I closed on my first home today and my agent Austyn Richardson of Larsen Realty team was so amazing to work with. He took care of every detail, facilitated a smooth and quick (3 weeks!) closing, and his overall presence and positivity brings a lot to the table. Hes professional, has a lot of industry knowledge and understanding, and has that figure it out mentality that gave me a lot of confidence throughout the process. Im so glad I went to him for my first home purchase and look forward to working with him as I eventually look more into investment opportunities!

Candace Carew, with Keller Williams deserves a review that covers all the highlights of her leadership skills with us during the sale of our home and simultaneous purchase of our new home.Candace Carew was ready to advise, show us comps, show houses and get us going in March 2015. She worked tirelessly, intending to help us move in the summer. Our plans were interrupted by an unexpected hardship. We had little contact with Candace for about 8 months. She was patient and understanding, and ready to resume with us when we called her in May of 2016.Candace had our house on the market within a couple of weeks of our call, and we had a contract on it the second day on the market, which quickly fell through. Undeterred, within days she had it relisted and was managing multiple offers. We went with her advice on our selling price, which later proved to be right on, low enough for higher offer bidding and not high enough to exceed appraisal value. She made market predictions about how the offers would come in that were exactly correct.As Candace was showing our home and hosting open houses, she was also amazingly available to us, day and night, answering our questions, showing us (many) homes, participating in countless long conversations, and listening well to learn just what we needed and preferred. She didn’t flinch at our need to make offers on homes under contingency, and she worked hard for us to make the best offers we could make within our limits. Before our journey to our new home was over, Candace would submit about four offers.By mid-June we had simultaneous selling and purchasing contracts. Candace showed excellent business skills working with agents, lenders, appraisers, inspectors, title companies, accomplishing everything on our side right on time. When our current mortgage lender caused a glitch in our closing, she took that in stride and led the way to a postponed date with no complaints. Our purchase contract took some unexpected, unpleasant turns, which were completely out of her control. Our journey started to become stressful, but she stayed steady, positive and cheerful. It went from bad to worse when our buyer’s lender began to lead us along, postponing closing several times with no explanation, not returning Candace’s calls. Candace relentlessly called, emailed and texted all involved, tactfully advocating our cause. She stayed in close contact with us, keeping us informed of every update we needed to know, while shielding us from details we didn’t need to know that would only stress us out. She shouldered a lot for us.Today, Aug. 12, she completely outdid herself in the final stretch…. Not knowing this morning whether our buyer’s docs would come through for today’s closing or not (again), she spent the first half of the day in continual contact with all the support personnel to make it happen. She texted us at 2:30 pm and told us to come ride with her to the title company….. closing was about to happen. With “bumper to bumper” intensity, each transaction handing off the two houses seemed to hang by a thread throughout the day. She was able to finally take us to our new home and give us the key at 7 pm. We were together for 4 ½ hours, all on high adrenalin, hopeful that both closings would really happen this time. Though stressful, it was such a pleasant 4 ½ hours with her! Her voice and demeanor were consistently calm, quiet and deliberate, and I was really proud of her professionality with each of the closing support people we had to deal with and of her knowledge of what needed to be done when.I can’t imagine any agent handling our complicated journey any better than Candace did it. Candace was strong for the finish, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice of agent! Candace Carew, with Keller Williams has proven she is able to deliver, regardless of the unpredictable ways a transaction can go. She was so excited with us today after our successful closings. She will take care of your interests!

My husband and I would like to give a warm, heartfelt thanks to Jann Caldwell of Keller Williams Realty in Rockwall, TX, for her outstanding support and personal attention to our needs during the recent sale of our 2-acre home in Rockwall County. Our need to downsize after 25 years, coupled with my husbands disability, and faced with time constraints, Jann worked tirelessly day and late evenings, including weekends, to meet our needs, which came to fruition in only a few weeks from start to finish. Additionally, and without asking, she selflessly took the initiative, based upon our needs, to relocate us to our current residence which greatly eased our minds during a stressful time. She even made available to us, if needed, her personal transportation and offered to help with boxes during our move. Her superlative interpersonal customer service skills, acute attention to detail, and human compassion causes us without hesitation, to doff our hats to this most austere professional who most assuredly stands head and shoulders among the best of her contemporaries and peers.
