DJ and Elizabeth completely took the stress out of selling our home. There was never an issue that they didn’t have a solution for. Their strategy, knowledge and experience is on display at every encounter and is what led to us selling our home for full asking price. We really loved how well they worked with us being that I work for home and my wife was six months pregnant when we started this journey with them. We were impressed with how accessible they were. There was never a time we felt that they weren’t available to us. More importantly we felt that DJ really had our best interest in mind and negotiated an amazing deal for us, making sure we got everything we asked for. Another highlight was that their years of experience and professionalism has allowed them to develop strong relationships with the new construction developers and their associates. So much so that Elizabeth was able to get our closing moved from in person in Katy to a mobile notary meeting us in the Woodlands so we could finalize the sale of our old house and close on our new house all in one location. She managed to make this all happen the day before our closing was scheduled. It was such an incredible experience.

DJ had a challenge when he came to our house to get it prepared to sell. We had several rooms full of junk and even the living room and bedrooms were full of clutter that would have made them difficult to show. DJ has a method that he uses with everyone and even with our house he was successful in making a sale. We walked through the house and we prepared a list of things that had to be done before the house would be ready to present. It took me about a month of hard work. Most of the clutter went into one bay of our garages.As we got close to presenting, DJ prepared a preliminary link that we sent out to friends and family in order to create the illusion of interest in the house. We had a single open house with close to 15 families, and an offer. That offer turned out falling through but we continued to have 1-2 showings for the following week or two and within a week had another offer that was our final offer.The offer that was made was what we requested. Because DJ had gone through the house and anticipated what the inspectors would be looking for, we did not have any drop in price from the inspection.DJ told us that were sold for the third higher price/square foot in our region (based on houses without a pool). We really just wanted go get a reasonable price so we could retire and move. We weren’t trying to make top dollar for our house, but DJ did well for us, anyway.We are happy that we chose DJ for our realtor. He has a well-thought out system for preparing the house and a good marketing system for attracting customers once it is on the market.
