Chris Secrest helped my fiancée and I buy our first house. He was more than our real estate broker, he was a comforting resource in a field totally foreign to us. I was lucky enough to have rented one of Chriss properties for 3 years during my time at Texas State. It was my first time living on my own and I could not have chosen a better place to live or a better landlord/property owner. Chris is very responsive and wants you to enjoy your stay, any issue I had he would reply within the hour and we would come up with a resolution. He made the rules and limitations very clear from the get go, and also gave good tips on how to take care of the house in order to get my security deposit back at the end. The home I rented was nice and very well taken care of, there is no lack of maintenance. My microwave went out one day and Chris was over the next day replacing it. To add to this, the place I rented was similar to a duplex, I shared a wall with my neighbors who also rented from Chris. I had a new neighbor each of the 3 years I lived there, and they were all wonderful, friendly people. Again, I feel lucky to have gotten the chance to live in one of Chriss properties and would recommend him to anyone looking for a place to live in San Marcos.

I was researching for a realtor in the San Marcos area to sell my condo and based on all of the positive Google reviews, I reached out to Chris at Pinnacle Properties. I was VERY pleased with how professional, courteous and knowledgeable he was. My listing was a little unique in that I had a tenant who worked odd hours so Chris was also very patient with the process. We received an offer above asking after 4 days on the market. Its important to find a realtor who knows and understands the market. Chris is that realtor.

I first met Chris at church, where we are both ushers. When the lease was up on my current rental I was having a really hard finding a place and time was running out. So I called Chris. He informed me that he had a property that was a couple days away from being move-in ready. He had me come out that very same day to view it!
