I had the honor of having Maria Santiago as my realtor. She listened to my likes and dislikes and we hit the ground running. She is very detailed in what she expects from the sellers. She will not let the sellers take shortcuts just to get a sale. Her eye for defects are spot on. Her extensive knowledge of contracts, deposits, closings, appraisals, inspections and estimates are what clients will feel comfortable with allowing her to lead them into their dream home. I also must say, she always looks like a super professional that was serious about giving her clients a memorable home buying experience.I looked for and selected my dream home really quickly. My closing was so quick and easy. I have zero regrets. I am forever grateful and will be looking to purchase another property in a few years. Being first time home buyers, my husband and I were really uncertain and overwhelmed as to the home buying process. However, working with Maria was such an amazing experience. After our first phone call she was ready to help us find our dream home. Maria sent us a list of homes that was specific to our needs that were truly options that might work for us. Maria was always available to show us new homes, no matter the time or place and made the experience enjoyable and easy going.Immediately upon meeting Maria we knew we were in good hands! After getting to know each other and got a better understanding of what we were looking for, she was able to provide us with guidance and reassurance throughout the entire purchase process. Maria was very friendly, responsive, organized, & knowledgeable with years of professional experience. Maria was the best realtor I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She made my move from Arizona to Texas super seamless. Without her, Im not sure I would have been able to find the house I did. Her thoughtful and caring work ethic really shone through. Maria was awesome to us! She really cared about our family and what we wanted. She was there for us through the whole process, even after, and unlike other realtors she didn’t rush us or push us to make any decisions we weren’t comfortable with. Maria Santiago with Saint James Realty was a dream to work with. She guided us through the home buying process during a competitive market from beginning to end. She listened to what we wanted and worked nonstop to get us into our home within a timeframe in mind. Every phone/video call, she was there guiding us. From what we needed, to what was expected to come. Maria knows her stuff! She is very knowledgeable when it comes to the FTW/DFW market. Property values, loans, schools, locations, etc. The process was not what I expected, as it went smooth. She guided us through our paperwork, had a notary ready for us at closing, picked up our keys, had our inspection done, our security system set up, all so we could make it to our home from out of state. Maria is one to care about her clients. She goes above and beyond, and I would recommend Maria 100% to anyone who wants a smooth, caring, stress free experience.

I wanted to share our appreciation for the fine work (from start to closing) Maria & James Santiago, from the Saint James Realty organization provided to an out-of-state investor. Their team of contractors and connections throughout our process proved invaluable. We were given updates with photos, and facetime meetings to reassure us as investors that our funds were properly spent. It can be difficult to trust those tasked with project management of a property out-of-state and especially when property oversight & trust is hard to find, they delivered with real estate management skills that went above and beyond. I started working with Maria Santiago in February 2024, while looking for a home in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I was relocating for a new job working at NAS Fort Worth, from out of state. To say Maria went above and beyond in the 2 months of house hunting would be an understatement. I had only ever visited the DFW area once or twice before. So, I was unsure of where to even look for a home. I discussed with Maria about areas to live and settled on Weatherford/Azle/Springtown/or maybe Grandbury for my new home search. Maria took many home tours sending me videos with commentary about the things that she could see that might not necessarily be noticeable via a video. The photographs on websites online were very good at highlighting the good, and hiding the undesirables, like a very busy street. She was very knowledgeable about the VA home loan process and items that would be a problem in a VA inspection. She recommended areas to search for homes based on my budget, desired commute, and needs for me and my two dogs (i.e. a fenced yard).My Mother was a mortgage loan officer for over 30 years in Iowa, and she was also so impressed with the extra time Maria took to ensure I was happy with the home buying process. Maria was very respectful of all my wants and non-negotiables when it came to my house hunt, never felt like I was being pushed to go over budget or outside my desired daily commute area. Ultimately, we ended up finding the perfect home for me and my family the fenced yard is huge! The dogs couldn’t be happier. Maria Santiago was the agent who helped my family and I find our dream home. She is very professional in all her work. She explains everything very well, we never had a doubt during the process. I was skeptical about moving to this area where we found our dream home but she made me see all the advantages this place has. Now I am more than happy to have moved to this area. She always worked extra hours to find us our perfect home. My family and I are very grateful to her because it is clear that she loves her work, she is very professional, she had a lot of patience with us when we were very picky to find our dream home and of course I recommend her 100%.
