    It can really be nerve wracking trying to by a house in Austin but Kathy was amazing and really made us feel secure in maneuvering through the whole purchase process!! She was always easy to get ahold of even though I know she must be crazy busy. She was honest and straightforward about what we could expect.     Katy is AMAZING! We interviewed several realtors prior to partnering with Kathy to help us secure our first home. From her deep knowledge of the home buying process, she was able to guide us toward wise decisions when building our home- from the lot we chose (which she successfully negotiated down the price) to which upgrade would increase the resale value of our property. She negotiated with class and finesse to get us what we wanted in our home. She said, we want everything and thats exactly what she got us. She checked in on us regularly throughout the building process and didnt miss a single important appointment. We prayed before making our decision on a realtor and believe she is Gods gift to us. I plan to use Kathy for all future real estate needs and would most definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a realtor.

    Kathy helped my husband and I purchase our first home in Austin, TX. It was a new-build so we had a lot of questions, and she had all the answers. We were also planning a wedding and planned to move in 2 weeks prior to the wedding. It was quite stressful, but she eased my mind at every opportunity. She came to every appointment, and talked us through everything. We were very inexperienced, so she explained the mortgage process and how to pay it off quicker and the best options for our financial situation. She was the perfect piece of mind. I definitely recommend her because of her experience, thoroughness, and dependability. We wouldnt have been able to do it without her.

    Kathy De La Cruz is a fabulous realtor who is a well-qualified professional. My family discovered that she is mega-experienced in real estate and has a high-level of integrity. I really like Kathy and have had a wonderful experience with her as our realtor and family friend. She is very knowledgeable about Austin and the surrounding areas. Kathy is also dedicated to community service and shares our community, since she and her family live just down the street here in south Austin.Kathy De La Cruz has a relaxed professional style and spends lots of time just learning about exactly what type of home or property we were looking for - all in our own home. It is fabulous that Kathy understands that it takes time, time and more time to make important decisions about making an investment and purchasing property. We were glad that she is not a high pressure “sales person.When we were looking for our home, we did not run, run, run around - she selected what we were interested in by invested time to send oodles of links for us to check online, continued to ask: what did you like about this property? and if you were to rank these three homes, which one did you like best?     If you are reading my review, I bet you already know how crucial the current housing market is. There is not enough inventory on the market and people bid sky high offers just to get a house which is not even worth the price. You feel hopelss thinking that you may never find the house you want with the limited budget you have.Yeah, I was one of you until I met Kathy. It was just a few days before the big storm hit us, my lender recommended Kathy to me as my realtor. At the begining, I was not expecting too much, so I was not as active as I should be. However when I finally decided to see some house, kathy was so quick and efficient to send me all her recommendations and settup the house tour almost in the same day, so we got to see the house in the next day. I remember vividly on that day when she finished setting up my last tour, it was almost mid night. Thanks to her, we were able to see couple of houses, including my dream house just one day earlier before the strom hit us. During the that day, she was so nice and informative, no matter what dumb questions I asked, she always answers me patiently. I couldnt see her face under the mask, but I can feel she alway keeps her smile. I even un-reasonably asked her to let me see a house we like for the second time, the owner had already came back to the house and having dinner, she still kindly talked to the owner side and let me see the house one more time.There are so many little things like that make you feel she is not treating you just like a customer but someone she is really trying to help out. We didnt have too much budget however I still couldnt believe she managed to got my offer accepted without a ridiculous overbidding. I dont know how much homework she had done for me to get this all worked out, but I am sure there must be countless phone calls and emails.And now I am the owner of my dream house.I know by just writting this review it may not be enough comparing to what she did for me, but when you read the story about me and Kathy, I hope kathy can help more people who is still in the darkness looking for a silver lining.     Kathy DeLa Cruz was AMAZING!!! As an agent, she made the home visits fun and exciting. She asked all the right questions. Knew what we wanted, and began searching for us. We looked at several houses before we found our dream home. She is very professional. Works late and hard. Kathy has built a trusting and great relationship with us, the buyers. She was patient with us, even after we had a few hurdles to jump. Weve known and spoke to other agents through out the year, but she was, by far, the most attentive, experienced, and always ready to go, agent. Do not look past her. If you need an agent, call her!     We debated enlisting a realtor to help us with our new home construction since one can choose to deal with the builder directly, but we are so glad we got Kathys help. It sounds counter-intuitive when working directly with builders, but they can get you just as bad or worse. She fought tooth and nail for us to get them to fix numerous oversights and re-do things that were shoddy worksmanship unworthy of a high dollar home. Remember, realtors will help you with new construction too, so get Kathy involved immediately before you begin the process to pick a builder. It will be a huge relief having someone in your corner.
