My partner and I have been with Mars Hill for coming up on 2 years now and will be renewing for a 3rd. Tosalyn Sellers has been our go-to liaison for any Mars Hill communication and shes been nothing but awesome this whole time. Very accommodating, understanding, and just a nice person all-around. Never thought Id see myself leaving a five-star review for a property management company, but I cant deny theyve been the easiest and best to work with compared to several others in the area Ive worked with in the past. 10/10 would recommend.

My property manager Bree Holt has been wonderful in every way, though the pre-lease property walkthrough and in the follow up for my moving in and her checking in with me afterwards. Mars Hill was a breath of fresh air after my last property management company. I was used to fighting through automated systems and waiting days for call backs/email replies, but Mars Hill was extremely accessible and responsive. I thought it was too good to be true at first, but they remained consistent throughout the several months I worked with them. I genuinely felt valued as a tenant by Mars Hill, probably more than I ever have in my life, and I’ve rented a LOT. Everyone I interacted with was great, but I want to mention Brian specifically for what I consider going above and beyond. I was dealing with several ongoing issues when he took over, and I really felt advocated for in situations where it wasn’t possible to advocate for myself. He was patient, flexible, knowledgeable, and was able to find solutions that worked for all involved on multiple occasions. It feels weird to be singing the praises of a property management company because I normally find myself complaining about them, but I would truly recommend this company to anyone asking. They stand out from the rest!

Due to life’s circumstances, we had to end our lease early. Our representative from the Mars Hill Property Management Team, Tosalyn, was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. When we first informed her we would be leaving early, she spoke with me by phone to go over the lease requirements for Early Termination, and fully answered all my questions about the move out procedures. It was important to us that we be refunded our entire deposit, so Tosalyn made sure I understood all the expectations. After we informed her the house was empty, she immediately scheduled the move out walk-through and stayed in touch by email to let us know of any repairs which needed to be done. She gave us the option of making repairs ourselves rather than hiring vendors to do the work at our expense. Also, until the amended end of our lease, Tosalyn would email to let us know the yard needed to be mowed, and again asked if we would rather do it than pay someone else to do it. I cannot say enough about how much we appreciate Tosalyn’s kindness and professionalism, and the fact that she went above and beyond to make our move-out as easy as possible.

We have loved our experience with Mars Hill so far. In October 2023, my husband found out the military was moving us from Texas to California. We had been living in our first home that we had ever bought for 3.5 years and were so nervous for the process. Mars Hill made it SO easy. Ive been living in my current rental for nearly 14 years. Mars Hill is the 3rd Property Manager Ive had in that time. I appreciate being able to pay rent online, as well as using their online portal to make Service Requests when something needs attention. They always respond super quickly and schedule needed maintenance and repairs quickly. In the 4 years Ive been with them, theyve: replaced the roof, installed new carpet, replaced the refrigerator, dishwasher, and stove, and done a myriad of repairs on leaking toilets and sinks, kitchen drawers that wouldnt close, outdoor decking steps that rotted, a front door knob that fell off, the A/C and thermostat, you name it. They are on top of every little thing I say this old house needs!

Most amazing company that I have used to rent from by far! The whole staff is super user friendly and has gone above and beyond for my wife and I (and our puppy). Even the portal they use for paying rent, calling in service calls, etc... is super user friendly. Valerie T. has personally handled all of our transitions from entering the house to adjusting our lease to helping me care for the lawn before I could purchase a lawnmower at the start of the pandemic! Mars Hill did exceptional work for their owner during the selling process. I am a Realtor who represented a seller with their property with Mars Hill. Many property managers in that situation are not helpful at all during the selling process, coordinating showings with tenants, getting documents to agents, etc. There is no reward for the property manager, especially as property managers often lose the home once it sells to a new buyer with their own property manager. But Mars Hill was fantastic to work with. They looked after their client, the owner, and made sure they helped their client accomplish their goal (selling), even when they werent going to make a dime from it. That is how a good property manager should operate, and I was impressed at all points by their professionalism and helpfulness throughout the process. I would recommend them to any home owners in Williamson County TX looking for a conscientious property manager who has the owners interests at heart, first and foremost.

Over the past 13 years, I have leased a variety of homes and have dealt with different property management companies. My experience with Mars Hill has been outstanding! I love the tenant portal and the quick turnaround whenever Ive had maintenance requests. I love that they helped me during my time with one property and then when it was time for me to move on to another neighborhood, their Sales Specialist Janet Mangan helped me find the perfect house for me and my two teenagers. Janet listened intently to what our needs were and even though it ended up not being a house they managed, her level of service and care never waivered. I also believe that they did a fabulous job at representing their clients too. They were always fair and managed to achieve the delicate balance between Owner and Tenant.

About four years ago, I wanted to sell my house because I was so stressed out from trying to rent it out myself. I kept getting nightmare tenants who interviewed really well but then basically gave me the bait and switch. I was burnt out and frazzled but then I contacted Mars Hill after a suggestion from my former realtor.The difference was pretty much night and day. They vetted everyone for me. They rented my place out to awesome tenants who didnt trash my place and paid their rent on time. It really was great.Their maintenance crew, customer service (all their services they offer really) and all the attention they gave me and my house was pretty awesome.I asked once why I wasnt getting reports every month and they explained they dont send reports when there is a negative or zero sum for that month but still obliged me by sending me the monthly reports for owner draws (as requested - as Im the type that likes to have everything in sequence and orderly).I cant speak for other peoples experiences but mine has been great and I will definitely keep using them in the future, should I buy another house or more houses to rent out.I trust them to give excellent service and manage my property better than I ever could.

My wife and I recently moved down from Chicago to the Austin area, eventually purchasing our home in Cedar Park. Edwin Lui was very personable and professional during the entire time that he worked with us in finding our home. Even though he lives up in Round Rock and has a family of his own with two young kids, he was more than willing to sacrifice his evenings and weekends to take us out and search for homes all over the North Austin/Cedar Park/Round Rock area. He was also very accessible by email or text with any questions or concerns we had during the entire process. We felt no pressure from him to buy quickly or settle on a house that we were not totally comfortable with, and he was very honest in his assessment of the numerous homes that we looked at. He also has great connections with lenders and mortgage brokers in the area, which gave me a lot of comfort because I was able to speak with the referred lender and make sure that financially everything was in place for the eventual purchase of our house. I even got a rate discount through the lender since Edwin referred me!Overall a wonderful experience with Mars Hill Realty - you will not regret using them as your realtor!

My wife and i rented this apartment sight unseen because of the pandemic, but I fell in love with it when I first opened the front door. we love having coffee in the morning on the back porch, watching the people with their pets in the Bark Park! We like Happy Hour on the front porch. There is lots of space, massive closets, and bathrooms everywhere we need them.I should add how pleased I was to discover that Corrie Buckey would be conducting our final walk through. She was wonderful to work with when we first moved in, despite all the confusion of the pandemic, and she continues to be wonderful to work with today. (She even brought us a couple of pieces of mail that were blowing around the property for some unknown reason!)

Both Edward and Edwin did a great job in helping us sell our house. We worked primarily with Edwin throughout the entire process. Edwin recommended we get a pre-sale inspection of our home, which initially seemed like an additional expense, but in the end I believe it was the best investment we made during the sales process. It helped us uncover items that might have been considered show stoppers by prospective buyers during their own inspections further along in the contract process. With our inspection in place and available to prospective buyers, we were able to more effectively disclose all known problems and improve the initial negotiations. Edwins negotiation skills were awesome. He helped us maximize our profit, which I am convinced we would not have done on our own. I highly recommend Edwin, Edward and Mars Hill Realty.

Excellent performance by Mars Hill Realty throughout the selling process that continually exceeded our expectations. Their efforts in generating “buzz” through their contacts and inside knowledge resulted in us receiving our full asking price after only six days on the market. This was after our first offer at 48 hours, an average of two to four showings per day, and succeeded by a back-up offer for even more than our asking price. Their sound advice at each critical juncture resulted in our house selling for the highest amount per square foot since 2006, and the second highest amount in the past sixteen years of MLS records for our neighborhood. If you are considering selling it yourself like we were – don’t. We made more money selling with them, even after their commission, than we would have on our own.
