While she worked tirelessly on my behalf in price negotiations and contract details, she made the experience stress free for me. Laura evaluated our home, mapped out a plan to upgrade the critical elements to improve our property value, she assisted in every stage getting small improvements complete, Laura had the home staged so beautifully we hardly recognized it, once offers came in Laura poured over the offers and contracts to ensure we were protected, she laid out options and offered years of experience. Our first visit with Laura left no doubt that she had the ability to help with this investment.Because these properties were to be part of a 1031 exchange, I had to find the properties and reinvest within a strict timeline. Laura not only found properties that met my expectations and criteria, but we were able to close within a comfortable timeline well within the deadline criteria. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Laura Duggan and West Austin Properties, again since my first experience working with her in 2013 – this time both in the buying and selling of a house.In the buying process Laura was incredibly patient and persistent, she is an Austin native and has extensive historical knowledge about each neighborhood and the pros and cons of each zip code. We went out several times looking at areas and homes, and even though the market was brimming with options, nothing felt quite right. She wasn’t ready to give up though and encouraged me that we would find something, and she was spot on. One of the many benefits of working with Laura is the incredible network she has access to and we got a pre-listing of a beautiful renovated house that felt like it was literally made for me. We got an offer in before it went on the market! The team she uses at Capstar Lending – specifically Todd Kurio, (who I will always use because of his vast knowledge and creativity), was so incredibly helpful with options, specifically ideas before my house had sold, and Laura’s network of trusted inspectors gave me so much confidence about the house I was buying. I couldnt imagine a better realtor than Laura Duggan. We bought a house she was listing 20 years ago, and even though she wasnt OUR realtor then, we couldnt help but be impressed with her knowledge, professionalism, friendliness, helpfulness, recommendations, ... you name it. So when we were thinking of selling that same house last year, the first realtor we thought of was Laura, and didnt need to think further. That was our best (and most important) decision in selling that house. Laura went way beyond any expectations we (or you) could have. She worked with our limited budget to make the best changes to the house to get the best price. She handled everything: finding and managing contractors for paint, plumbing, windows, electrical, landscaping, HVAC, tile, flooring, cleaning, staging, photography, ... and then handled scheduling, coordination, property oversight, listing, pricing, strategy, negotiations, and contracts/closing. There is only ONE Real Estate Agent/Agency we will use from now on!! We have now worked with Laura Duggan and West Austin Properties three times and every single time the experience has been amazing. Laura has been a Realtor in Austin for over 30 years and it shows as her understanding of what to do and when to do it is unparalleled. Leading up to the most recent sell of our home we consulted Laura months in advance on what upgrades would be best for our home in Steiner Ranch to get the best price. Her advice then as well as her counsel on list pricing, repairs needed, professional photography, the staging that showed our home perfectly and negotiating was all spot on. WE SOLD OUR HOME IN 7 DAYS and got ABOVE asking price!! Laura is beyond connected, she has resources and connections for everything you could possibly ever need for every stage of the process. (The best lenders, interior designers, painters, contractors etc.)ADDITIONALLY, with three kids (one with special needs) every day is stressful not to mention selling your home and moving but not with Laura and West Austin Properties.
