John Staab with Motive was great to work with on the purchase of my family’s home. As an accountant & entrepreneur, I appreciated John’s attention to detail, honesty, patience, and his ability to see things, both positive and negative, in many of the homes we looked at that I may not have noticed. His years of experience were apparent as he answered all of our questions and offered suggestions and creative solutions along the way. John Staab went above and beyond to help me find a house and sell my house! He was very knowledgable in the structural soundness of houses, and was able to help me find the house and location that worked best for me. John helped me with contractors to make changes to the house I bought before I moved in, and with getting my house ready to sell as well. He walked through the house I sold with suggestions to get it ready to sell, and was fantastic at marketing it! John was wonderful to work with, he was always there, and he was very helpful and supportive! John was a blessing in my life and placed in my life from the LORD! I can not give enough praise to the job that Motive Real Estate (John Staab) has done in the buying and selling of my houses. Not only did he have my house that Im selling under contract in 2 days (over asking price), but he helped my wife and I find our perfect house and get it even though there were multiple offers. Its really hard to explain how high the level of service is that you get from Motive Real Estate. On another note, for every house that Motive buys or sells they build a house for a family in an impoverished country. You cant find a more trust worthy or hardworking agency in all of DFW.

My wife, Janie meet John while eating dinner at the Wildcatter Ranch & Resort in Graham Texas. It was a per chance meeting. He was not working, and Janie was vIsiting a longtime friend in Graham. Let me tell you, John Staab and the team at Motive are incredible.My wife and I were focused on a particular area we desired to find a home in, and we had actually spent some time searching and even making offers before we ever met John Staab or heard of Motive Real Estate Group.In fact, when we first met John, we didnt even have a realtor. We would just book showings through listing agents. (I actually didnt want to use a realtor at all; my wife will tell you I was maybe a little stubborn on that front, haha.)Anyway, thats how we met John, through one of his listings. When he showed us the home, we were really impressed. Not by the home so much, but by John. He was upfront, honest, and genuinely interested in us and our desires for a home/community.You could contend that thats his job, and it was his attempt to gain us as clients. Which, sure, is true to a degree, but it was way more than that.John gave us his card, and we parted ways. It wasnt more than a few days later that we were touring another house with John, and from then on we knew we were in great hands.Now, this isnt going to be one of those stories where I describe how we found the perfect home in no time once we met John. Quite the opposite. Our home buying journey was long and arduous, at different times curious, confusing, hard, and heartbreaking, and we are so tremendously grateful to have had John and Motive walking alongside us for that year of searching.In the end, we did find the perfect house. Actually, John found it. We love our home; its exactly where we always wanted to be, in a location even better than we ever imagined.Im not saying everyone can expect the same end result, but I imagine your experience will be similarly full of personal care, in-depth knowledge, late-night advice, and an unending generosity of time, energy, and spirit.Over our year of searching together, John became more than our realtor.
