When it came, she told me I should protest it and gave me the documentation (comps in my area) to back it up! The thought of selling/buying a home towards the end of my pregnancy was daunting, to say the least, but Nancy was there for us every step of the way and made the process so much less stressful. She was extremely patient with us when we had difficulty deciding on our target area, and offered wonderful insight on each property we viewed. Nancy had our best interest in mind every step of the way, from listing and selling our current house, with complete transparency about the list price, to negotiating on the house we purchased. We went under contract on both houses shortly after having the baby, and Nancy truly went above and beyond to ensure any of our concerns during the negotiation/inspection process were resolved prior to closing on either property. Nancy is an amazing real estate agent. She is everything you could want in an agent when you are selling your home. I want to give Realtor Nancy Messina the highest form of praise as I possibly can as a new first time home owner. I moved to Texas from Delaware to start a new career in Dallas and needed to find a house in May 2022 at the height of the rebound from the pandemic. Dallas quickly became one of the hottest sellers’ markets in the country and interest rates were climbing by the day. Sellers were receiving offers >50k over the asking price. New builds were auctioning homes to the highest bidder. Builders were selling homes based off construction plans to buyers states away. Investment companies were moving in on the housing sector and buying up property thus driving up the prices by increasing demand. Needless to say, it was EXTREMELY difficult for buyers to find reasonably priced homes without paying thousands over the asking price.This is where Nancy came into play. I worked with a few realtors during my search that started in 2021 and she was by far the most thorough, personable, and knowledgeable in this process. She quickly became an educator and friend. I appreciated how informed she was but also took the time to explain each step of the process in a way that was easy to understand. She educated me, fought for me, planned, strategized, and made the process as smooth as humanly possible.The day I found my home, she was adamant about booking the first possible appointment for a new builder in between Dallas and Ft Worth. I fell in love with the home and put down earnest money immediately. While doing the transaction, 3 other people came in looking to buy my current home that was just taken off the market. This is a challenging time to purchase a property in the Dallas area. I was in the market for an investment property, having recently sold a condo and needed to move fast due to the 1031 exchange perimeters. Basically, I had limited time to identify and close escrow otherwise I’d loose substantially to taxes. Nancy and I put in multiple competitive offers and were beaten every time by those who were paying 20% over asking. I was feeling very defeated and stressed that I would not make my dead line. Nancy pulled a rabbit out of her hat and found a property that not only fit my budget (with plenty of room to spare) but also was $5k under the asking price. Which is unheard of right now. Where do I even begin ... I had the privilege of having Nancy as my realtor to buy my house and then even more privileged to have her sell that same house. When I tell you Nancy knows what she’s doing, and she has the connections with whomever you may need to perform a service if you need repairs. She makes buying and selling houses a breeze. Her charming personality along with her knowledge of Realestate make it a win win situation. She’s a fantastic multitasker so everything looks and flows easily when really I know it isn’t . I didn’t have to think about which buyer I was going with out of the 22 that applied because Nancy had all of that taken care of for me. I trusted her to choose the right one because she knows all of the ins and outs of buying and selling; She’s the expert! My husband raves about her because she is easy to contact. He just sold his house in MO and had very minimal contact with his realtor as the realtor would not answer or return his calls. His realtor did not suggest an appraisal waiver when he chose the buyer who went over the listing price. When the appraisal came back short, it was my husband who lost out. This type of stuff doesn’t happen with Nancy. She always answers her phone/text or she will call/text you back if she can’t answer at the time. It is obvious she loves her job because her performance is outstanding. If you want an enjoyable experience, I suggest you hire Fancy Nancy. You can’t go wrong.

My husband and I were new Texas transplants, moving from Seattle, WA.
