I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Burgener on the sale of my house last fall. I have taken some time to write this review because I wanted to really think about and recognize what truly sets Todd apart from many in his profession.In the interest of full disclosure Todd has been a friend of mine for over 30 years and while I concede that may make me a bit biased, it also gives me a unique perspective into what sets him apart.Obviously when you spend your whole life in a city it gives you a leg up in knowledge and lay of the land, but thats an easy one. Here are a couple more examples of why Todd was the right choice. Todd makes things fun, always has, not at the expense of being professional and business-like but just places you at ease. Todd is super knowledgeable when it comes to the market and full of good thoughts and ideas BUT he also listens to you the client and would never push his ideas upon them, he will throw out scenarios and perhaps provide possible pitfalls of ideas but he is never pushy and we always felt he heard what we were looking for and wanted. He would always share his thoughts but ultimately allowed us to convey to him what we needed and he went along and we eventually got everything we wanted to be able to feel good about the sale of our house that was special to us.Finally, we cant underplay Todds amazing wife Kim who is his right hand wo-man and the ying to his yang. As a team...nothing gets dropped or missed. Todds team is super responsive, well-connected, knowledgeable, and treat every deal as if it were their own property that they were buying or selling.We were the buyer in a multiple offer situation in 2020 (who wasnt) and Todd helped us secure the deal. Unfortunately, there was a problem with title, but Todds team went to bat for us. I brought Todd on early in the selling process to get his input on how much I should put into renovating my property before selling, and on pricing the property. My goal was spend just enough on renovations to maximize my return. After the sale, in which I got about 5% over asking, I estimated I also got at a 3-4X return on the money I put into the renovation. The selling process went smooth and fast. If I could give 10 stars I would. I cant believe how lucky my husband and I were that we stumbled upon Todd Burgener on Yelp when we were looking for a realtor in the Austin area. My husband was moved out here for his job and upon finding the reviews that Todd had we reached out. I was amazed at his timely response. I reached out and within 20 minutes had a reply to my inquiry. He was always professional, courteous and attentive. I saw around 60 houses when i was looking for my first house.
