I cannot recommend Austin Home Girls highly enough!!! We worked with Reinae to buy our house in Austin in 2013 and worked mostly with Nikki to sell the house in 2024. Both times, we were partially out of state for the process and I cant stress enough how imperative it is to have an agent that is professional, organized, trustworthy, and that really gets you as a client. Reinae and Nikki are both incredibly patient with folks like me and my husband who can get stressed about such a large transaction. During the sale of our house in 2024, Nikki really came through for us in dealing with prepping our house for sale, dealing with some unforeseen repairs, and honestly, holding firm with us when we were getting nervous. Nikkis knowledge and expertise got us tens of thousands more than what we expected--sometimes I thought we should drop the price but she assured me we were priced appropriately and I trusted her (and Reinae) to see us through. And they did--they totally did. You cant go wrong in selecting Austin Home Girls: whether youre buying or selling, the peace of mind you get with an agent like Nikki or Reinae is invaluable. We came to Austin Home Girls Realty after our house had been listed for over nine months with a different agency. Nikki helped us pinpoint a few areas of the home that needed some (easy and low budget) sprucing up, set us up with the most incredible stager, and made a creative and fun video about the listing on Instagram. After 12 days on the market, we had an offer & were under contract - we closed within a month. She answered all of our questions And was helping us navigate everything while we were already living out of state. Our only regret is not coming to Austin Home Girls first.

Nikki was great to work with. We started our house hunting expedition right around Covid and Nikki showed us a lot of homes. Ultimately, none of the houses that we looked at worked out during that time. We decided to stop our house hunting search and Nikki was completely understanding. She went above and beyond even during the crazy house market at that time. She continued sending us houses that might peak our interest. We stayed in touch with Nikki on and off, seeing if we would restart our house search. Ultimately, we decided to sell our house and move out of Texas, closer to family. Nikki understood and she went above and beyond, helping us prep our house, to get it on the market, and staged. Our house sold within a few weeks, a lot faster than the other homes up for sale, in our neighborhood. Her knowledge and attention to detail helped us set our house above others in our neighborhood by doing the small things. We cannot say enough about how well and wonderful Nikki is and the Austin Girls Realty group. If you’re looking for someone to sell your house and really look after you as a client, you cannot find anyone better than for Nikki.

From the beginning, Reinae listened to our needs and wants very carefully & understood the overall vibe & character we were looking for. As a queer interracial couple, it was very important to us that we find a neighborhood in which we felt very comfortable. Reinae really helped with this especially since we didnt know Austin that well. Her assessment was on point and we couldnt be more thrilled with the home we purchased - it ticked all the boxes & more. There were a few snags in the process and a nightmare of dealing with the sellers side, but ultimately Reinae made things right and more than redeemed the situation. I knew Reinae was a go getter from the first time we met. I liked her energy and decided I would give her the opportunity to sell my Clarksville/Austin investment property. My wife and I are both non practicing real estate agents so our expectations were high. Reinae did not disappoint us. She was always in touch with us providing feedback from showings. She also held numerous open houses to promote the property. Reinae sold the property in a down market and got us a great return on our investment at over $300 per square foot! She then helped us purchase our new residence and we just closed on it this week. She was just as diligent in the buying process as she was selling. She negotiated and was able to get us a great value, well under appraised value. Reinae is a great realtor and will fight for our needs whether buying or selling. I could write a book on how good Reinae was, so I’ll try and sum it up. Got a job offer to move from Philly PA to Texas, and found Austin Home Girls based off stellar reviews. Knowing no one here, it was important to get a good realtor to rep us while being 1700 miles away. That being said, Reinae was everything and more. She spent two full days on our fly out here to help find homes. When we met in person my wife and I both got a folder full of homes, recent sold prices, trends, stats, etc etc. When settling on a home, she was our eyes, ears, and voice for alot of things that we couldn’t do once returning to Philly. She fought tooth and nail on small and large issues in the process. Never once did she just shut up and try and close the deal for her. She fought to make sure we got everything fixed and done right, even if it meant us backing out. Not once did she ever worry about her sale money, it was always about our house being perfect. She did a blue tape for us a week prior, and she didn’t miss a beat. She found more issues then I ever could. I can’t recommend Reinae enough, in fact, a person would be foolish to not hire Reinae. If you want your money to get you ever possible thing it can on a buy, Reinae is the one to hire. In the end, we bought with Reinae, have been thrilled through the process, and gained our first friend in Austin. Don’t let her friendly personality fool you, she can be a Pitbull when it comes to repping her clients.

Reinae was the best. We were returning to Austin after a stint in the Northeast. Reinae worked with us long distance at first, and then reserved a week to show houses when we were able to be in town. She was straight forward and responsive, lent her advice and knowledge, but also took our lead and supported what we wanted. She was extremely patient working with myself, a first-time home buyer, and my parents who werent even in the state.Most importantly, Reinae is a straight shooter and did not let us lead ourselves astray, but also took the time to make sure we understood why and how her advice was helping us. She managed to find us a beautiful house in less than a month, and when we wavered on buying a house so soon, let us know that we had a great deal on our hands and not to miss out on it!Reinae then was a very savvy negotiator, and has a seemingly endless group of great people to call on for inspections and any home work that needs to be done. Our best advice would be to stop reading this and call Reinae immediately. But if you want the whole story, here goes. Like a lot of families, we decided to move from New York to Austin during the pandemic. (A friend originally hooked us up with a different realtor and it soon became clear he was either chronically depressed or utterly jaded by the world of real estate.) So, we looked up highly rated agents and gave Reinae a call. From the moment she picked up the phone we knew she was the perfect fit—cripplingly funny, astonishingly knowledgeable, and reassuringly firm. In short, Reinae expertly guided us through the bonkers COVID-era market, and we ended up with a fantastic investment. We honestly can’t recommend Reinae highly enough. She’s brilliant!

Reinae is truly awesome. I have a couple of real estate agent friends but I didnt want to mix friends and business with my first home purchase because I didnt want to be influenced by their opinions. I found Reinae on yelp, and Im so glad I did! She was so supportive and informative without bringing an ounce of pressure into the equation. She gave me an education! She pointed out red flags and taught me how to notice them. She explained the whole home-buying process and got me in touch with other pros - mortgage broker, insurance agent, inspector, etc - all with whom I ended up being impressed. She set up an online system for notifying me of new listings as soon as they came on the market, and called me sometimes only minutes after they hit my inbox if she thought Id really like them to see if I wanted to check them out immediately. After showing me a bunch of homes and helping me identify what I was looking for, she got a really good feel for what I wanted and became a hawk-eye for me in the market. Beyond all that, Reinae was just so supportive and kind in the process. I had a family member end up in the hospital critically ill right before the closing, and she went above and beyond to make sure all my ducks were in a row and everything went smoothly since my mind was elsewhere. Not only do I now have a new home I love, I made a great friend in the process!

Reinae Kessler is absolutely the best realtor in Austin. When we moved to Central Texas in 2011, she helped us find a great home in a school district that we wanted to send our two sons. It was a wonderful neighborhood off the beaten path complete with nice amenities and great people. She helped us make this choice by meeting us and getting to know us before helping us wade through the many challenges of the seemingly always red hot Austin real estate market.She proved to us that she was a great negotiator and genuine joy to work with as we had many questions. Patiently, she walked us through the entire process since we had not bought a home in many years. When we needed help with anything including finding a handyman, painter, whatever you can imagine you would need when you are new to an area, she was there for us. She made the entire process go very smoothly, making a hard transition much easier.We lived in Austin for three years and remained good friends with Reinae who continued to provide names for services related to our house and yard. When we had to move in 2014, we immediately contacted her to serve as our representative. She helped us so much. We wanted to sell and then rent back for a few months. She brought us a great buyer who agreed, and everything for that setup to the actual sale went as smoothly as it could. On moving day, she even showed up and helped us at the last minute pack some of the last things as we ran out of time (now, that is a full service provider). We so appreciated all that she did and will always remain a huge fan.That said, if we ever move back to Central Texas (and we hope to do so), the first person we will contact is Reinae. Reinae helped us to buy a house in Austin from our current base overseas. Needless to say this was a challenging process. We were very far from Austin and didnt have the time or inclination to travel there to explore the city or view potential properties. Reinae took the time to video tape and send to us some of the areas we were interested in, traveling on foot through neighborhoods and offering up information about schools, services and neighborhood feel. Throughout, she was patient, informative, responsive and more than willing to take and reply to phone calls and emails at odd times of the day. During the buying process she was extremely thorough and we felt our needs and requirements as buyers were fulfilled to the highest professional standards. Due to the fact that we were so far away Reinae went above and beyond the normal service one would expect from a property agent, helping us to organize inspections and even once the sale was completed she continued to help us to find contractors to do work on the house and garden, despite the fact that she was under no obligation to do so. We have been highly impressed and wouldnt hesitate to recommend her to friends .. in fact we have already done so!

I am another first time homebuyer who cannot say enough good things about Reinae.After attempting to contact another top-reviewed Realtor, I stumbled on Reinaes page and used her search tool. Within 45 minutes, Reinae reached out to me - without being pushy - and told me shed love to help with my home search. I sent her my preapproval along with a few properties I liked so she could get a feel for what I was looking for, and we scheduled some time on a Sunday to check out some properties.I ended up putting in an offer and ultimately buying the very first house we looked at! We absolutely loved working with Carmen during our home buying experience! We had been living in Austin for a little over a year in a rental house and knew we wanted to make this city our permanent home. Not knowing where to start or who to contact, I decided to search in the Facebook group of the neighborhood we were living in to see if anyone had posted any suggestions on a Realtor. We were referred to Reinae by some friends of ours and she helped us with both the purchase of our new home and the sale of our previous home. She was instrumental in helping us work through some issues we had after our inspection, she had a list of very dependable and affordable vendors for us to use to help us ensure we were making the right decision. She made herself available to meet with the inspector, the builder and any other vendors that were visiting the home which was super helpful because my husband and I didnt have to take off work all the time to be there. She is very straight forward and ethical in her approach. She is a strong negotiator and I feel that she has a great pulse on the Austin market. She was also very responsive, anytime I needed to get in touch with her she would call or text me back immediately. My wife and I had an excellent house-buying experience with Reinae. She always had our best interests in mind and worked long and hard to find us the best property.Initially we planned to purchase a condo. After Reinae showed us several and explained HOA fees and control over common areas, we realized that condos might be OK for some, but not for us.Then she showed us single-family homes in our desired area. She pointed out properties that met our investment objectives, gathered comps, and projected repairs needed and possible cash-flow. She was also very honest about some homes that had latent fatal flaws.Reinae is a great negotiator -- The house that we decided upon was priced far under its TCAD value, yet she encouraged us to make an offer considerably lower than we thought reasonable. The buyer accepted two days later!Reinae kept us notified as events happened during the purchasing process. We closed in less than 30 days, and we are very pleased with the house. BEST. EXPERIENCE. EVER.We could not be happier with the experience that Reinae provided us, she is absolutely the best. Right away, I knew she was genuine and sincere in how she does things and didnt leave us guessing. Although she was very friendly and sweet, she was also quite blunt and honest. Her personality is perfect for those who are tired of people who dilly dally but also dont want to be pushed around.It took me over a year to write this review. I just couldnt bring myself to write one and feel like I did justice by her and the quality of work she provided our family. I know it sounds like an excuse but seriously ..House hunting is an overwhelming experience. We had never gotten a house or even browsed for one yet. We knew what we wanted but could not verbalize what our needs were due to our lack of experience as home buyers but also lack of experience as a couple in the market for a new home together. Not only were we in the market with no clue of each others taste, we also had a quite rare need. I needed a 9ft pool table to fit in the house somewhere!! Reinae was really helpful and very passionate about getting our needs met. She almost seemed excited to be challenged!! She would ask questions about what we might like or dislike about a house in a way that made it feel like you were almost talking to a close friend; but then she took the info and ran with it! She came up with several options within just over a day. She gets her work done, folks!! She would literally be emailing/texting us day and night. Its like she doesnt sleep!Her expertise and passion got us into the PERFECT house. We were not in the market quite yet but she found such a fitting home that we could not pass it up.(and we are not impulsive buyers at all)It has now been a little over a couple of years since we moved in to our new home. She was ALWAYS available and returned most phone calls and text messages almost before I could finishing leaving them for her. Nikki helped us navigate through several complex issues with the HOA. If she did not have an immediate answer to a question, she would get it ASAP. I loved working with Nikki. She was professional, knowledgeable, and always helpful. As an Austin transplant from California with 3 dogs, Carmen is a fantastic, trustworthy, and authentic realtor who went far above and beyond to meet our housing needs (which were comprised of a long list of must-haves and minimal flexibility). She was great at keeping us informed through timely communication and was incredibly thorough with our house hunting process, as my partner and I were located out of state and were unable to make a trip to the area to participate in the process in person. Being in the military and having moved several times in my career, I have worked with my share of realtors and rank her above all the rest. Her positive and upbeat attitude was a bonus as it kept the momentum going in finding us a suitable home/landlord who would allow 3 dogs. Never did we feel neglected or question the status of the process. Carmen was our “eyes and ears” and she utilized various tools to ensure that we could gain a better understanding of the properties that she was pursing on our behalf. For example, she made countless videos of the properties and narrated a description of each room and potential uses—especially the kind of details that a typical person may not take into consideration (e.g., putting things into context so we could gain a better understanding of sizes, colors, etc.; making note of the windows that sunlight enters the house; etc.). Throughout the process, we always felt that she was our advocate, and her successful negotiations with our landlord resulted in us saving some money which made for a nice surprise. Never did we have any doubts, but when we finally arrived at our new home for the first time, we were so relieved and happy because everything was exactly as we anticipated—with no “gotchas.”I strongly urge “Austinites” and future transplants to consider working with Carmen—it’s one decision you will not regret!
