My husband and I have bought and sold homes many times over the last 30 years. After using Monica Atherton to sell our previous and purchase our present home, all past agents pale in comparison and failed to fight for our best interests. Most agents seem to only be in the business, for the money and do as little as required. Monica got our house sold for what we wanted in a tough market, within a few weeks’ time and she helped us get an awesome deal on the home we now own. She didnt put just a little effort into the process; it was because of her knowledge, expertise, negotiating skills and time spent that she had so much success. She loves what she does, and it shows! We would never use another agent besides Monica in the future!

Monica Atherton provided excellent service throughout the whole process of finding and purchasing a home in Georgetown. I am moving to the area from out of state which added some challenges, and she was very capable and willing to sort out them out. Purchasing a home is a huge task. We interviewed a number of people to help us find our home, and when we met Monica it was an instant, unanimous “Yes, she’s the one!” … and we weren’t disappointed. She is a highly trained professional, always available, flexible and fast. We were moving from the East Coast and didn’t know much about the area. She interviewed us, discovered what we wanted, and utilizing her knowledge of the area she showed us places that we were unaware of despite the research we previously did. Once she re-routed the whole tour, she had planned for us that day when we changed our minds about which area to see first. She pointed out things that would become unpleasant surprises if we were to find out on our own after purchasing a home. She “had our back” from day one, and still three months after we bought our home, if we have any question (about the insurance the previous owner had for us, etc) she gets back as if we were new customers. And as for our home, it is everything we dreamed about; it feels wonderful to be HOME!
