I have been living here a little over a year now. The rooms and cabins are both reasonably priced. Very welcoming to familys with kids. Nice little spot away from all the hustle and bustle of major citys. You can see a variety of animals down by the water on a daily basis. Quite peaceful place to get a break away from everything if you prefer to slow down a little bit. Definitely recommend to anyone needing a place and dont want to spend close to 400 for a motel for a week.

Absolutely great place. Very clean and well kept. The property manager Steve is awesome very nice and keeps up with making sure everyone is doing ok and that the property is kept safe. Love staying here would recommend it to anyone!

Renee is the office manager that can help with booking needs. The other staff including April, Dave, and Fred are kind, salt of the earth people that make visitors feel welcome. Cute cabins can be rented by the week and there are many species of birds including black bellied whistlers. Thank you for a lovely stay and I hope to visit soon!

Great place to stay! The owners are friendly and very nice. Its a quiet peaceful place. The cabins are nice. There is a kitchen, bathroom, two beds (one upstairs, one downstairs). I really enjoyed staying there. I highly recommend renting from here.

This place has really change I come here every year the new owners are great mr.stephen was amazing they have remodel everything!!!! Looks really clean staff are amazing great place to get away for the family and kids I recommend this to everyone..😀😀

The cabin I saw was a one room cabin, with bed downstairs and a loft with a bed, separate bathroom with laundry, kitchen, window a/c unit. It was nice for what it is. Place was quiet on a Wednesday evening. Very cool looking place, with a western small town vibe (ok corral) exterior in the front set of attached cabins. Other cabins were individual and more modern looking.

I love it here. So peaceful and quiet. Better and bigger than any hotel room for the same cost. With a four burner and oven! The only downside is the internet sucks and I had to go buy Hotspot data just to be able to work from my laptop and stream TV. Other than that, more than perfect and better than expected.

Cute little cabins in Hitchock. We stayed here off and on from jan. To march. We had a big (little ) cabin. We were stsying in a hotel while working here but their prices kept getting higher and higher and when your forking out $79 a night out of your own pocket for a hotel so you can work, its not affordable. So, found this cute little place. They are clean and furnished with some kitchen stuff for cooking, the oven and stove are a little small in our room we couldnt actually see the numbers to set it so i just guessed burnt a few things but no biggie. The cabins are 1 room with a bed small tv a dresser and a night stand some rooms have a extra dresser with a hutch which was nice to keep food in and they have a small bathroom, the water gets cold quickly so no hanging out in the shower. They have a table to eat also and have 2 electric heaters to keep you warm during cold months.. during hurricane Laura we had to evac from Lake Charles and this was the first place we called.. when i told her we were evacuating she got me and my girls a flat. They are very small really only big enough for one but we made it work. Both the cabins anf the flats have a loft with an extra bed.. the cabin loft is a nice size and you can stand up in it but only in the middle ( its an A frame) but in the flat it is super low, you have to crawl in and just go to sleep you cant even sit up in the bed. So we didnt use the loft. You rent these weekly which come out to like 40 a day... much better than a hotel. The lady in the office is nice and helped us out in a bind when we couldnt go home for 2 weeks because we had no power or water. This will be our go to place if we ever have to evac again. Cute little place affordable and close to galveston and houston with out all their traffic...

Went here to see my son, nice little cabin he is staying in while he works construction, full kitchen, bathroom. One bed below and another in the loft, very cozy

Very peaceful and darling. I saw a mama duck with a bunch of little babies. I was there just checking rates. A little pricey for me.
