    My van broke down and this was the place I was towed. I slept in their parking lot. The next day, after hearing my story, the mechanic went to work. I was there til about 2 pm, and finally the van was running. THIS GUY WAS THE MECHANIC OF THE YEAR. And the owner, Sweety, was a wealth of info, along with humorous stories. The bill was so reasonable, I couldnt believe it. Great group of guys here.

    I was passing through town when my check engine light came on. They were able to squeeze me in to replace the air filter and clean the mass air flow filter at reasonable prices. My trip was only minimally disrupted.

    A-1 saved day!!! On a girls trip to Colo Springs from San Antonio TX, our suv started acting up so we pulled into A-1. Mechanic (Danny) Immediately attended to us, troubleshooting the problem, repaired the problem and in 1hr he sent us on our way. Thank you Danny!!!

    Great customer service! I brought my new-to-me car in for an oil change and a general assessment. The techs were knowledgeable and friendly!     Service was EXTREMELY GOOD! A-1 Service is the Premier auto service station for Dumas and surounding areas!! The whole crew was very polite, professional, and courteous from beginning to end!     My sister and I were traveling through on a long road trip and had few lights come on suddenly. Luckily we were close by and the gentlemen here were able to quickly look things over and get us back on the road. Both men we ran into were friendly and knowledgeable, and put our minds at ease.

    My son was on his way to Texas Tech in Lubbock, before he headed to Red Raider Camp in Brownwood, Texas and his fuel pump went out about 15 miles from Dumas on Friday. He was able to nurse it to Dumas. I called this shop a little after 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon. They got the car in diagnosed it and ordered the part. They replaced the fuel pump and had him back on the road by 1:30 p.m. the next day. I cannot thank them enough for helping him get back on the road.

    While traveling from Houston, TX to Ogden, UT, our cars shift lock button broke which left us stranded in Dumas.We called A-1 and let them know that we were just down the street at a gas station and they sent someone over in less than 10 minutes. They were able to fix our shift lock button in the parking lot of the gas station and refused to let us pay them for their time. A-1 Auto is hands-down the best auto service Ive ever dealt with. Were very grateful for their generosity and professionalism.

    My sons truck started to have engine failure several miles outside of Dumas on his way back to college yesterday. Thank you, A-1 for staying open past your closing time to look at his pick up once he got it there. Not only was A-1 very helpful and knowledgeable, they had our 19 year old back on the road at an affordable price the first thing the next morning. Thank yall. May 17, 2016.

    Power steering module worked loose and sheared off the two bolts that held it in place as we were coming into Dumas. Owner, Sweetie, worked us in quickly and mechanic extraordinaire, Daniel Morgas, removed the sheered bolts from from down inside the block by welding a piece of metal onto the end of the bolt and when cool, backed the out. Ouija!

    We were traveling through Dumas, TX from Galveston on our way to Colorado when we got a leak in our transmission. We stopped in and this shopped dropped everything to help us and get us back on the road...they were a God send to us. Thank you Sweetie and Daniel you will never know how much this meant to us.

    Came in for a chassis lube, they found that my exhaust was rubbing on the rear brake line and fixed it, getting me safely back on the road. A little pricey, but good work.
