First thing to note up front is that it feels weird to review an appraiser, who has a fiduciary obligation to fairly assess a property. Does 5 stars mean they were fair?? But Im giving 5 Stars none-the-less here to Renee, specifically. She was good-natured, on time and professional. She wore a mask at all times which I appreciated. And she toured through the house, taking photos and measurements quickly, minimizing disruption to my tenants. She also helped me understand the definition of a mother-in-law suite, which I appreciated. -

Renees report was detailed and although I live in a transitional area, all the comps she picked were relevant. I think she used to be a real estate investor herself- which Ive come to believe is a telltale sign of a good appraiser. She has a passion for the industry and has experienced it from many different angles
