    My experience working with Destinee Jones has been nothing but amazing! She is the sweetest person, and she is very understanding and helpful when it comes to finding the right place! Once i found out i got a better job , i told her letā€™s move to Dallas! And then i found my perfect place , i applied for it and then the next day i was approved!     I came across Megan on social media, and her link directed me to AptAmigo, where she became our primary contact for helping my sister and me find a place in Dallas. We were relocating from the East Coast, and while Iā€™ve moved several times before, this was my first long-distance move, so I decided to use an apartment locator service. Megan worked hard within our three-month timeline and with our list of must-haves.However, my feedback would be to improve communication. At the start of the process, I had to repeat our needs and preferences several times, which felt a bit frustrating. When an apartment we were close to choosing fell through due to unforeseen circumstances, Megan continued to search for alternatives. Unfortunately, her attentiveness seemed to drop off a bit after that point. Some of the options she suggested, especially the high-rises, had poor reviews, yet they were presented as if they were the best available. Given that our budget wasnt low, this was a bit disappointing. That said, we ultimately found a very nice building that she helped locate, so despite the hiccups, I believe Megan did her best.For others using this service, my advice is to be diligent with communication. Remember, this is a free service, so the agents will often match the level of effort you put in. I stayed consistent and made it clear that I was serious about the search, which kept the process moving. Also, donā€™t rely solely on whatā€™s presented in your portalā€”do your own research. As I mentioned earlier, some of the high-rise options we were given were not as great as they appeared once I did a deeper dive online.To AptAmigo: I understand that this is a free service, and reviews are important for your business. However, a word of advice to the CEO Dan: We were offered a $200 reward for clients who sign a lease through your service. Megan informed us that it would take 30-60 days for the property we chose to process her payout, which is when we would receive our reward. We were fine with this delay, but please donā€™t expect a review of your services before clients receive the promised reward.

    Although I didnt get to meet with Portia in person, she provided me with exceptional customer service. I am relocating from CA to TX and she was able to provide me with good townhome leads! I told her my preferences and she understood the assignment! I was able to secure a place in the four days that I was in town. The townhouse is brand new with all appliances and washer and dryer included. They provided great incentives which included 8 weeks free rent, no application, or other fees, and $750 towards professional movers! The move-in timeline was just the exact timeline that I needed!     My experience with AptAmigo was amazing. Being new to Dallas I had no idea how necessary the assistance of a locator is in navigating the rental market in this city. I cannot recommend my AptAmigo rep, Drew, any more highly. He had are day organized and appointments set forth possibilities all over the city and as he got to know me and we had open space in the schedule he made an audible on the fly and suggested that we stop at one other building that had not previously been scheduled.
