We stayed at 2110 De Verne in the Zilker neighborhood for 5 months. Brian, the host, was incredibly responsive and welcoming as well as flexible with our schedule. We were displaced from our home in Round Rock due to a remodel and our timeline for completion kept changing. The Zilker house was well equipped and we especially enjoyed the decor, ample living space, and location of this gem of a house. The neighborhood and neighbors were also great and very safe. Walked several miles of it daily and took advantage of all the restaurants and coffee shops that were walkable. We’d definitely stay again for sure and highly recommend the house.

Stayed at this house for 10 days this October and loved it. Location was perfect as we walked to two restaurants that were recommended by the host. My son also walked to a local gym to work out.TV had virtually every channel and the WiFi was lightening fast. Appliances including the washer/dryer were very convenient. The host had some of the best communication Ive seen in short term rentals. There was no crazy check out procedures which made leaving easy.Highly Recommend!!!!!!

OK. If you want a genuine 5 star experience, this is the place to trust. We recently completed a 2 1/2 week stay in the 1629 Waterston Avenue Cottage and it was quite literally, the best VRBO experience in our much traveled history. From the correspondence with the Hosts initially all the way through checkout. Brian is as good as it gets in ensuring your stay is everything you want it to be, A very personal, but certainly not intrusive in any way, touch to hosting your stay. Honestly, my wife and I now consider Brian a friend because of his professional and personal attention.Furnished Housing pays attention to the details in their homes. They have extensive experience in managing both short and long term rentals and it shows in the cleanliness, comfort touches, decorations, furnishings, communication, etc.Our stay was intended to be one week - we were there due to a remodel of our home in Western Travis County. We had to extend twice while there and Brian was so gracious in accommodating us. As ready as we were to get back to our home, we hated to leave the property because it was so warm and homey, and because of the attention we received from the owners. Like I say, we live in Austin and we are honestly planning another stay in Clarksville at this property because of our experience. As a CPA in public practice for many years, I intimately understand what a quality company looks like. This is a QUALITY COMPANY and if I was not retired, Id be asking for their business because of my overall experience. In summary - run, dont walk, if you have the opportunity to stay at one of these rentals. I give Furnished Housing and its owners the HIGHEST of reviews!

Rented this cottage on very short notice as my renovation was taking unexpectedly longer. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating to my needs! The cottage is full of fun old Austin energy and the location can’t be beat! Clean, well kept, and everything was in expected order. Would definitely recommend!

We loved staying here. It’s in a great walkable and safe neighborhood near several great restaurants, a cafe and grocery store and easy to get anywhere in the city. The space was a comfy, clean and stylish home base for our visit to Austin and had everything we needed for our stay. The king bed was especially comfortable! Thank you Brian for such a nice home away from home.

I stayed at this well designed spacious and private bungalow located smack dab in the center of the charming pedestrian Clarksville neighborhood for a week while in town visiting my daughter and working on a photo project and I’m most definitely looking forward to future visits.

Awesome place to stay! Can’t say enough! Probably my favorite Airbnb/vrbo rental I have ever stayed in. Adorable 1940s cottage in the heart of the best neighborhood in Austin (Clarksville). Very well appointed including an electric car charger. Well stocked kitchen and laundry room. Private parking space off the street right outside your door. Comfortable beds, great work station and entertainment options (cable and YouTubetv subscriptions). Short walk from some of the best restaurants in Austin. Great grocery store down the street too. Easy to find and access. And the host is top-notch - super responsive, easy to communicate with, freely giving of local knowledge. Zero complaints - if you have the opportunity to stay here, do it and you won’t regret it. A great home base for your Austin adventure!

My mother stayed here for a week to visit us and help with our kids. We live in the neighborhood. She loved her stay here and had fun playing with the kids and baking for all of us. Brian, our host, was great! This place is superbly located near Fresh Plus, Josephine House and Jeffreys, and also Medici Coffee. The cottage is its own building and is very private. It has all the amenities you would need for a stay in Austin. Enjoy!

We had a very comfortable and peaceful stay in the studio, which is well fitted out. The bed was extremely comfortable, plenty of hot water, a useful kitchen and laundry, and excellent wifi. Everything we needed, and then a super neighborhood for walking, decent restaurants and groceries. Our hosts were friendly and helpful but never intrusive. Would be very happy to stay here again.

Great find!!

Brians cottage was perfect for our four-day Austin stay. It was a great, comfortable size for two people. Lots of awesome art and wood details throughout. The linens, towels and dishes were good quality and the provided K-Cups were a great added touch. The house is in a really neat and walkable part of town. If/when I go back to Austin, Im definitely going to try to stay at one of Brians properties.

  • Review 12 (2020-10-25 - Rating: 5)

Had a most enjoyable visit to Austin thanks in no small part to my stay in the Clarksville cottage. Excellent location, beautiful setting with a great deck, wonderful neighborhood, lots of privacy. Hardly any comparison to the extended hotel where I previously stayed--more spacious, much better appointed, awesome kitchen--and for roughly the same cost. Owner/staff very responsive and easy to work with.

  • Review 13 (2020-04-25 - Rating: 5)

Such a charming house in a quirky Austin neighborhood! The owners are easy going and accommodating and the space is cozy and makes you really feel like a local. Great restaurants in walking distance and plenty of great scenery and walking paths nearby. Nice walk to a great dog park (Red Bud Isle) or to other nearby neighborhoods. Perfect jumping off point to see many of Austin’s multiple personalities.

  • Review 14 (2019-12-01 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful place in a great location! After a 5 hour drive to Austin with no place to stay because my initial booking with a different host fell through, Brian saved the day. Even though it was later in the evening, he was quick to respond. Great communication. Check-in was easy and the place is beautiful. The studio has everything you need and restaurants are within walking distance. I highly recommend the modern guest house studio!

  • Review 15 (2018-08-14 - Rating: 5)

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at one of the Furnished Housing cottages during a weekend trip to Austin. We loved the experience. We were conveniently located near downtown, south Austin and the UT campus, not to mention quick highway access, all while feeling like we were in a secluded quiet neighborhood. I enjoyed walking to a nearby coffee shop, Cafe Medici, for excellent coffee and breakfast tacos each morning. We were impressed by the unique interior design that made us feel like we were definitely in Austin. Plus, the place was packed with modern amenities and appliances. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Will definitely recommend and look to them first for future trips to Austin.

  • Review 16 (2016-04-21 - Rating: 5)

I have stayed at establishments around the United States and internationally and this was the first time to use Airbnb. Our cottage C we stayed at in Austin was top of the line. Brian, the owner, was very kind and helpful, easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We had no hassle when needing to add an additional night. The outside seating areas were welcoming with coffee shops and eating establishments within walking distance. It is very conveniently located and easy to navigate to all areas of Austin. The whole cottage was spotless with everything you would need. Brian is an exceptional host and made sure everything was just perfect. I look forward to staying at any of his establishments. Great job, Brian !

I lived in the Studio Guest house for 5 months and this is by far my favorite place to be when it comes to staying to Austin. Not only is the neighborhood beautiful and safe but the property itself is very unique and special.Inside the home, the appliances are top of the line, from the fridge to the oven to the amazing coffee machine, the entire kitchen is gorgeous. The kitchen includes all the dishes and utensils youll ever need and the dishwasher even sings to you!!The Studio guest house is VERY clean, which is one of the main reasons I chose this place. The decor is very thoughtful and modern and the nicest bathroom that Ive ever had the pleasure to use everyday. Management was very attentive and I had no problems and no complaints. My favorite thing about this neighborhood is all the cool restaurants in walking distance. This is a perfect neighborhood for families or anyone basically who wants to feel at home.Everything is included when you stay at this property: washer and dryer, indoor heating and A/C, and youre own beautiful yard. There is any other place I would rather stay and it was very hard for me to leave.Top notch neighborhood! Top notch management! Top notch guest house!!!!

My fiancé and I took our first trip to Austin and decided to stay at the very comfortable and charming cottage in Austin, TX. The entire experience was tremendous. Starting with Bryan the host and owner of the property. Bryan is very relaxed, always available and professional through and through. He is a tremendous host to a tremendous property. This Austin cottage is a lovely property in a lovely neighborhood. The neighborhood is full of pedestrians out walking their dogs and enjoying coffee assisting in giving it even further charm. It a few blocks away from a wine bar and a very convenient grocery store where you can get anything you desire from fresh produce, coffee, alcohol, deli, and food. It has it all. The location couldnt be better for what we wanted to do. It is close to the highway for easy access in and out. Its also ~2 miles from UTs campus. An ideal stay if you want to go to a Longhorns game. Its ~2.5 miles from 6th street and Rainey St. Ubers come in minutes and are abundant to take you anywhere. The property has two big bedrooms and a joining restroom in the middle. The kitchen is outstanding and we spent a lot of time lounging in the living room with the screen door open and our puppy monitoring the pedestrians out the window. This is our first choice of lodging in Austin and will always be as long as Bryan owns the property and is available for explorers like us. Highly recommend staying here as you will love what it all has to offer. ZackJune 2022

We recently stayed at Brians place over the weekend. It was a perfect little fully-restored cottage in an awesome part of Austin. The place was packed with character and Brian provided us with as much help and supplies as wed ever need. The area was perfect as we were a short walk from multiple great restaurants. We will definitely be looking Brian up again for our next trip to Austin.

  • Review 20 (2015-04-30 - Rating: 5)

We loved Brians place. This studio is quite amazing. Its located in a very cool, desirable neighborhood in Austin and is walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops and stores (like 2 blocks.) The studio is also only about 2 miles from downtown Austin ($5-7 Uber ride to most places) or a very safe and beautiful walk. The studio its self is modern, immaculate and very cool. I much preferred these accommodations to any of the downtown hotels that I stayed at in the past. I will go out of my way to try to stay here again.....it made one of my favorite cities even better.

  • Review 21 (2015-07-30 - Rating: 5)

My husband and I recently spent 2 1/2 months in the studio in Austin. We felt it was quite large for a studio and very comfortable. All of the amenities were top notch - kitchen, great modern bath, large closet with full-size washer and dryer, and a large TV! The grounds around the property were lovely and there were seats on the deck for relaxing. The neighborhood was quiet and close to a few really nice restaurants and a grocery store. It was also easy to travel downtown. I also want to say that Brian was very easy to work with; he gave us lots of information about the area and was very helpful when we had questions. I highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Austin!

  • Review 22 (2022-06-09 - Rating: 5)

Lovely, well-managed property in a central, historic Austin neighborhood. Architecturally well-conceived design, and comfortably furnished by owner. Clarksville is a quiet area, yet offers quick access to freeway, downtown and other desirable areas. Short walk to markets and local restaurants. Our five week stay in The Studio really flew by! For the growing number of travelers owning EVs, it is worth underscoring that this property offers a 40A charger. We never had to worry about range. No negatives to report, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

  • Review 23 (2016-08-24 - Rating: 5)

My fiancee and I stayed at this cottage for our most recent trip to Austin and we were quite happy with our choice after arriving. It was easy to access, well-maintained, very neat, with tons of natural light. Everything we needed was there, along with very clear instructions and directions. Its in a great location in a quiet neighborhood. Well DEFINITELY be looking to return there for our next trip back to Austin!

  • Review 24 (2018-11-05 - Rating: 5)

Awesome, cosy cottage that felt like home! The cottage is in an ideal Austin neighbourhood, close to downtown, the expressway, and within walking distance of an excellent grocer and great restaurants. The cottage itself is comfortable and well-appointed, with some funky decor touches that added to my stay. There is a really nice patio area with a gas grill. I would stay in this rental again!

  • Review 25 (2016-07-05 - Rating: 5)

My wife and I stayed at this quaint house multiple times and plan on returning the next time we are in Austin. The cottage is located in the beautiful historic neighborhood of Clarksville and is within walking distance to grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, trails, parks, and of course downtown Austin. The neighbors were friendly and the restaurants had great food and service. The cottage itself is a beautiful historic home that includes all the conveniences you would want like a full kitchen, dishwasher, gas stove, a new HVAC system, flat screen TV fully equipped with premium cable channels and netflix, washer, and dryer. Both bedrooms have comfy beds and were always dressed in the softest sheets. The property also has multiple outdoor sitting areas that are great for a morning cup of coffee. The owner Brian is very friendly and was always very attentive and responsive to all of our needs. He knows a lot about the Austin area and was always able to give us great advice on local restaurants, parks and activities. We love staying here because Clarksville is a great little neighborhood that is convenient to everything that Austin has to offer. Its a comfortable stay and feels like home. I highly recommend staying at this cottage if you get the chance.

  • Review 26 (2021-03-07 - Rating: 5)

I moved to Austin a few months ago and stayed at the cottage on Waterston for a couple months until I found longer term housing. I would happily recommend this property to others. The location is amazing, theres plenty to do right there in Clarksville but you could also walk to downtown if you dont mind a longer walk. My husband would run to the river trails from the cottage. The little garden yard in the back was the perfect size for a covid friendly drink with friends and also great for our dogs. Brian is super friendly, responsive, and even helped us track down a pair of shoes that accidentally got delivered to the cottage months after wed moved out. Didnt realize how spoiled we were with the location but now looking at other places and part of town realize we very much were!

  • Review 27 (2016-04-29 - Rating: 5)

This beautiful studio was spacious and very comfortable. It included a modern kitchen, comfortable furniture and even a couple of well appreciated recliners! The bathroom was immaculate (it was well appointed like a first-rate hotel). The studio comes with an off-street parking space. It is located in a quiet and charming neighborhood with shops and restaurants nearby. The owner communicated well, and we had no problems at all. We would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Austin.

  • Review 28 (2015-07-12 - Rating: 5)

Myself and a roommate had the opportunity to stay at Brians place for 5 months [January through May]. Let me tell you, it was a wonderful experience! The neighborhood is historic, charming, and has everything you need. There is a local grocery store, pharmacy, dry cleaners, coffee shop, and at least 5 delicious restaurants just down the BLOCK, within walking distance. Plus, the cottage is so close to down town, UT, and the capital. It has a GREAT location. Whether youre coming for a weekend or an extended stay, you cannot get more central than this quaint cottage in Clarksville. As for the cottage -- it is charming, well decorated and well cared for. They recently did renovations and improvements on the house and property so you have the best of everything - new appliances, new bathroom, new furniture all within a lovely historic cottage. It also has a wonderful front porch, washer and dryer. The best part was the attentiveness of Brian and Phil. They were available via email or telephone, willing to help with whatever came up. They are excellent at what they do and it shows. You should definitely stay here!

  • Review 29 (2015-04-19 - Rating: 5)

What a great spot to enjoy Austin. The Clarksville neighborhood is close enough to Downtown, while retaining a quiet homey charm. The Studio I rented for the week was a refreshing change from the typical downtown hotel room. Walking distance to several restaurants and the outdoor seating area was a great spot for a evening meal.

Stayed in the tiny cottage for several months. The house is well furnished and the back deck is relaxing and nice for entertaining company. Beautiful wooded area to observe from the deck while still being in the heart of Austin. The hardwood floors, kitchen appliances, and all around windows in the bedroom provide a cozy at home feel. Brian takes pride in his properties and works to provide anything you may need during your stay. It has been a joy. Thank you Furnished Housing in Austin.

  • Review 31 (2016-03-02 - Rating: 5)

I live in Austin but stayed in the studio for a few days when I had to get out of my apartment. Brian met me at the house and showed me around--you can tell he really cares about your experience. He even checked in with me after a day or two to make sure I was having a good time. (I was.) He also allows dogs, which is not at all universal among similar properties (I know because I looked!) and he was very welcoming to mine. The studio is very cool, with very high ceilings and ribbon windows way up high but also at floor level--a brushed concrete floor with modern furniture make it a beautiful and fashionable space. It is nicer and more spacious than the pictures make it seem. The furniture is both high quality and interesting. As other reviewers mentioned, all appliances are new and top-of-the-line, and I loved that there was a washer/dryer. The sheets are soft and the towels are fluffy. Its a fantastic neighborhood---I used to live in New York City and if this means anything to anyone, its the West Village of Austin. This is a pocket that you might not just stumble upon. It is very quiet, but dense enough that you can walk to both a grocery store and a bunch of stores and restaurants, including some of Austins less-known landmarks like Neus Pharmacy and Sledd Nursery. There is a lot of interesting architecture to see just walking around.

  • Review 32 (2018-08-08 - Rating: 5)

This place is a gem! It is beautifully appointed, spacious, comfortable and quirky -- very Austin. It is snuggled in a wooded area but a block or two from restaurants, cafes, shops and parks. The kitchen and private courtyard were especially nice. Brian was so helpful. Check in was a breeze. We look forward to another stay in Austin at the Eclectic cabin in the capitol city. Highly recommended

  • Review 33 (2016-08-24 - Rating: 5)

Have actually stayed here twice. Both times were excellent.Location is fantastic just outside the heart of downtown Austin. A spirited walk or cheap Uber ride to everything, especially the unbelievable bar, food, and music scene there. Plus, the Mexican place on the corner (Zocolo or something) is outstanding.Cottage is beautiful, cozy and ridiculously charming, with everything we wanted. Comfy beds, clean, wifi, great kitchen, nice living room area, laundry, and parking. But best of all, it is perfectly unique and quirky, just like Austin. After staying here, I dont think I could ever stay in a hotel in Austin again.Perfect stays both times. Id live there if I could.

  • Review 34 (2015-04-27 - Rating: 5)

The studio was absolutely amazing! So much thought went into the design and layout--this property is one of the best furnished rentals Ive come across and the owners professionalism, efficiency, and hospitality just made it exceptional. It is conveniently located, quiet, and definitely a place to put on your shortlist if you like visiting Austin.

  • Review 35 (2016-02-20 - Rating: 5)

We stayed in Bungalow A for more than a month and it was a nice, cozy fit for us. The house is well furnished and the kitchen is outfitted for real cooking! That was a first in our rental experience! Having cable TV and free laundry also were a big plus and not a given for short-term rentals. We also enjoyed exploring the eclectic Clarksville neighborhood and having a good grocery store and top restaurants within easy walking distance. We highly recommend staying in this sweet little house!

  • Review 36 (2014-11-22 - Rating: 4)

The cottage is very charming and seems fully equipped for a short term rental. Kitchen wasnt huge but has everything you need. The reproduction antique stove was amazing.I talked to a lot of regular corporate housing companies before finding this place. Most couldnt even tell me what my apartment would even look like. But Brian seemed to take a very personal interest in what I needed. And he owns this property himself so he could answer every question I had and had a lot of useful information for anybody not familiar with Austin. They also provide a really good welcome letter with neighborhood information in the house when you get there. They also email it to you.I considered a short term apartment rental in a downtown highrise but this cottage in this really great central location felt more like real Austin to me. I used Uber to get around and anywhere I wanted to go downtown as around $10 and less than ten minutes to get there. Most nights I just walked to dinner on West Lynn Street.Beds were very comfortable. Back bedroom gets great morning light. Plenty of outdoor space which I wouldnt have got in a highrise. The Wifi was really strong including outdoors.Great neighborhood. Hard to say how long it will be around as its so close to downtown that developers must be really pushing to tear these great little houses down and put huge million dollar houses up.

  • Review 37 (2014-12-09 - Rating: 5)

Terrific place. Wanted to stay in the modern studio but the owner said its still under renovation. It is a really really convenient location. There are enough restaurants in walking distance to satisfy most people. And downtown is maybe five minutes by car. Great area to walk around in.The house was bright and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen isnt huge but we dont cook much. No complaints about anything.

  • Review 38 (2015-03-24 - Rating: 4)

I stayed in the modern studio building that is right on the corner. I am not sure but I think there are two other short term rentals on the property.I may have been the second or third tenant. The owner Bryan asked if there was anything that needed fixing since everything was new but everything worked very well.It was a great place. I was only there for four days but I found it to be most comfortable. The bathroom and the kitchen were both exceptionally nice. Overall it has a very modern clean feeling but its not cold or harsh like some modern places. It has extremely high ceilings and feels a lot larger than it is. It has a huge washer and dryer but I never needed to use that. The kitchen had a KCup coffee machine which was really nice. I have the same one at home. I had a friend stay over one night on the leather futon. She said it was surprisingly comfortable. The remote control for the blinds was confusing but then I didnt read the instructions that the owner hand left until the next day.If you stay here you should try Josephine House for cocktails or dinner It is one block away.

My business partner and I stayed in the studio guest house for the first weekend of the SXSW festival and absolutely loved it! The layout and decor is just right and it is so easily accessible to/from Downtown Austin. Brian left extremely helpful instructions for anything we may have had a question about and also had fantastic suggestions as well. I highly recommend!

  • Review 40 (2018-08-12 - Rating: 5)

Stayed in the guest studio for about 4 months. High quality lodging for a short stay or a longer stay if in town on business. A great neighborhood and location to explore Austin from. Short bike ride to downtown and walking distance to several great restaurants. Thanks Brian!

  • Review 41 (2015-05-22 - Rating: 5)

This place was terrific. I would definitely stay here again. It isnt the least expensive furnished place you will find in Austin but it is worth the money.I stayed in April 2015 for five days. The owner asked me to review online. Im not a big online reviewer but for this place I agreed. I booked through an online travel site. Its a little hard to describe. It is a modern cedar and concrete structure guest house on a big corner lot with two other houses. But its out on the front of the lot, so its not like its stuck in some backyard or such. It sits right on the corner, in a really nice landscaped area. The owners clearly went to a lot of work on this place. Its not huge - around 600 to 700 square feet, but its more than comfortable for two people. The ceilings are very high. Its an open space but the sleeping area has nice privacy screens around it. Everything is modern but comfortable. Thats not always the case with modern architecture.Kitchen and bath are amazing. Kitchen is very well set up.The location cant be beat. You can be downtown in five or ten minutes by car. You can be at Town Lake (the Colorado River, for you out of towners) in five minutes. We took Uber several times. It was about $7 to go anywhere downtown, and it was never more than a few minutes to get one.Theres four or five really good restaurants one block away. Cippolina has fantastic thin crust pizza. Looks very upscale but actually prices are ok. Fresh Plus grocery one block away is I think the original location of what became Whole Foods eventually. Its got a huge wine and beer selection, and a great deli.Theres a lot of outdoor seating also. The corner gets a lot of breeze so Id imagine even in summer itd be nice, at least at night. Not much else to say. A few small things. The electronic locks are great. You dont have to remember to take keys. And there were even USB ports and electrical outlets set up on the bedside table and in the living area so you dont have to hunt down an electrical outlet to charge your phone and laptop. The WIFI was blazing fast. The owner says its the new ATT 1 gibabyte service. The TV is massive but we arent really TV watchers so other than the local news we didnt use it much. There were little bath soaps, shampoo, conditioner, etc. when we arrived. That was a nice touch. There were also about ten K-Cups for the Keurig coffeemaker. That was also a nice touch. There was a black binder filled with local restaurant recommendations, some neighborhood history, and a lot of other useful information. We didnt drive but theres parking for one vehicle right next to the property. But it has a large oak tree over it, so likely wouldnt be good for a tall truck or SUV.In summary this was a really unusual place in great shape in a fantastic location. It is well worth it.

  • Review 42 (2015-04-14 - Rating: 5)

Wow! This set the bar high for subsequent airbnb experiences. The newly renovated studio is terrific with many high-end upgrades including remote, electronic shades for the upper windows in this spacious home with 16-foot ceilings! The massive LED flat-screen was a nice addition along with high-tech locks that make the need for keys unnecessary. The neighborhood is superbly located and the community has a rich history. I felt like a local who was warmly greeted by all of the neighbors as I strolled down the street each day to the coffee house, restaurants and shops just a block away from the beautifully landscaped home that boasts old-growth trees. Far superior to any hotel stay, I was delighted to have this as my first airbnb experience. Brian was attentive and gracious in welcoming me to the property. The welcome letter he sends you is a terrific guide to the home and certainly to the must-visit places in the neighborhood. The welcome letter is as attentive to detail as is his attention to detail in providing all of the needs and wants a guest could ask for in their stay. The walk to the center of the city is perhaps 10 minutes (I walk fast) and up to UT Austin is a bit longer (~15 min) but a beautiful stroll none-the-less. Uber is easy and inexpensive in Austin and rides across town are no more than 5-10 dollars so it makes this sought after Austin location perfect. I will certainly look to Brian for another reservation at this property when I return to town. Thanks for a great 4-day stay!

This place is so sweet, its got old-school charm and its located in an amazing neighborhood. You can walk to the grocery store to some of the best coffee in Austin and great restaurants. The cottages cozy and Brian is a wonderful host. Brian always responded right away to all my emails and was very helpful in answering questions and offering solutions. You cant go wrong renting this place!

  • Review 44 (2023-06-26 - Rating: 5)

It’s a really spacious and well equipped property. The neighborhood is great with restaurants and grocery within walking distance. The hosts are on property and attended to my every request. Loved staying there. It was my home away from home.

  • Review 45 (2018-09-18 - Rating: 4)

Great cottage for our two dogs, my wife and I. Well furnished, modern and homemade; we were fascinated by the vaulted ceiling in the main room that had windows into the enclosed attic above the two bedrooms. Modern appliances and a great AC system with a good thermostat. An up to date high-speed wifi system was a real plus. Direct TV available as well as a Vizio Smart TV that provided access to Netflix and Amazon Prime (for members).Small fence yard was convenient for our dogs, but walking the neighborhood was even better. Clarksville Park nearby provided a good open space (not leash-free) and was our destination nearly every day.Off street parking for one car was essential on Waterston - a very narrow and well traveled street. Patrons at the three restaurants a long block to the east often park along Waterston creating the congestion.Great neighborhood for walks with not only the three restaurants (Cipollina, Josephines and Jefferys) at the end of the street, but several others in close proximity plus a great coffee house (Medici). The historic Clarksville neighborhood is a fascinating place with original houses, most remodeled and a number of new modern residences in the mix. The cottage is a great place for a small family, an older couple with pet(s) or a young couple looking for a romantic get-away.

Brian went out of his way to ensure that our stay at his property was nothing short of perfect. Professional, polite and on top of every detail. The house was even better than described and fit the bill for my wife and I, perfectly. Great neighborhood to boot! I would absolutely recommend this property and Brian to anyone!

This was a great place to stay during Formula1 weekend! Brian was very responsive and helpful, and we wished wed considered cooking with the adorable retro-upgraded kitchen and ample supplies. The two sparkling waters in the fridge were very much appreciated after a long flight as well!

I stayed in the cottage for a week and a half. It was immaculately presented, beautifully finished and furnished, and a perfect home from home. It had everything you could possibly need, and the host Brian was incredibly helpful and communicative. The experience was fantastic and I couldnt recommend it more highly.

My son and I spent a couple of nights in the Studio and loved it. The space is immaculate and very well appointed...Brian has thought of everything! We are already talking about coming back to Austin and will try to book the Studio for that visit. Thank you, Brian.

I stayed at the guest house C for a few weeks and had an amazing time! Super cozy unit, nestled in a great quiet street in Clarksville, walking distance to great restaurants and coffee shops. It was quite ideal, thanks Brian for being so accommodating!

This is a very nice place in an eclectic and historic neighborhood with near by grocery and restaurants all within walking distance! My only concern was there was a lot of landscaping while we were there so it was hard to use the lovely areas outside to relax during the day. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
