    This is a great alternative to stay in a hotel. You have so much space and privacy you will feel like youre at home.They have great customer service reps that are always ready and willing to help you with any problem big or small.Stay with Downtown Military Living next time youre TDY in San Antonio, you will glad you did.

    The DML team was great. It was such a relief to arrive from a long cross-country drive, drop our bags, and relax on the couch. The apartment had a great view, was well-stocked, and we had no issues with it for our 6 month stay.

    I have used DML for all of my stays in San Antonio and every single time has been a hassle free, positive experience.From the moment I get there to the moment I eventually check out, everything is taken care of.     The DML team was a joy to work with- they made every effort to proactively take care of me and get me set up for me TDY. Their communication is phenomenal and they handled things quickly and well in advance so my arrival was smooth and effortless on my part. I stayed in the Aspire at Live Oak location and had a clean and well furnished apartment to myself, only a quick drive from Randolph AFB which made this TDY all the better. I highly recommend DML to anyone coming TDY to any of their serviced locations and would 100% use them in the future.

    Great experience! Clean, furnished apartment in a perfect area downtown (Heritage Plaza). They were extremely nice and very accommodating to the constant changes to my checkout date due to the nature of the training I was in town for. I would 100% recommend to anyone and will be utilizing them again next time Iā€™m in the San Antonio area!

    A great American company. They make the reservation and transition so smooth. They make it worry free, which is nice when you are away from your family for training. The unit they gave me was exceedingly clean and up to date, had all the appliances that you would need for day to day life. They make sure you have everything you need and are good at checking up on you. I highly recommend this company to any military members staying in the San Antonio area.

    This place was lovely! The staff were super helpful, answering at all hours of the day and getting me where I needed to be. The location was amazing for everything I needed to attend as well as to explore the city. The stay was great as well, with the lodgings being clean, cute, and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.

    I had a fantastic time staying here for an ADT. The apartment was well-stocked with a full kitchen, clean, and in a great spot; it was only a 10-15 minute drive to Fort Sam/BAMC. It was also just a 5 minute walk to the famed San Antonio Riverwalk. I would highly reccomend anyone with an extended stay to consider DML!

    I cannot recommend Downtown Military Living enough! From their impeccable professionalism and rapid reply times, to their thoughtful inclusion of housewarming gifts with household essentials, DML went above and beyond during my stay to make my active duty rotation a delight. DML puts their customers first, and it shows in their thoughtful, consistent communication about management/apartment need-to-knows. I felt safe knowing they were only a text away, at all hours of the day and night.     These guys hit way above the mark. A personalized gift (my name & airplane were engraved on a yeti mug) when you move in, an incredible customer service team who does everything they can to accommodate. The mail room is super high tech, trash pickup is right outside your door (no trips to the dumpster), the apartments are decorated so well and all the invoices are DTS-friendly. Cristina makes move-in & move-out so stress free. Thereā€™s ample parking, a dog park, a great pool & patio with grills. Walking distance to so many great restaurants & lime/bird scooters for everywhere that isnā€™t! Iā€™ve been singing their praises when any of my coworkers take a trip to San Antonio.

    DML was great to work with and had an awesome furnished apartment. It was perfect for my extended stay. The had a king sized bed, a kitchen full of supplies, and a huge bathroom. They helped me with my DTS, and even reimbursed me when there was a rate change. Would definitely recommend!

    I had a wonderful experience at DML during my TDY at BAMC! The unit and building amenities were top notch. Location was unbeatable in the center of downtown.     Great spot to stay while TDY. Pool/BBQ area, gym, kitchen, private laundry machines, and fully furnished apartment, all while matching my lodging rate! Resident-only secured parking garage gave me peace of mind. Within a 5 minute walk from the downtown attractions, 2 min walk to the grocery store. The daily commute to JBSA was around 15-20 minutes, and you dodge the downtown San Antonio traffic. The staff was very friendly as well. If Im ever back in San Antonio, Im staying here again. 11/10 experience.

    Im so glad I chose Downtown Military Living! Having an in-house washer and dryer as well as a full kitchen was amazing. The team at Downtown Military Living was extremely responsive to my texts and calls. The check in process was extremely smooth. The apartment came with everything I needed and they even had tupperware which was very thoughtful. Check out was also really easy. I will recommend Downtown Military Living to anyone in the military needing a place to stay in San Antonio!

    No regrets staying here! Fully furnished and they also include things like some laundry detergent, trashbags, sponges and soap, which I thought was a nice touch. Staff was very responsive and helpful, no matter what time of day. Would definitely recommend!!

    I really enjoyed my stay with DML at the Aspire location during my TDY at Randolph. The apartment was fully furnished with quality furniture, kitchen utensils, and appliances. The building is in a great location with plenty of restaurants and stores around. The staff is super responsive and helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure everything goes smoothly with your stay. I would recommend anyone that is going TDY to San Antonio to stay with DML!

    Without a doubt, the best option for anybody on official travel. Prices are set to meet requirements for DOD travel and the accommodations were above any hotel. Laundry machines were in the apartment. Internet was as fast as could be. Rooms were quiet. The parking garage is secure and covered so that you didnt have to worry about your car being broken in to our being too hot between drives. The room had everything that you would need for day to day living to include silverware, cups, plates, blender, toaster, oven, full size fridge, dishwasher and so much more. The pool and gym were easily way better than any hotel. The drive to Lackland was about 15 minutes each day, a relatively easy commute. A store (HEB) was well within walking distance as well as the legendary river walk with all of its exquisite restaurants and scenery.The staff was really easy to work with and would respond to messages almost immediately. To put a little cherry on top, they also custom ordered a excellent insulated sealed cup with my name and a laser etching of my favorite aircraft! 100% plan on using DML for anytime i can in the future and am recommending my friends, coworkers and family members to do the same!

    DML is a great crash pad with everything you need and in a great location. The Augusta Flats location is close to the Riverwalk and all the great spots that go with that. The owner is very flexible and quick to respond to requests for extensions. Highly recommend

They even had cleaning products ready for you to use and that held me over for my 4 week stay. The amenities are unmatched and the personalized drink tumbler was a lovely touch.     I used Downtown Military Living during a 2 month TDY to Randolph AFB and had a great experience. The staff are professional, courteous, and very flexible/accommodating of schedule changes. They understand the nuances associated with going TDY and dealing with DTS. Nightly rates are set equal to the on-base lodging costs with no extra taxes or fees, so you wont spend anything out of pocket to stay here. The apartments are new and fully furnished, including kitchenware, so the move-in and move-out process is extremely simple. The drive to Randolph AFB is less than 10 minutes, so it is very easy to commute and make quick trips home midday if needed. I would recommend DML to anyone headed to Randolph for IFF or PIT.

    I had a great experience staying at August Flats through Downtown Military Living. The staff was very responsive and flexible with billing when it came to taking leave during the TDY (to avoid out of pocket costs). The location was within walking distance of the Pearl and the Riverwalk, but it still wasnt a bad commute up to Randolph. The gym was the best apartment gym I had seen, and the other facilities were pretty good as well. I highly recommend DML and Augusta Flats to anyone TDY to San Antonio.

    If youā€™re TDY here for an extended period of time, this is the way to do lodging. Theyā€™ll match your base rate, no non-A needed for your DTS. I donā€™t think anyone can argue that base billeting is anything but un-sat anyway.

    Fantastic homebase-away-from-home as I did my tour at SAUSHEC in San Antonio. Traveling from farther north, it was good to have someplace safe and comfortable to come back to while auditioning for my next 4 years in the medical field. Staying here gave me much more of a preview into what life could be like in San Antonio should I be stationed here, rather than a month-long hotel stay. Would absolutely do again.

    Downtown Military Living was a great choice for the 7 months I was in San Antonio! They made it really easy to check-in at the beginning of my stay, and they consistently made things easy for me throughout my stay. Their maintenance team was quick to respond and very helpful with bringing in an extra mattress and coffee table, and their leadership was always very responsive which made communication really easy as I was finishing my training program. I would absolutely encourage others to go with DML!

    Literally hands down the best housing arrangement Iā€™ve experienced or even heard of anywhere else in the country. The staff was extremely helpful, the place was clean and cozy, the HVAC was miraculous in the consistently triple digit south Texas heat. Lots of amazing food and beverage options nearby with spectacular bird watching opportunities. 10/10 would definitely stay again if I wander back down here for any reason.

    I stayed with DML during a month long TDY at Brooke Army Medical Center. I am a fourth year medical student in training to become and Emergency Medicine Physician. I cant say enough about Cristina and Luke. They were incredibly professional, responsive, and flexible. They also understand how slow the gears turn when trying to get your TDY travel funds and are extremely patient so I didnt have to pay a penny out of pocket. The accommodation was top notch- I mean it was nicer than the apartment I live in back home. Anything and everything you need is taken care of. I stayed on the Encore SoFlo property near downtown. They had a great gym, easy access to the river trail system, walking distance to the riverwalk, HEB market right across the street, and an awesome pool. Cant recommend them enough, 5/5!

    Awesome facilities and great location. My course partner ended up staying on base while I stayed at DML. He had issues all throughout training with the HVAC system and slept the last two weeks with his windows opened. The last few days of the course he told me he regretted not staying at DML. I had a blast at my apartment and would not have minded staying longer. Thanks for everything.

    Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and provided some of the best service I have ever experienced. The personal touch that they provide to ensure your stay is perfect for you, is on another level from the competition. Being in the military, I know all too well how the JTR can crush your hopes and dreams but whether you have a non-A or not, they will still accommodate you at the right price.     Downtown military living provides the best TDY experience I have had yet! And I have had MANY TDY experiencesā€¦ I stayed in a studio apartment in River House, downtown. The property was amazing -clean and well furnished- and the location was perfect. Better than that, though, the service was outstanding. I had a change of orders during my TDY, multiple changes to my moving dates, significant GTC issues, and they worked with me every step of the way with nothing but support. They worked to make my experience easier, and turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a non-event. These folks are the best. Look no further for your TDY lodging needs. They are frendly and flexible, always available when help needed.We only had to bring our clothes with us, because it is fully furnished, have every kitchen gadgets.Clean and modern apartment, loved the memory foam mattress in the bedroom, I had my best night sleeps ever.Loved the pool and the gym as well, very convenient.Best possible location on the riverwalk. Quiet, but bars, restaurants and stores are in walking distance (pharmacy, farmerā€™s marketā€¦etc)The various events in the apartment complex during the summer were amazing and so much fun. Front desk staff are also very friendly.Big plus is the gated garage so our car was safe in hail storms.We loved our stay and would go back anytime!

    TLDR for my stay at the Riverhouse location with Downtown Military Living: I would hands down recommend a stay with here to anyone going TDY to San Antonio, be that at Lackland, Randolph, or Ft. Sam Houston. The apartment felt like home, the location was prime, and I canā€™t speak highly enough of the hosts.The People: Christina and Luke are absolutely the nicest people. During my entire stay, the were extremely friendly, timely, and responsive. They were also very cognizant of my personal space. While I didnā€™t push the envelope too much, I doubt I could have made a request they wouldnā€™t have taken seriously if it meant a better stay for me, or any of the other guests. Every time I saw one of them in the building, I was happy to stop and catch up.The Place: I stayed in the Riverhouse location in a studio apartment from mid-June until mid-October. The combined bedroom/living room/dining room felt pretty standard in terms of size with the furniture in place, BUT the apartment also came with a huge walk in closet and spacious bathroom which were fantastic. On top of that, it came fully furnished which made it feel like I was staying somewhere I really wanted to be. My top four (couldnā€™t even keep it to just three) features of the studio were the size of the kitchen and available counter space for a studio apartment, the huge walk in closet, the really nice in unit washer/dryer, and almost floor to ceiling window at the end of my apartment. The A/C was also great and kept the room quietly cool even on the 100+ degree days.The Amenities: In addition to the room, Riverhouse has a lot to offer as a complex. First and foremost is its proximity to The Pearl. While the dine in restraint scene was altered by COVID during my stay, there was always a local place to order out from and bring back to the apartment. The Pearl itself was only a 5-10-minute walk entirely down the Riverwalk which was super easy. Riverhouse also offered a ton of ā€œin houseā€ creature comforts. The complexā€™s small gym meant that I didnā€™t have to worry about cutting out extra time on base to work out, the included garage parking was a huge peace of mind for me, and I also rented an extra storage space right across the hall from my apartment to keep everything I didnā€™t want to unpack from my PCS.My Stay: 10/10, would recommend. This will be the first place I think of when traveling back to San Antonio for an extended stay.

    Downtown Military Living is the way to go for any military personnel on orders down in San Antonio! The owners are super friendly and will go out of their way at every corner to make sure you are taken care of. They made my TDY that much better by allowing me to stay in a fully furnished apartment in the middle of San Antonio night life. Thanks again!

    Absolutely amazing company! They are wonderful to work with from Day 1: from before, during, and after our stay, everyone was so helpful. They are very knowledgeable about Army paperwork and so patient with the whole process. The apartment we stayed in was absolutely beautiful, clean, and very convenient access to the Riverwalk, base, etc. Everyone is really kind and go out of the way to accommodate needs on a personal basis. I recommend them 100% and am so thankful for the whole experience!

    I stayed downtown and had an absolutely awesome experience with these guys. Five stars for sure. The staff the extremely helpful placing me in a unit that was going to be open while I was there and provided all the details between photos and how it all works with DTS. They were very proficient with the mil finance side of things and they helped me a lot when the time came to file the voucher as far as what documentation was required and how to claim the lodging.The location was great. It was walking distance to restaurants, bars, grocery store, you name it. The unit was clean and prepped when I showed up, not to mention it was pretty dang nice. It was a very high quality, well decorated and furnished apartment and had all the supplies for cooking, laundry etc.. It definitely made my time there way easier than it wouldve been elsewhere. After many TDY stays in hotels, TLFs, Airbnbs etc... this was the best experience Ive had hands down and highly recommend them for whatever brings you to Lackland or Randolph.

    My fiance had a work trip here and we stayed for 2 months! The staff was very helpful and accomodating and the amenities were definitely taken advantage of during our stay. I loved our little apartment! Would reccomended and would do again!

    This was a fantastic experience. The staff was exceptional, the check-in process was very easy, accommodations were exceptional, the bed was very comfortable, the gym was better than most you pay to go to, and very conveniently located. I was across the street from HEB, walking distance to all the restaurants and bars, as well as I frequently enjoyed exploring the riverwalk. Overall great experience. Highly recommend

    I had a great experience living here while I was on a 5 month TDY in San Antonio. Luke and Christina went above and beyond my expectations to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed while living there. It was a prime location for me due to the proximity to Lackland. During normal work hours, my commute to Lackland was always against traffic, taking only 15-20 mins to drive.It is walking distance from Blue Star for great food options if you dont feel like cooking. There is a small gym and the area is great for running outdoors as well because the river walk is less than a mile away.The complex is clean and modern, and the neighbors are all super friendly. There is assigned covered parking with space for two vehicles which was important for me.

    I was here as a medical student for a month-long rotation and this place was perfect for what I needed. Daniela was incredibly friendly and was quick to respond to any questions I had. The place itself was sleek, modern, clean and had all the amenities that I needed for my month-long stay. And as a bonus, it was right on the Riverwalk and only a short walk from The Pearl! I highly recommend this listing for anyone visiting San Antonio.

    Would absolutely recommend DML for anyone looking for somewhere nice to live. They make the entire process as simple as possible. I showed up with very little notice and within a week a was set up with an entirely furnished and clean apartment. My stay was only supposed to be about 3 months but was delayed well into 6. Management was incredibly accommodating. This will be the first company I recommend to anyone traveling to the area!

    My wife and I (and our dog!) ended up staying with Downtown Military Living for about three months during a PCS with training en route. Absolutely everyone at this company was a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend using them. They were friendly, professional, very quick to respond to any questions/concerns and we felt they genuinely cared about our family. Any time little issues came up, they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. We were in the River House apartments, which were very nice and in a wonderful location.     Cant recommend DML enough for Military on TDY to San Antonio. They can find you something for the on base rate at Kelley even if you dont have a Non-A, and take all the work out of it for you. They hooked me up with a top notch apartment near the river walk, downtown , and a mini HEB. Ask for something pet free though if you can, pet owners in the area are not the most responsible. Even that considered, it was an amazing experience over all, and a million times better than staying on base

    I had a short tour notice, literally in 6 days I moved across the US.Downtown Military Living was there for me every step of the way. From answering my questions at move in to anytime during the 2 months I stayed. This team is hardworking and always willing to help. All I had to do was show up on move in day and bring my bag in.Everything in my unit was very clean, well kept, lovely neighborhood with a bunch of things to do.     DML is known for being a go-to for those in the force that are TDY. Pros; fully furnished with nice furniture and utensils, huge king memory foam bed, nice bathroom area and small porch. Online payments made it easy and hard to forget to pay. Super close to RND.Cons; small-ish living space for the per diem rate charged, and no covered parking available.

    Had a great time with DML they were very quick to respond if there were any issues the apartment was very nicely furnished and had everything I needed. Rarely took my car to downtown San Antonio/pearl because I was so close. The apartment always has events being hosted near the pool where it was a good time meeting people. I was there for 5 months.

    By far one of the best places, I have stayed with. Downtown military living was so easy and friendly to work with. Not to mention the apartment was nice and well-kept.
