such quick service! Someone also called me a week later to check in and invited me to bring the van back to check to see of everything is still in great shape. I appreciate that Tony and his shop care about their work. So many shops Ive experienced just want to get you in and out and forgrt you right away but not AAMCO in Dallas!

If you are a woman, or even if you are not, and know nothing about cars but need a place you can trust, this is the place. They were kind, honest and did what they said. What was very immpressive to me was that Tony, the manager, stayed in contat with my brother in Utah explaining what they were doing and why so he could explain it to me. I took my car in Thursday afternoon and picked it up the next day after they had replaced 2 broken motor mounts and compleatly rebuilt the transmission for a price lower than just the transmission I had been quoted elsewhere.My car runs better than ever and I will never take it anywhere else. One other thing I learned that might be helpful is dont just go by the mileage on you car to have the recomended maintenance done. Thats what I thought you were supposed to do, thats what the dealership recommend, however my car is 10 years old even thoughit only has 60,000 miles on it. Had they taken that into consideration I wouldnt have had the problem I did. It took Tony 5 minutes to figure it out. Thanks Tony, and everybody else at the shop.

(Apparently this is a thing that happens with my kind of transmission.) I went to Tony and his crew first thing in the morning. I could tell they were kind, professional, and honest. They got right to work, first trying to fix it for me, and then deciding it needed to be replaced. Professional and Courteous.I took my vehicle to this location after I had my oil changed at a local service station. The attendant at the service station told me that the transmission fluid was leaking. I was dismayed because I had the transmission repaired at Aamcos 3620 Inwood Rd. location 3 months earlier. This same location was professional when I brought the vehicle in and asked them to re-evaluate their repair work. I was notified that there was only a small leak around the oil pan due to external damage. They fixed the oil pan at no charge, and returned my car within one business day. I will definitely come back to this location in the future.

I brought the car in because it was slipping between 2nd and 3rd gears (slightly). After checking the vehicle, the technician determined that it was slight slipping in 2nd gear, and to bring it back when it gets worse, hopefully in 10 to 12 months.The Service Advisor Rahim was helpful, listened to the input, and had the technicians diagnose it, for free.Although it could be fixed at this stage, we might as well drive it to see if it progresses, and then bring the car back... what a refreshing response.I guess you know where we will be taking it after the slipping gets worse, AAMCO of Dallas!

I had car trouble late Monday night i was stuck at work i called my warranty company and was referred to mr tony Morales at AAMCO. i called and left a message around 10 p.m. mr morales called back immediately i told the problem i was having he told me to drop my car off and he will look at it in the morning.the next day he called me and explained the problem and said he would call the warranty co and let them know whats wrong..
