I just sold my house with Kiel and he made a normally anxiety-inducing and chaotic process for me feel so easy it was almost fun! I have worked with other agents for selling previous homes and found many times that they tended to focus on the negative, doing what they thought would make them a quick and easy commission, trying to get me to go below what I was comfortable with and make many expensive changes. Kiel came in with a very positive attitude, a focus on what was great about the house and the selling points, and went through all the numbers and comps with me from the beginning so that I could be completely confident in the price that I had chosen and know that it would get sold with very little effort/compromise from my end. I know that the market is good for selling right now and that helped tremendously, but starting off on the positives really meant a lot to me and was the reassurance that I needed to move forward. When things did come up that needed to be worked on to make sure there wouldnt be any issue selling, Kiel was ready with excellent recommendations for local handymen/contractors, and how we could resolve any problems with minimal difficulty. He is also knowledgeable in lenders and issues with buyers using specific lenders, and kept me informed of any tricks/techniques that buyers might use to bargain something out of nothing.In short, Kiel was positive, responsive, extremely knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make my (the sellers) best interest his first priority. I couldnt be happier with the outcome of the sale, and I sincerely hope that he will still be working in the area when I am ready to sell again! I will definitely be recommending him if anyone I know in the area is planning to sell.

We are very grateful for the calming presence of The Smith Team when selling our home in todays challenging real estate market. Our agent, Kiel, represented us with polished professionalism. He communicated promptly, gave knowledgeable counsel, and skillfully used the many resources available to him to advertise and find a buyer for our home, and then negotiate the sales price and requested repairs with the buyers agent. Kiel coordinated with the appraiser, the home inspection company, and the title company and kept us updated of the progress being made. Throughout the process, Alysa and Vanessa electronically communicated with us about each step that lead up to a very smooth closing. Kiel assisted my spouse and I in buying an older home. He found/recommended the BEST inspector who quite literally found EVERYTHING that was wrong with it. Kiel used this inspector (Chris Shack - Shack Inspections) even though his thoroughness can sometimes scare buyers since he does indeed find every issue. The fact that he does so speaks to his integrity and the fact that hes there to support you as the buyer - not to make quick sales. Due to the various issues with the house, Kiel took the lead on finding contractors to provide quotes for the big ticket items and literally stayed at the house in order to meet with them and get their quotes/opinions. He always stayed on top of any paperwork needed and would proactively have us sign various forms (like request to extend, cancel contracts, etc) to ensure we didnt caught in a bind. Theres so much more that Kiel did for us - especially since we had a terrible closing - but it would literally be paragraphs of gushing! 10/10 would recommend to anybody looking for a realtor who cares and is committed to supporting you.

My wife and I needed to find and purchase a house very quickly and we expected a responsive and resourceful Realtor...we were not disappointed. Kiel took our suggestions and even anticipated what we would like and knocked it out of the park. We had 1 day to look at...14 houses, i believe, and he coordinated and scheduled it flawlessly so that we were able to see and pick a house, and still make it back home (4 hours away) that evening. I would highly recommend Kiel. He made sure to communicate between lenders, title companies, existing and future owners so that every detail was lined out. He was responsive and thoughtful, even after the business was all over. And at the very end, he brought us cookies and a very thoughtful house warming gift.11/10 would recommend.
