Apartments are a little dated but leasing office folks make.up for that.Excellent folks at the office and are quick to respond to work orders.Apartments themselves are old but are spacious and rent is reasonable for the area.Location is central for almost anything and you can get pretty much everything you need within 4.mile radius.

Kelsey and Fabian are an exceptional management team! From start to finish, theyve gone above and beyond to assist me throughout my entire move-in process. Theyre always there to answer my questions promptly, provide guidance, and ensure everything goes smoothly. I truly appreciate their dedication and support. Im incredibly grateful for everything theyve done to make this experience so much easier!

I definitely lucked out finding these! Moved from out of the city, they were undergoing management changes and still my move was seamless m. I didn’t have electricity for the first 3 days- but that’s not 100% on them (at least the team now) as management, maintenance were new and swapping and it was hard to get a hold on anyone. Only reason why I don’t give full 5 stars. I used to feed an outside cat, and had a neighbor complain to the office, and the office team was very nice addressing it with me without being rude/threatening to evict.People complain about the parking costs now,But we’ve had no issues. It’s very rare when we find no parking. When office sends texts regarding pest control coming into apartments and I’m not going to be in and can’t because of my cat liking to go outside, they’re very understanding.I’ve been here 2+ years and can’t think of big issues. I would definitely recommend and wish I’d stayed longer if I wasn’t moving.

My living experience in The Overlook apartments has been nothing but pleasant. From being up the hill, the view and the quiet. Most importantly all staff has been nothing but mannerful, engaging and helpful when needed. From the management team to maintenance, all very professional.

Josh is amazing! Any time I have any maintenance issues he shows up right away and gets my issues resolved! Very knowledgeable and proficient!

Josh is a excellent a maintenance man , he completes and establishing on time if not earlier then I expect I am greatful to have such a service, every day he works an keeps community neat and organized structurely and hygiene for example when he started working at over look I have never seen any poop from animals an no trash out front it’s a game changer having Josh as our community maintenance man !

I have lived here for 2 and a half years since January 2021 and I absolutely love it here. It feels so cozy and I feel at home living here. Amazing views and the property staff and office employees are very friendly and helpful. I plan to live here for another couple of years. My only dilemma is that the rent has increased each year and I still have very old appliances in the kitchen. Other than that, this place is great!

I’ve lived here for 2 year and the old management was good but the new management is just as good. I don’t understand why so many people are bothered by the parking when before nobody respected your parking space. At least now there’s consequences if you take one’s spot. I just renewed my lease and it was no more then $40 increase. Prices have increased everywhere so i don’t think $40 is a lot… don’t believe people that come and leave reviews just because they didn’t get there way. I’m currently a happy tenant.

My experience here was nothing less than amazing ! Monica & Yvonne was so sweet and thoughtful throughout the whole process. definitely two amazing spirits. i know a lot of UTEP student athletes rent from there and they are super understanding. they definitely took care of me the whole lease . any problem i needed fixed was easily fixed within the week of the initial request. only problem i ever had was a gnat problem but pest control took care of that and they began to disappear periodically:) if i could i would definitely move back !

This is THE BEST view in town. I lived here for almost 10 years and it was a very tough goodbye. Also, the new managers and office staff (Monica and Yvonne) are really friendly and super accommodating. The pools are also a plus (especially the one by the office)!

Moved in starting the new year and management has been very helpful throughout this process. Rent is increasing everywhere in the city so I was happily surprised to see how affordable this place is compared to others in the area.

This place is cozy, safe, and has on hell of a view. They’ve recently added a “doggy Park” at the cliff so it makes you feel extremely comfortable as a dog owner. Maintenance comes by every week and cuts the grass, blows away trash, and keeps this place neat.Only reason this place doesn’t have 5 stars is because of the people who live here. There are some irresponsible and inconsiderate dog owners here who can’t manage to pick up their dog’s poop EVEN when there’s DOGGY BAGS AND A TRASH CAN provided by Overlook, it’s obnoxious especially when the apartments are trying desperately to keep this place in tip-top shape. On the flip side, I have a lot of respect for what Overlook Apartments does for everyone’s parking! When you’ve got a designated parking spot and it gets taken up that can obviously become a problem but that almost-to-never happens. Neighbors are friendly. Love love love this place, strongly recommend it.

Loved living here, the staff made me feel at home being away from home! The office staff is friendly and the maintenance was always here right that same day when I put work order in and especially loved the view from my apartment. I couldnt complain of anything!!

I live here and I love it. Love the office ladies and I love the view. And Im sooo happy they have nice washers and dryers and they have a credit card machine in the facility so you can get quarters. Total upgrade from the last place I was at.

Very nice, comfortable, peaceful and good price. Management the best you can find. Yvonne is wonderful, understanding and helpful.
