When we wanted to sell our house in The Woodlands we contacted quite a few of the leading real estate agents in the area. After having had them all out it was clear that The Kink Team were the people that we would choose to handle the sales. They had a very professional but still very amenable approach to the process and were always available if we had any questions or concerns. Further, they know the market and have all the data to back op their comments and commitments. They also allowed us to take the extra time we felt we needed to make our big decision to leave The Woodlands. Once all was agreed we quickly saw why deciding on The Kink Team was the right decision. For 1 week while we finalized a few things the house was only available as “Coming soon”. In that week The Kinks Team worked their contacts and we received 5 offers on the house. My family was at the point in life where we needed more living and yard space, especially with our kids getting older and inevitably wanting their own rooms in the coming years. In the buy-first/sell-second situation demanded of us by the housing market in The Woodlands, we needed a realtor that could craft competitive bids attractive to a seller (not simply all-cash) while fulfilling the key needs of the buyer, while also simultaneously advising on making our current home ready for sale.During our realtor search, we received a recommendation from someone we knew who worked with the Kink team to move house in what was a tough market for buyers -- our exact situation. We were put in touch with Holly Wheeler of the Kink Team, who immediately got to work matching us up with homes we may like and riding with us on showings to many a listed home. The most valuable part of her service was her ability to to address any concern (big or small) that we had at any stage of the buying and selling processes, which included timely responses and keeping us on track with time-sensitive action items. Michael Sharpe was our realtor helping us buy our first home in Texas in the middle of what I can only describe as a circus in real estate. It was at a time where the only way to get a home was to offer thousands of dollars over asking, have cash, and a perfect loan. We had none of the above. Not only did we get excepted on two houses, one we had to walk away from, but Michael went above and beyond to make sure that we were protected. Most properties were being bought as is with no inspections, and he did everything in his power to make sure we did not get a bad deal or a house that was going to hurt us in the long run. I could not recommend him more! It’s obvious we work in real estate, and even with knowing and befriending many realtors, I’d say without a doubt we would use him again!
