    Great place to relax at the beach! We have come here every year for over 10 years. The grounds are nice, the pool is always clean and the direct beach access is amazing. The one complaint is the beach is public now instead of private like it has been in the past. The cars driving by were worrisome for the kids running on the beach. But overall a pretty good value for beach views and walkable access to whitecap beach!

    Me and my family took a mini get away and we wanted to be close to the beach. We were giving room #305 a side view. It was perfect. Easy access to the beach and what I love the most is that they have a balcony and you are able to enjoy the view. Everyone was friendly. Everything so clean and tidy. The pool was so much fun as well. Happy they even had a small one for my 1 year old to enjoy his trip as well. Thank you for my last minute reservation I will be back 10/10

    First time staying here and it is a hidden gem. Most of the people we met during our stay have been taking family vacations to IH for years through multiple generations.This is not a 5 star resort … it’s a homey little throwback to slower times in life. The old time beach hotel is the exact feel you will get here. Check in and out was a breeze. The condos are individually owned so decor and interior up keep is arranged by the owner. Our room was clean and accommodations were just what we needed. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, utensils, but bring your own spices . The unit had a side view and it was beautiful 🏝️☀️.The ability to walk out and in less than 5 min be on the beach without driving was great. The pool was clean and plenty of furniture for lounging .. we spent a whole day at the pool. There are gas grilles available and showers/hoses to clean off when you get back from the beach.The ability to arrange for beach tents/chairs is a plus. They do have a small commissary for things you left behind and ice (not a bargain but you pay for the convenience).Overall the 5 day trip was one of the best I’ve had in Corpus. Would definitely stay again. Any improvements made by owners or the facility will just be an added benefit to staying at Island House.Added notes I forgot: unlike Air B&B/VRBO .. no fees!!!!! No cleaning fees unless you want the unit cleaned while you are there during your stay or you leave it a mess. No parking fees … no resort fees .. so when they quote you a rate it’s the rate.

    I have been coming down here since I was born 32 years ago! I have made so many memories down here with my family and cannot wait to make more with my own little family. The staff are amazing and love having the beach as my backyard. It’s my happy place and would recommend it as a great place to bring the family!

    Great place to stay. Right on the beach they have shades for hot days. The room we stayed in was water front and newly remodeled. Would highly recommend!!

    Our room was very nice and clean. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed. 1 couch, 1 love seat, 1 chair, dining room table, bar with 3-4 stools. Kitchen with fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher, some dishes, enough for our 8 to use. Has a very nice pool area with a hot tub and covered grilling area. We walked to the beach right behind the condo. There was a wall with steps/bleachers at the beach, which made it very convenient to watch the dollar eclipse. The only real issues we had were that if pulled hard enough the door could be pulled open without our key card, so they came and fixed that, and one of our satellite boxes for the TV did not work. Definitely would stay there again. Reasonable price.

    We have been here on vacation several times. This place is a family staple for us. My mom has been here when she was a child and she gave the same experience to me when I was younger. We come here almost every year, and we have been here in summer, fall, and spring, with the place being great year round. The rooms are always clean and very nice, the staff is very friendly and the location is great with it being so close to the beach. It has a private beach attached, so no outside cars can get in, meaning that you can always find a spot to set up. They used to have a cat named George, but it unfortunately passed away in 2023. I recommend this place 100%.

    A rare beach boardwalk in Corpus Christi. Absolutely beautiful view. While I like the dunes I also appreciate. A well crafted and sturdy man made object. Now that they have added into this beach its a great place to do yoga

    The view the view the view! Not a bad place to lay your head and wake up at. The air in the room was heavy with humidity. Which is understandable being run off the Gulf. Would have been awesome if there was a dehumidifier, but we made do. We cranked up the AC which definitely took care of the problem. Thanks Daddy-o! Everything was clean and felt welcoming. And the young lady who we checked in was polite. It is also amazing that the beach is a skip away and is private. They also have canopies available for rent. If swimming in the beach is not your thing after a nice walk along side of it hop in the pool. We would definitely stay here again. Do not forget to bring a kite.

    Island House Beachfront Condos are the best place to stay in Corpus Christi, if you want to stay directly on the beach. They have the best location, a private beach with awesome cabanas to rent, and the rooms are all really nice too! I rarely stay anywhere else, when I travel to the Corpus Christi area!

    I used to come here during the summer as a kid with my mom. It is just as much fun as I remembered. It was really cool being able to take my kids now and them have the same fun experience.Rooms were clean and neat. Plenty of space for my family of 4.Lots to do. The beach is 20 steps away. The pool is blocked from the wind making it relaxing. And if you get too much sun the rooms have more then enough table space and room for games and playing. Our family will be back.

    Stayed here for a few days to enjoy some time away from home. When arriving, the interior was different due to being renovated and it looked amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The private beach access is amazing. Island House also supplies a few canopies and chairs (first come, first serve) on the beach. Honestly had an amazing experience with my family there.

    This little property is probably Corpus best kept secret. On the outside it doesnt look like much but inside the unit was so clean and comfortably appointed. It was spacious and had everything you could need for a turn around to several day long getaway. The staff were so nice, Lauren at the front desk, all the staff whom assisted in bringing chairs to the beach, very polite, very nice. The direct beach access is to die for. The beach is clean, isolated and directly behind the property just footsteps. I will definitely be back.

    Absolutely lovely. The room that we had was 3 bathrooms 4 separated bedrooms with 6 beds total. And they have wifi, a kitchen, washer and dryer, as well as a section of the beach that is blocked off from cars driving on it. They also have the option for you to rent a big awning, for shade on the beach, which they set up and take down for you.

    There were some minor things that could have made the stay five stars, like the bed was too firm for my taste, and the couch was in need of a vaccum, however being steps from the beach, made it all worth it. The place is kept nice, and the pool/bbq area was really great. The front desk staff was super friendly, I would definitely look passed the minor issues and would stay again. My family and I made some very special memories, and enjoyed our time together. Thank you everyone for all of your hard work, and friendliness.

    We really liked the view from our 3rd floor ocean side view room. The access to the beach was awesome. The private beach had tiny little crabs and plenty of birds for us to see (we really like the birds that run fast, I dont know what they are called). The pool was warm and clean. We didnt hear any other guests outside while we were sleeping. We did encounter multiple instance of cigarette smoke, which was aggravating as our son has issues with his oxygen levels, and we understood this was supposed to be a smoke free property, but we did not report it to the building. We also reserved a 1 king, 1 queen room, but were provided a 1 king, 2 twin room. We did not complain to management about this either as my mother in law said she was ok with it and we were exhausted from our drive. The staff was nice, there are a few cats that appear to live on site, they were cute in my opinion, despite one jumping in our rental car so that was interesting lol. Overall, we were very pleased with the stay, just a couple of issues keeping it from being 5 stars.

    Very clean property and well maintained. The rooms were nice and plenty of space for 4 people in a two bedroom condo. A few picky reasons for a 4 star rating are the showers are extremely low in the unit we were in. They barely came up to my under arm. Secondly the kitchen was sparse in comparison to other units. Our unit was number 307

    Every time I come visit with my family, we always choose this location. For years weve always loved to come here. The staff is friendly, and ensures satisfaction. The rooms are always neat, clean, and absolutely beautiful. I love how close it is to the beach, and how the pool is directly in the center. The view is always amazing, and this location is the reason why I have a much nicer time visiting the beach.

    Great Place Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Loved that its right on the beach, Awesome views. Only complaint I wish the main bedroom had a door for privacy. Other than that cant wait to go back!

    The 4 bedroom condo is one of the nicest Ive ever stayed in. Beautifully furnished, very clean, amazing windows! The kitchen is well stocked and there is ample storage space for clothes and beach gear - it even has its own washer and dryer. I just wish there was a way to keep the outside of the windows clean so we could better enjoy the view of the ocean.

    What a wonderful experience we had! From front desk to maintenance to housekeeping, they were all helpful, friendly and very polite. The room was very clean. The upgrades were amazing. The pool was very clean, as well as the grounds. The price was very affordable. We will definitely stay there again, SOON!

    Love this place, been staying at the Island House with my family since 1985. My only complaint is that some of the condos have been updated and some have not. Location location location, this faculty has the best location on the island, with direct beach access. Will never stay anywhere else when going to the texS beach

    A spectacular View if your room is on the beach side. Its worth the extra expense. The only reason it would not have five stars is because the elevator sometimes didnt work, even with 3 kids and a room on the third floor it still gets four stars even after lugging everything up. Weve been there many times and is always a great experience.

    This has been our go to travel destination for 4 years. Spacious and clean rooms, friendly and capable staff, and... Oh that view! Recent renovations have made it even better (cards instead of keys for room access and newer concreted walks around the campus.) Utilizing the shaded grilling gazebo by the pool is not only fun, but itll save you a lot on those pesky restaurant bills too!

    We absolutely LOVE coming to the CC Island House Condominiums. It feels like coming home to my husband and me. Cynthia, Maria, and all the staff treat us like family! I think this trip is about the 12th time weve come here over the last several years. Condos are always so clean and inviting! Sooooo many amenities! Outdoor pool, grilling area, laundry room, daily towel service, great little shop in the office, gated access to the beach! Already cant wait to come back!

    I’ve been staying there for 40 years. It’s not an elegant, upscale place, but it’s clean and the staff is very friendly. The location on the beach is terrific. I love to be there off-season. The “winter Texans” are a lot of fun.

    These are really great condos to stay in if you go to Padre Island. The condo was two bedrooms, two full baths, living area, and a full kitchen. The kitchen even comes with coffee maker, blender, dishes, utensils, glasses, cups, and pots/pans. It was immaculately clean also! One adjustable shower head in one bath did not work, but that was the only issue with this place. Housekeeping comes by everyday to clean the condo and give you ample amounts of clean towels. Plenty of parking available. Two buildings of these condos face the sides of the property with the third directly facing the beach. But for each of the side buildings there is a path, with a fresh water cleaning station, that leads directly to the beach. The property is also directly next to the road that gives your vehicle direct beach access. I highly recommend this property for all your vacation/weekend getaways!

    Love Love Love this place. The building itself is a little dated but you cant get closer to the beach.Pools are clean, staff is friendly. Our baby monitor worked while we were on the beach making it perfect for her naps.

    I highly recommend Island House! Our family stayed there on several vacations and loved every minute! The place was very clean, the staff is exceptional and quite accommodating. Many many terrific memories, my husband has passed away and I am thankful this place is a part of my memories!

    My family has been coming here for 25 years. Every November we rent out condos for a week and spend Thanksgiving together. Each unit has a kitchen with basic eating and food prep utensils. Beach front rooms with amazing views. A pool, propane grills open for use. No dogs allowed but cats live on the property. Bathrooms are kind of dated but thats the only flaw I can think of.

    Room and facilities were well kept location was a step away from beach we were able to fish from beach no need for us to really drive any where the pool was heated it was nice and warm even at night the pool is 3ft to 8ft deep loved the rinse station on way back from beach not trail back alot of sand into room

    ~~~BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK! YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FIND A HOTEL/CONDO CLOSER TO THE WATER THAN CCISLAND HOUSE. WE STAY HERE 3-5 TIMES A YEAR. YOU REALLY HAVE TO LOOK HARD TO FIND SOMETHING WRONG. OUT OF ALL THE TIMES IVE STAYED, ONCE THE RECLINER HAD A GLOB OF GREY TAPE ON THE HANDLE. THE ROOMS ARE PRIVATELY OWENED. SO SOME ARE CONTEMPARY, AND OTHERS JUST HAVE TRADITIONAL BEACH HOUSE FEEL. AT THE END IF THE DAY IF YOU WANT ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO PAY DOUBLE THE AMOUNT. COMPARE CCISLAND HOUSE TO PORT ROYAL OR CINNAMON SHORES
