We hired Christopher Daves to create a trust for us.Thinking about being dead is not fun, and probably not healthy in most cases, but as a parent I spent my whole life caring about my children. A trust ensures that when I can no longer take care of them, they will be taken care of with my final wishes.Christopher create a trust to meet our needs, and also HIPAA release, durable power of attorney, medical power of attorney, and who knows what else. I had no idea what I needed, I only knew what I wanted the end result to be, and Christopher took care of us.I recommend Christopher for any of your estate needs. He is a knowledgeable attorney, and a nice person. (I never thought Id meet a nice attorney! )

During a conversation with my sister, she shared with me her positive experience working the Christopher Daves to create her estate plan. My husband and I contacted Christopher to discuss having our estate plan done. We had many questions and found him to be very knowledgeable, patient, and responsive to our concerns. We also had him create an LLC for rental property we own. Christopher went the extra mile a few weeks later by advising us of a recent federal requirement for new LLCs and offering to file the report on our behalf. One of the best thing I ever did was hiring Christopher Daves to prepare my Trust for my Estate Planning.I wanted to take care of some important things in my life, like Estate Planning and getting my estate and health wishes in order before my retirement age to make life easier for my relatives without the future expenses of attorneys and having my legal & health documents all done and stored in one place.I called Christopher Daves to make an appointment for a meeting to come in to discuss setting up a plan to protect my assets he called me back the same day.I met with Christopher and he was very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable to all the questions and answers in setting up my Trust.I had just gone through probating my mother’s will. Her home was valued at $85,000 and only about $15,000 in other assets including cash. The small town attorney in Gatesville, TX charged me $3,000 which I thought was outrageous since her estate was so small.The total amount was not much more for setting up my Estate Planning and creating my personalized Trust that Christopher Daves prepared.I decide to do a REVOCABLE TRUST - putting all my assets including my rental homes and my LLC’s into the trust so my trustee, upon my death steps in and continues to run business without dealing with an attorney or probate judge making an appointment. All my deeds, bank accounts and personal assets were transferred to the trust protecting me against any future losses or liability.Knowing I’m protected when my health declines in the future and I’m protected for any lawsuits or scams when I get older is such a peace of mine.When my personalized Trust was finalized and Christopher recorded all my deeds. I was given a binder with all my legal documents all in one place to have access to.Very simple organization at a very affordable price and peace of mind.I highly recommend Christopher Daves for your Estate Planing or other legal needs.

Excellent experience. Christopher Daves has a calm demeanor and actively listened to my personal goals. I had been searching for years to find the right estate planning attorney that could address all my concerns and provide guidance. I actually found Christopher on a YouTube clip where he was interviewed about estate planning and his extensive knowledge lead me to call him. Christopher set up a revocable trust for me and filed all the necessary paperwork. When I called the number for the office I expected a gatekeeper that would require me to schedule a time to speak with her while also requiring me to pay a consultation fee.I was met with neither and able to directly speak with Lori. That kind of access to a professional of Loris stature is a rarity these days and I was pleasantly surprised by it. Lori provided me with exactly the guidance I was hoping for, without charge, on what my next steps should be. She was well-spoken, quick-witted, friendly and obviously very intelligent. I recently hired attorney Lori Daves of the Daves firm, a team of husband and wife both real estate attorneys and wonderfully complementary to each other.Untutored , inexperienced and unqualified as I am in legal matters being a retired physician from Italy, where property codes and laws are dissimilar , I received from both the proper guidance to deal with an extremely difficult tenant. Lori did all the negotiations for me and her wise, judicious and prudent husband explained to me in great detail and with considerable patience the reasons why his wife chose a certain path.I must say without any reservation whatsoever that anyone who has the misfortune of having a difficult tenant could not possibly be better represented by anyone else.

John Daves is an excellent real estate attorney that I highly recommend! He specializes in helping landlords and property management companies prevent or handle issues related to rental property and asset protection.I first got his name as a referral from another satisfied client about 6 years ago in Spring of 2012! Since then, weve mainly used his help with evictions and to better understand landlord-tenant laws, but we know that he also sets up LLCs, establishes asset protection for real estate investors, does legal document preparation (like drafting deeds), reviews contracts and leases, and represents landlords in Fair Housing disputes and complaints.Hes not pretentious, stern, or unapproachable like some attorneys can be. He seems to be a kind-hearted, knowledgeable professional with a genuine interest in helping people, which he says is part of doing business. I dont know about you, but these qualities are important to me.I feel privileged to have learned of John all those years ago, and I look forward to continuing to have him in my corner well into the future!
