    1st Response is easy to work with and very responsive! Tyler helped me fix one of my heating issues over the phone free of charge. For the other, he came out the same day and replaced a part in my air handler in less than an hour. He also gave great recommendations for improvements to extend the life of my systems. I will definitely be calling 1st Response next time I need AC/heat repairs!

    I’m very happy with the information and service that Tyler submitted today.     Tyler Word of 1st Response AC & Heating, Inc. should get a raise. I called for a repair after work around 5:30pm in the afternoon and 1st Response was able to see me the very same day. In the Texas summer this company was a real God send. Tyler even took the time to walk me through the repairs and teach me about my AC system every step of the way! The service was not rushed in any way and Tyler stayed until the repair was completed and I was happy with the service. I was so impressed that I signed up for their service program at only 20 dollars per month. Just from that one visit 1st Response has gained my trust. I look forward to doing business with them in the future!

    My a/c abruptly stopped blowing cold air so I reached out to 1st Response. They were very friendly and made adjustments in their schedule to quickly come out and investigate my issue.     This is my second time using 1st Response, first to fix the A/C, second time as part of the maintenance plan. Both times the techs were very nice and personable, and they really took the time to explain what the issues were and what options we had to fix them.     I’ve been using 1st response AC & Heating since i bought my house two years ago and have been happy with their service every time they have been out. I use their monthly subscription that is $15 a month that covers the summer AC tune up and a winter heat tune up , worth every penny. The service techs have always arrived within the appointment window and i even get call if they are going to show up near the back half of the service window to ensure it is still ok. Top notch customer service!

    Their is a reason they have 5 star ratings. I waited a couple of days to write the review because our AC had been “fixed” previously by a different company, and wanted to ensure results before writing a review. It really is fixed this time! I was impressed with the professionalism of the tech, Spencer. He was open to me joining him to look at what was going on, and even encouraged it. He was patient with my questions and thorough with his answers. I trust our HVAC unit is in good hands with this company.Edited to add that Tyler came out to look at our system today. He had some pretty neat tools that showed what temperature air was blowing out the vent, and with what “power.” Tyler was also very professional and friendly. I will continue to call 1st Response if I ever need to!

    Spencer from 1st Response was absolutely fantastic in his work. He was very much a person who engages with your questions and is happy to tell you everything he knows about your A/C system. Very nice and professional guy.He even showed me a few tips and tricks of certain ways to be able to diagnose issues with the unit myself. The repairman from another company I had come out last year did no such thing for me.I hadnt really decided on any particular HVAC repair company to do business with on my home before now, but Im definitely going to keep Spencer and 1st Response at the top of the list!As well, he used my backyard hose to clean off the outdoor unit and nicely coiled it up after he was done with it. And I guarantee you its way nicer than how I had it coiled when he got there!They do definitely have some extras you can buy for your system that, in my opinion, are a little much. But they might be better options for bigger families or people with asthma.

    I received same day service which I really appreciated. Joshua diagnosed and fixed my problem quickly. He explained everything he did. I bought the maintenance package which is so reasonable and gives me peace of mind. (There was no pressure to buy anything.) Joshua spent the next three hours cleaning my unit and making sure everything checked out. They will notify me when its time to do a check on my furnace in the fall. Cant say enough about the quality of service. The personnel in the office is friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend 1st Response!

    Just had a maintenance done on my A/C system by Spencer! Talk about great customer service from when I called Saturday to schedule a visit with Spencer being on call that day to Monday when Morgan called me first thing in the morning to get me on the calendar for the very same day! I truly wasn’t expecting to get helped until a week or so since it’s been so hot and I’m sure there are other client needs that take priority. Spencer also was able to show up earlier than anticipated and walked me through my whole system and showed me what they go through on the diagnostic. Even though this is by far my expertise I felt like a learned a little something. Turns out that I needed a little cleaning and a charge of refrigerant plus he recommended a few products to add to my system that I will be adding at a future time since the way he explained it made perfect sense. In addition, I signed up for the monthly maintenance plan that every homeowner should do to provide the much needed longevity of your A/C system in Texas!     These folks are great. Our home is a fairly new home and weve had this air temp sensor failed on us twice in the last 12 months. Those sensors were replaced by another company but neither of their techs was as thorough as Tyler. Tyler was professional, answered the questions I thought of while he was here. He was thorough, checked everything, including checking with our HVAC manufacturer to ensure everything was set up correctly. He even found and fix issues that we werent aware of.     Prior to replacing an evaporator coil, they had been on several service calls to our home and we were always impressed with the courteousness and professionalism. When the A/C broke last summer, they had a full day and were already booked solid, BUT a tech still came out to load my system with freon (or whatever the technical term is) that evening, so my family could sleep in comfort. They were at our house the next morning to replace the evaporator coil, and we had cool air by the afternoon.This company is top-notch! I trust they are giving me an honest recommendation; no over-selling here. They educate you when making their recommendations. When we go with a full system, we will definitely be using them. The last a/c company we used (NOT 1st Response) did not mention or perform a load calculation. Every heard of load calculation?? Me neither, but Tyler took his time to educate me on this. Be sure to talk about this if you are getting a full system.They offer maintenance packages, which I highly recommend. We will be customers for life!!

    Excellent customer service from the initial call to set up an appointment to the clear communication of the date of service. Both Spencer and Cole(I think) were amazing at their job and very understanding of how upset we are by the previous HVAC companies. We were one of the many families who fell victim of the Home Warrant Scam and Spencer and his team went above and beyond to make it right. We had a new unit installed less that 2 years ago by some company I won’t say through the HW company and they totally screwed it up. They made several unsafe and unprofessional installations for over $1000 out of our packet. We had to wait over a week to have a technician come and tell us “sorry there’s nothing I can do to fix it” and then told me we should have his company install a new unit.1st Response noticed all the inefficiencies and immediately rectified the situation and provided a solution in a very short amount of time for a Reasonable amount of money. Now we have 68 degree cold air all through the house and we’re not struggling in the 90+ degrees temperature inside my home.We now have an AC Repair team on call for any of our properties and won’t forget how fast they had us up as running.Thank you Spencer and team members

    From the first phone contact, I was confident I was hearing truth. I appreciated information and education instead of a sales pitch. I was offered nothing as a ‘free bonus’, yet the final price was many thousands less.     1st Response was super friendly and helpful when I called and sent out a technician within 3 hours which was also after-hours. Spencer was absolutely phenomenal! He quickly diagnosed and fix the problem within 15-20 minutes then did badly needed maintenance and added a safety mechanism to the furnace all within an hour total. He clearly and patiently answered all my questions and explained all benefits, charges, etc. His expertise and knowledge were impressive, and I had absolutely no doubt I was the highest level of service.     Tyler and Spencer have both been out to our home to investigate our AC issues with our 27 year old unit. We fought with multiple other companies who offered poor service and high prices, all while dealing with no air in the heat of the summer. Historic heat wave… compressor turned off… I panic because I cannot imagine surviving temperatures over 110 and a medical condition sensitive to heat. I called a number of companies and nobody had service available for several days. Called 1st Response after hours and Spencer rescued us. He was super quick and professional to diagnose the things broken and improperly done on our system, gave us recommendations and showed us how to do it if we wanted to fix them ourselves, and a reasonable quote for 1st Response to do the work. He also set up the system to still run temporarily while we wait to replace parts. Honestly, we will let them do the work based on that level of service alone!

    Excellent Customer Service and Communication, explained in detail the reasons our AC System wasnt cooling. Our AC quit cooling on Saturday night, called and spoke with Tyler on Sunday, he got us on the schedule for Monday between 10am- 12pm. Their office called me to inform me Steph was 15 minutes away. Around 10am Steph showed up and I explained the issue we were experiencing and he went to work. Found the issue, explained what was wrong and total cost. We had Steph fix our unit, he found 2 other items about our unit and cost, strictly up to us to correct the issues today or at another time. 2 issues had nothing to do with the reason for AC not cooling, no pressure sale tactics. The 2 small issues were something the builder D.R. Horton did not complete when the house was built in 2020. AC was repaired, 2 issues were corrected and The Bakers Household is comfortable again. I had 1 AC service company tell me they couldnt be there until Thursday or Friday, by then I would have moved or dead.     As with many homes in Eagle Ranch, our HVAC system started showing its age this Summer when the relentless heat settled in. Our system just couldn’t keep up so a service call was in order. After comparing some recommendations on this App and reviews online we decided to call 1st Response AC and Heating Inc. They are a small business local to this area. Tyler is the owner and Spencer was the technician who performed that initial service call. Right away he struck me as a straight shooter who was abundantly knowledgeable in his chosen career field. He came across as genuine and he explained his test procedures throughly without trying to talk over my head. I have a pretty good understanding of HVAC system operations to start with, but no doubt he would be able to make even the most uneducated customer comfortable and able to make an informed decision.We ended up purchasing an entirely new Trane heat pump system (they are a certified Trane installer). We decided it was a worthwhile home investment. Especially to update to one that is more energy efficient and also employs more eco-friendly refrigerant (from R22 to R410A). It came with the piece of mind of a 10 year transferable warranty and we qualified for the 0% financing. Entire installation went off today without a hitch! Therefore I highly recommend them for all your home HVAC needs.

    Replaced our 5 ton 13 SEER “Goodman” (limp along system that we babied with for the past 3 years with a variable-speed 18 SEER Trane in our solar powered all electric house.
