When my father passed away overseas, my family and I were lost. What would have been a relatively easy case in dealing with his estate if he had passed away in the US, became an international estate case. Few law firms would take our case as a result. Some were incredibly insensitive.Colin and his team took on the case, and were able to find a simple and effective approach to resolving this problem.I cant stress the emotional relief this brought to me and my family. Attorney Colin Smith is an amazing attorney!I am leary when comes to lawyers in general, but I have developed a new found trust.Colin is honest and fair with his fees.He is professional, intelligent, poised and levelheaded.He’s extremely knowledgeable regarding estate law and assisted me with wills, power of attorney, trusts, etc…Additionally, he successfully represented me in a civil law suit in which I won my case against a landlord who attempted to keep my deposit, unjustifiably. When my dads health was too poor to leave the house and on hospice care - Colin took the time to come to him and worked to make sure every detail was taken care of.
